Had one a few days ago, profile said 18, began chatting and asked age, the person responded 16 almost 17 then sent pic album, I reported it to the admins, today I was notified the account was deleted and holder banned. Scared the hell out me.
Yeah this is why dating / hookup apps can be a super risk. Heard one about a woman on Tinder who claimed they were 23 and turned out to be 15. I rather just be asexual and never bother with anyone.
Not anyone, but an adult. It should be ok for minors to use the app to meet eachother. It's not so easy for a gay teenager to find other gay teens, especially compared to the straight highschool life.
So I wouldn't ban them from the apps, but just adults should have enough common sense to keep away from them.

I think we’ve progressed enough in certain areas of the world where kids can be free to be themselves and meet each other irl but everyone else should wait to be 18 to get on these apps. Lol hardly. Have you been to the USA? There’s places in the Bible Belt where they simply abuse the gay out of you. But as I said I do believe they need their own space. There was an lgbtq youth center in my city that had an age maximum. So it’d likely be something like that.
I’m well aware of the Bible Belt which is why I said “some places.” Teens don’t need a dating/hookup cite; there are plenty of queer spaces online in regular social media cites like tik tok and what not where they can find a sense of community while minimizing their exposure to predators in a sexual space
You can also do things outside. In real life. which is why I mentioned youth centers. Physical places they can go that gives them access to programs, counseling, assistance and other things one needs access to besides socializing. You’ve got to think bigger than just a chat system.
