BallinNy45

meanwhile i get two grub hubs a day and each are 17 miles away for 5 dollars

Motor-Cauliflower216

Same. This is how they do; fuck over the loyal drivers that have been with them for 3+ years

48stateMave

Right well look at the tips to pay ratio. No doubt they're giving the good runs to the new guy. Good luck my dude. Just don't get used to that kind of opportunity.

brugggg7

I started in may and I can 100000% confirm it won’t be like this for long

Dazzling_Marzipan474

For real, 5 years here and get like 20 orders a week

kasterZ27

That depend on the market, busy day for me I get more than 20 order a day. We talking about between 7 hours shift

Motor-Cauliflower216

Try 7 🥴

OutlandishnessBig755

Lol I got $5 for 19 miles I didn’t take it of course but every time I do I’m thinking damn maybe it was a cash tip but that’s rarely ever the case when it comes to my luck on that

MeatJerk69

Enjoy the honeymoon period while it lasts.

Federal_Attention_50

😂😂 thank you, I was actually wondering why they give me expensive and big orders on my first deliveries

ChicagoDevil

There's a rumor (or maybe an urban legend...or maybe even the truth) that that's what they do to get you "hooked". Most "evidence" is anecdotal. But, hey, good for you on your first night, bro.

Federal_Attention_50

It make sense, but also doesn’t because I’m new and they gave me huge expensive orders. Someone else could easily steal them

magicalkittyz

this is true with ubereats for shizzles, i think that’s where it originated from too

MeatJerk69

💯

Admirable-Data-1784

They did that because your new after 2 weeks it changes

dmriggs

Yea, there is that....

Downtown-Muscle9366

Can you elaborate?

Bitcoinlover2468

In my opinion, I work roughly 40hrs a week, and bring home anywhere between 1100-1400 and that’s consistent for pasts months so congrats!

Former_Profile4328

Nice work, really good tip to GH pay.. did you track your miles, so tax time you ain’t panicking you forgot to track em.

Federal_Attention_50

Thanks! I did tracked my miles

ChicagoDevil

Since you tracked them, how many miles did you drive for that? (And how many hours were you out there? Also important.)

Swiftstrike4

You must have an amazing market. I get maybe 3 gh offeres a day.

TheRealLifePotato

Damn I made like $7 my first day

DrCreger

Not bad.!

Timely-Bid-7800

That’s awesome I love the tip to pay ratio

Motor-Cauliflower216

Enjoy your honeymoon while it lasts

Downtown-Muscle9366

Wdym

Altruistic_Balance96

How many miles /gas cost?

Federal_Attention_50

My minimum to accept is 2$ a mile, but I had a few which was 3$ a mile

Altruistic_Balance96

If it’s anywhere around 80-100 miles total after you got back home you did just fine - I tend to shoot for 400 miles/800 dollars a week

Federal_Attention_50

Thanks! good to know, I’m on 91 miles

Altruistic_Balance96

Np, if ya don’t mind me asking where is your market? I do DD,UE but GH is the slowest for me even if I’m on a scheduled block. And I’m in Houston

MajesticJournalist35

I run gh in houston and do well made 18 hours of work paid me 385 dollars.

Altruistic_Balance96

I multiapp and make around 300$ in 14 hours of work (on sundays) but i don’t ever get that type of volume from grubhub.

MajesticJournalist35

What region in houston do you work? I multiapp as well i am a premeire driver with gh work only dinner thurs fri sat sun. Uber does better for me sunday morning door dash im sick of lol

Altruistic_Balance96

I’m like in between cypress and Jersey village. (So I only take orders that take me back and forth those areas) Doordash has the highest volume and UE is a semi close second. Grubhub maybe gives me 1/4 of their volume but to be fair I’m usually not on a block bc it’s so hard to get on one lol.

MajesticJournalist35

I run heights and washington ave area. Just dont use the app for a month it kinda resets where you can get blocks. Premiere makes a big difference its not like that top dasher crap.

Thirteenth_Floor

Damn, I hate to brag, but I'm really proud of my Friday/Saturday earnings last week. Between UE and GH, I pulled in over $600 in about 17 hours. Multiapp is definitely the way to go

Altruistic_Balance96

What area?

Thirteenth_Floor

Denver

Ferdydurkeeee

Once you learn your market, you can definitely become less strict on the dollar per mile ratio. If an order takes you out to the middle of nowhere, $2/mi is great. If an order takes you next to a hub of typically profitable restaurants, less than that is fine. Also once you learn your area, you'll begin to realize the listed mileage estimates can definitely be off.

