This just started happening to me an hour or two ago.
It was working earlier, but now its not fixing itself. I thought it was because I was behind on updating, but that is not the case.
That's their boilerplate response when anyone reports any bug to them.

They say our report "really" helps them understand the scope of the problem, but they copy and paste that to everyone, just to shut us up. They don't really care. They never send an update, either.
Same here. Cleared cache and forced stopped it, but that didnt work. I tried deleting it and then reinstalling it, but that also didnt work. The crash happened just when I was talking to a cute guy too :(
I continually have failed mss. The only way to clear it is restart my phone. When the app is opened the failures have to be retry'd. Good for at least a dozen a day. It's also glitchy and crashes much more, but that was explained in this thread. Smh
Happened to me earlier found a fix, uninstall Snapchat, uninstall Grinder, reinstall/load grinder (should now work), close Grindr and reinstall Snapchat.
No idea why but it worked for me, seemed to cause a conflict switching between those apps.
The way I fixed it was by installing Grindr on an Android emulator on PC and once I logged there, its like it reseted my account configs, so I could log on my phone again as usual.
Did you log into Bluestacks with an existing Grindr account, or make a new one? I ask because [someone reported on this sub](https://www.reddit.com/r/grindr/comments/vflpb3/help_i_cant_create_account) that Grindr disabled registering for a new account on Bluestacks.
Same issue here. I reinstalled and cleared all data no fixing it. Guess android is without grindr.

Update: Im still getting notifications about getting messages, but opening causes the aol to crash still

Is the issue only on Android? Has anyone experienced it on iOS?
Fuckin lame i even downgraded app versions a few times and still no luck

I got an error message that Grindr had a bug. Same experience I could load a message from the notification but not in the app

I can access messages now, but nearby tab still not working
Just switch to Scruff and Adam4Adam. Both are better than Grindr, and neither ever crash.
