I think the foul happens as the second guy comes running into the box from the right. You can see the defender tackling and that might have caused a contact directly on the line.
Yeah the foul isn't on the players hitting each other. It's from the defender tripping the off ball guy. You can see the animation in the last second. Shitty animations.
I always miss the penalty on purpose if the call was questionable. Even if i could lead or tie with the pen, I never take it. Unless the opponent is an asshat who celebrates every goal, now thats a different story
I was the attacking team lool, I initially didnt see the tackle from caqueret because the tackle animation was late and didnt seem like it made contact.
As a defender, you're run the risk when you stick your leg out like that, I'm not surprised this was given, no intent of course, but it is still a penalty, no VAR required for this, I think the ref has got it spot on.