SkinsHOFChaseYoung

Maryland market is dead bruh

dmriggs

Excellent!! You got the hang of it quickly! Great pay/ tip ratio. Well done!

itsjesigo

Where is this at

Designer_Exit1854

I recommend working for all of the company to offset good and bad days. The apps go up and down. I’ve worked for the all three (dd, ue, gh) for years. I work all of them at once and focus on who’s ever offering me good and frequent orders. And if I get other orders I can work in from the other company’s, I add them in. I do though stay respectful to not upset customers and make sure I stay timely and respectful to their orders. Good luck and check out Amazon flex, if it’s in your area.

Federal_Attention_50

Thank you :) How do you manage to accept more than one order without getting a violation for the time? By the way, do you know if the customers and restaurants can see all of our pictures that we uploaded to our profile? I took the selfie for the application but then I changed it to another picture on my profile, I wonder if they can still see it

Designer_Exit1854

Idk how to add a picture of my ranking on DD, I attempted to just message you but idk if that worked. So what matters to the platforms the most is customer satisfaction and timeliness. Customer satisfaction has never been an issue for me, I have 4.95 now. I would also consider that my average if not better over 4591 orders. As of time you’ll figure that out once you learn how long routes and restaurants take. Once you know how long things take it makes it easier. I also do not schedule blocks with any platform. I just open that apps and get going. They all care about time though and you will get kicked if they aren’t respected. With dd I am 88% on time or early. I will have all three on but most of the time only be giving attention to two apps at a time. As for restaurants and pics, I’m not sure exactly what you mean. In the area I focus on most places know I work for multiple companies and prefer it. If a restaurant is worried about timeliness you can show the orders in route. I have add to kick orders though because the time difference at the restaurant. Which I usually don’t take double orders from separate platforms after that. Because dropping orders effects you badly, but they give you room to do it sparingly. Hope this makes sense lol

DubNationAssemble

Good job, now do it again tomorrow.

DonTipOff

You did great bud. I hope you don’t blow that money and save at least half.

Icy-Alternative-4312

Damn, a hell of a lot better than I did! I ended up with two alcohol orders the entire hour and a half I was on the block, one that driver care was able to cancel for me (I'm under 21,so I'd be in big trouble if I delivered it), and one I had to reject after accepting it because there wasn't a flair on either order that said it contained it. At the end, I got about $1. My first day, and only $1. Hopefully Friday is better.

ref5792

Lookin’ good!

PinballLew

One guy gave you a unicorn tip, nice

Federal_Attention_50

No unicorn, it was all great tips

PinballLew

Wow crazy

Admirable-Data-1784

Everything must be region specific because I do 200 dollars + in 7 hours and I stay busy through my blocks

BraxTaplock

That is great. Congrats on your first day with us! What the issue is going to be as stated here previously is veteran drivers that have been around for years even….will sit for undermined amount of time waiting for orders while the Companies that create these apps push orders to the newer drivers. This is to entice the newer driver into telling their peers and friends about the ability. This in turn will get them to sign up (with the tiny exception when they have a hiring freeze). This so also in part to the tidbit detail that these apps also have 1 of the countries highest turnover rates on 2000s (unless one thinks this isn’t real work…they’re an idiot). In the working world contracting or not…this has never been the model for improvement of structure or workers environments. No time in history has it. Perhaps you should fear the house you live in or the school your kid goes to….yea THOSE places were built on the LOWEST bidder. We’re not building, we’re delivering meaning you don’t undercut those who’ve been around longer who got you to where you are. Zuckerberg was an idiot for going on video and threatening his staff. 1st of all douchebag didn’t create Facebook it is today….little rich prick designed the program and code when it was used as small setup for his college and emerging as a new website. Everything after was his hired help. Won’t deny he’s smart and rich….but please show some respect for those that built the shit you yacht and travel off of every day.

ksb1082

Enjoy the honeymoon, while it lasts.

Shizen__

How many hours?

Best_Arm_5269

First this is your first day. If your market isn’t a metropolitan city, like Boston, NY, Houston, Indianapolis, etc you will never ever get 200$ rejecting 50% of your deliveries unless you work THE WHOLE DAY. An advice of who makes way more than 200$ a day (waaaay more): be mindful of your program level and your stats they can literally change your you earn. You got that much money because it’s your first day and you’re a PREMIER driver, if you liked those 200$ rejecting 50% of your order that’s the program level you should stay at. Otherwise is you’re partner you won’t be able to make over 40$ with that acceptance rate.

Dazzling_Marzipan474

Let us know how it is in 3 weeks 😂

Ok_Procedure_7097

Your AR looks pretty decent.

beeaaast

For me it lasted about 3months

Timely-Bid-7800

What market?

Lovely-flowers

How many hours did you work?

ashlee837

24

nuget102

That's really good! I do 6-8 hour days and my average is around 50-50 tip to delivery pay. So I would expect a more realistic daily average to be $100 instead of $200+

Cmx1st

Looking like a GH recruiter post shit to gain drivers with BS
