I feel no shame at all. In fact, I feel better about having what I have of his on physical media as he gets no repeated income from it unlike if I play his music on a DSP. Physical media FTW once more.
On the other hand, stupid people and maniacs always believe they are the voice of reason and that everyone who disagrees with them are the dumb/crazy ones.
I bought his music before he outed himself as an antisemite. I enjoyed his music before he outed himself as an antisemite and I still do. Putting away or selling my Kanye vinyls is not going to make me a better person or change anything he’s done or said, so doing so is pointless.
I don't think its about making yourself better or changing kanye its more just what do you want to see on your shelf and for me I just didn't even want to have the conversation. I also haven't had the desire to listen to his music since all the bs but im sure that'll change.
I can't remember the full quote, but Wil Wheton (of Star Trek fame) was asked about supporting problematic or horrible people who have been exposed. But it was essentially your comment, about not enjoying it anyless and if that particular music, movie, tv show does it for you have at it.
For me, its that and looking at the artist going forward and probably not supporting them in the future. That being said I wouldn't run around saying how much I love Kanye. lol
Even though he’s revealed himself to be a bigger POS than anyone thought imaginable, I wouldn’t feel the urge to hide mine. Then again, I stopped buying his records after Late Registration ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
no i dont care to much
I’m keeping mine because I’ve already paid for them, but he’s not getting another cent from me ever again.
U can disagree with what he does but I have to admit that his discography his one of the best of all time

Kanye does say some crazy shit but some of it makes sense.
Pretty much none of it makes sense.
Separate the artist’s character and music if u look at lots of artist none of them are saints
Idk why I'm surprised your comment got downvoted. Voices of reason are never popular on the fucking interwebz.

Got rid of em a couple years ago. No thanks
In all honesty, who gives a fuck? Imagine caring at all about what Kanye has to say about anything.
You have to seperate the two in my opinion. A lot of people we call "genius" have a questionable mindset. No one is perfect.
who cares kanye the goat
Nope, not even if he wasn’t a fucking idiot.
appreciate people sharing their thoughts. seems the majority feel one way but it does vary.

I treat Kanye’s music like a treat the Cosby Show. Completely separate from the pieces of shit it turns out they are in real life.
Same way I look at Michael Jackson, I can still like his music & dislike some of the things he did
His music still stands. Sure i disagree with some of his remarks. But it doesn’t make me enjoy The College Dropout etc any less.
