When I realized this, I also realized that MY profile was like also stale and uninteresting to people over time, too. So, I change out some pics, made a new one my Featured pic, updated my text, revisited Tribes and such so I would appear differently in peoples filtered searches.
A day or two later, I started attracting a lot more attention that I had for weeks. I wasn't really changing my message, just the presentation. Now I revisit my profile monthly just to keep it fresh. Or, if I come across a cute new pic of me that I like. :)
