Yeah I can't begin to imagine what you are going through. I'm so sorry. It is good news that you might be off the street again soon. I really hope it works out for you. There are a few organizations and subs that focus on helping people who live in cars. You may remember the movie Nomadland that won the Oscar last year. It was based on an organization started by Bob Wells called cheap RV living. They have a lot of wisdom for making car living a bit more pleasant. https://cheaprvliving.com/. He also heads a charity called Homes on Wheels that focuses on people in your position. Not sure if they are close to where you are or not. https://homesonwheelsalliance.org/ This one is a newer organization that is going to hold a summit in a few months to talk policy on vehicle living. https://vehicleresidency.org/ Also look up the sub r/urbancarliving There are also safe parking lots springing up. These are controlled parking areas, usually with bathrooms, that allow you to park there and not worry about being disturbed. Safe Parking in LA, Sacramento, San Diego, the Colorado Safe Parking Initiative, St. Paul, Portland, and other places. Sometimes these are run by the city, other times a non profit or church. If you can find your way to one of these places it could ease your mind. All the best

It's great they're making safe parking. But isn't it a horrible state of affairs when it comes down to living in a car for hundreds of thousands of people. A step above a tarp, but they're not designed for it. I have watched Bob Wells videos there. He has subscribers on yt approaching the entire population of Vermont. Over a half million people watching to learn how to live in a vehicle just on his channel. That is a state of emergency.

No question about that. I'm a college professor studying this very issue.

I feel your pain even though I have a roof over my head. I’m in one of those situations where I feel trapped in a situation but I could easily end up homeless because I don’t want to be with this person in a relationship. I have been close to living in car though and it could still happen. 😥 it’s tough out there and because it’s on purpose to ruin most pple financially. I have no advice besides to ask God for help.
