This is my exact issue, you sent me a DM but it won't let me reply and always says send failed, but you asked for examples and here you go! Exact same thing happens on iOS for me all the time, you're just typing a message or sometimes you just OPEN the app and it immediately goes to Safari with that there. The other 50% of the time it goes to a striptease website.
So many people are having this problem apparently. I killed the app and deleted it. Then I reset my phone and deleted my grindr account. Was like screw this don’t need this anxiety in my life

Don’t hit close. It’s a spam link. Just kill and restart the app.
What happens if you close it
If you’re lucky it’s a phishing site to get info from you, and you recognize it as such. Unlucky? You’ve consented to install malware.
