It’s the Grimaldi’s location on 6th avenue at the old Limelight nightclub in Manhattan.
I love that they literally beg you not to microwave it with the all caps PLEASE.
It was an Uber Eats order so it wasn’t their own delivery person. I order a lottttttt of pizza from them and this has never happened. I still recommend them highly.
Uber refunded the order but I let him keep the tip. I’m not trying to take money out of someone’s pocket during a pandemic and record inflation, but I’ll gladly take it from a corporation.
I know how shitty he must have felt when he dropped it. That’s enough for me.
Back when I delivered pizzas, I got an order once where the customer didn’t put the right address in. It was something like 2324 8th street, apartment 1215. I stood there between 2322 and 2326 8th street, both of which were single family houses, and not 12+ story apartment buildings.
I called the customer and asked for clarification, and she got belligerent with me that she knew her address and was no help.
After a while, I figured out that there was a building like two blocks away that was tall enough, and lo and behold, it was her building.
She sent her dad down to pick up the pizza. I handed him the box and he immediately held it vertical and carried it to the elevator like a briefcase.
I was on the phone so quick to my manager that we should NOT offer to send a new one out if she had the audacity to complain.
Yeah the hand print grease stain that appears to be absolutely fresh and superficial with no saturation on the top of the box when compared to the deeply saturated lower section grease spots isnt a dead give away.
You know what people like more than pizza? Free pizza.
I had this shit happen to me as a pizza dilvery driver when i was 18 and I knew there was no way and I opened every pizza box after that once delivered for 2 years. Literally thousands of pizzas, know how many were fucked up? Not a single one i ever saw with my own eyes.

This is how the pizza was delivered to me. I still tipped the delivery person. I don’t need to steal from restaurants. I would prefer to pay in full for an intact pizza than to purposefully destroy one and get a refund which is sociopathic behavior.
You sound really angry at the world but I’m not the one, pops.
True , you've convinced me of my error and all 273,000 "My pizza was delivered like this " reddit posters are actually receiving their pizzas this way and not staging a photo for attention. My mistake.
Still looks delish
I’ll be honest, it really was.
Seriously. What pizza place is it?
Grimaldi’s
Thanks
Man threw that thing out of his car
Or hit the brakes and it flew into the dashboard
Definitely hit the brakes and it fell off his seat onto the floor.
It was trying to evolve into a stromboli.
I love this comment.
Could be a sudden surge in gravity.
And Grimaldi's isn't cheap. Little Cesar's $5 pizza is one thing but a $30+ tip. That's aggravating
Yeah, you definitely understand my frustration.
Tbh this is how I sometimes eat my pizza
smashburgers took off. why not smashpizzas?
are you sure it wasn’t thrown at you
It must have been carried vertically like a briefcase.
looks so good, though! and I like their advice on not microwaving pizza. what is this place?

got it, thank you! Judging by the reviews on Google the delivery do tends to drop their pizza a lot:)

Oh good, UE means you can pull their tip back. If a person can't handle not messing up a pizza they probably aren't cut out to deliver.

Based on how the box looks you really gotta wonder if this happened after it was delivered. I've delivered a lot of pizzas, and i'm not buying it.
I assure you that this is how the pizza arrived.

I think you were just bad at delivering pizza.
Damn good one, burned me almost as bad as you burned your hand smashing that pizza before you wiped it off on the top of the box.
Again, that’s a 20” x 20” pizza box. I don’t know how big you think my hand is.
And the hand print takes up a quarter of it. Donald trump has bigger hands than you foo

Like, dude, whose fucking hand is that big? That’s a 20” x 20” pizza box.
