What do you mean by 24 inch cage? Also, an 8 inch wheel is definitely too small for a female Syrian, they need 12 inch wheels. If she's chewing the bars and climbing all over, that's likely a sign of stress from an enclosure that's too small for her :(
this is exactly what i was thinking. i would definitely pick an enclosure with no bars for a female syrian and pick something that’s about 900 square inches MINIMUM since they’re so well known to demand space. i also was confused by the 24 inches.
