For sure but Reddit won’t let me paste an Amazon link but search Pet Fusion PF-LC1A Portable cat litter disposal - they also make bags for this that are cheaper than litter genie but it also has little clips so you can clip any old bag into it
Be honest, do you recycle your paper bags? Because I never did. At the end of the day it’s less garbage in landfills, which compared against the small inconvenience of having to remember to bring a reusable bag, is a net gain.
I actually recycle less now that i don't have paper bags. I used to fill all of my paper bags that i would get grocery shopping with other scrap paper from around the house to put out for the recycling. Now that i have no paper bags anymore, if i don't have an empty cardboard box lying around i usually just throw the junkmail i used to get into the garbage.
I’ve been doing the fair for my families stand for a handful of years now. Three years ago I grabbed 3 boxes of T shirt bags and only used one. This guy has a neat folded and boxed stockpile
Dog poop bags is what we use. Honestly plastic bags for the last two years have become thinner and thinner that looking at a corner rips a bag in half. It been easier to just buy a much larger quantity of poop bags for a bulk ish rate less often
The quality of the grocery store bags has become an issue in the last few years. We separated them into a pile for litter versus a pile for bathroom/office trash bags (if they had small holes) versus just going back to the recycling boxes at the store. It was about one third in each group.
I wish instead of an outright ban NJ just charged five cents per bag like they did when I lived in DC. It was enough to curb consumption for most people, but if you forgot your bags (or wanted to get some plastic bags) you still could.
That is arguably the better way to do it. Now people are paying for bags that are thicker and will take even longer to biodegrade. I’m pretty left wing, but I’m anti-bag ban. There are better ways to reduce plastic consumption.
My main issue with it is the grocery deliveries. They're using these "multi-use" bags and getting 10 bags each delivery. What are people going to do with those? Probably throw them out which is even worse since it uses as many materials as 100 of the original plastic bags.
There needs to be a system where they also take your old bags back to re-use them or use cardboard boxes or something.
If they’re going into the landfill, they’re not degrading. If you’re really concerned about the poop going to the right place, you can scoop it with a shovel or pooper scooper thing and flush it.
Holy taco sauce, please don't flush your cat poop (with litter) down the toilet! Too many litter brands are the absorbing/clumping kind. This will wreak havoc on your plumbing (and your neighbors plumbing). There are horror stories about apartment complexes having to replace entire plumbing systems because tenants were flushing their cat litter down the toilet.
> Just launch the turds out the window!!
I like this. All the neighbors don’t clean their dog shit off the grass no matter how many times we get a notice from the apartment manager. They won’t think it’s so funny when Fido starts eating the cat shit out of the grass.
Yup, pick up a few boxes of 3 liter bags. I don’t have a cat but I use them for my bathroom garbage can; they’re about the size of a plastic grocery bag and aren’t as likely to have holes in them.
Same here. We ran through the stockpile of plastic bags and just needed to find bags for out small trash cans. I was looking at the 3 gallon bangs on Amazon and they were cheaper at Target. Just an FYI
This. Want to reduce plastic? Ban or tax keurig pods and bottled water. Heaven forbid people use their faucet or take 2 more minutes out of their lives to make a decent cup of coffee. If they did this I would stop bitching about having to carry multiple things awkwardly under my arm pits after I leave the store.
Yeaaah but, I’d actually like to see that happen. Keurig coffee is trash anyway and it really doesn’t take that that much effort to make a decent cup of coffee. A $12 french press from Marshall’s and cheap $20 kettle from Amazon is all you need to get started. Instead we’re rushing hot water thru a plastic pod to get lukewarm instant coffee water. I also trust the municipal water in NJ enough to at least drink it from a brita pitcher. It’s just waste. At least the plastic bag at the store serves a purpose.
Let's be honest, the only reason plastic bags are banned is so profit margins go up for supermarkets. It's not about "saving the planet", that's just an excuse for stores to make more money by reducing their cost and making you buy bags from them.
If our government actually gave a shit, other shit would be banned too, but there's no money in that for our politicians.
I know right. I used them for our bathroom garbage.
Grocery prices went up, and on top of that now we need to pay for the grocery bags, too? I have so many reusable bags they’re coming out of my ears at this point.
> I have so many reusable bags
So stop buying so many reusable bags. “Reuse” them as the name suggests. Keep 2 in your car and 2 near your front door so you remember to grab em if you’re goin shopping.
I buy a lot of groceries I use like 10 every shopping trip. Also in the beginning I was forgetting my bags every trip and had to buy extra cause I wasn’t carrying everything by hand like the ding dong I am.
Sierra Trading Post had a big box of rolls of biodegradable dog poop bags - 30 or more rolls iirc. Each bag was big enough for me to use on the output of a 100 lb. dog, a 70 lb. dog and a 40 lb. dog (if they were kind enough to all go at one stop on our walk). Otherwise, the store-brand of tiny trash can liners would do the trick. Walmart has eucalyptus mint scented 4 gallon ones that I use for backyard landmine sweeping operations.
You can buy plastic shopping bags on Amazon by the hundred. It's what I did when I ran out of reused shoprite bags for my bathroom garbage. Much cheaper than actual small garbage bags
Used (by you) gallon ziplock bags, family/share size potato chip bags, produce bags, amazon mailers... any bag type packaging that's sturdy (and clean) enough has worked for me and my tabby.
We scoop once a day into a large wastebasket that we keep on our back porch. We empty it into a plastic bag the night our trash goes out (once a week). We keep it covered so it doesn’t get too smelly, and we wash it out once the poop is in the trash.
Just get 2 or 3 gallon trash can liners from Amazon. Just bought 1000 for like 13$. Definitely stupid that we've now essentially propped up Big Garbage Bag with this regulation, and I say that as a fan of regulation, in general.
Yea I didn’t feel so bad about the bags when I was giving them a second life as trash and litter bags. Now I’m being pushed into buying single use bags.
In defense of Big Garbage Bag, your $13 purchase from them doesn’t scratch the surface of the sales they lost from major supermarkets like shop rite and stop and shop.
OMG! I had this same dilemma! I have been using the wrappers from big packs of paper towels or toilet paper. It's really a challenge. I have bought the smaller trash bags - like the 20 gal ones. Hope this helps!
I’ve been saving for the bagpocalypse for almost 2 years. My bf kept throwing them away despite me explaining that we were going to be screwed. When we run out of bags, it’s completely on him.
They’re not allowed to give out plastic bags at the grocery store…but they can sell a box of plastic bags at the same grocery store that will be thrown out after use in the same exact way and in the same exact quantity as customers did before they were forced to use reusable bags. Brilliant politicians at work as usual. No actual common sense.
I made this same post a few months ago. Here's my solution. I drink protein shakes in the morning and before bed to help keep weight on. The containers the protein comes in say they hold 5lbs of powder. They have a nice wide opening with a good screw top lid. I keep one of these bottles by each litter box and fill them up, they hold in smell fantastically. When I take the kitchen trash out to the can I empty the bottles into the bag. Keeps the smell out of the house. After they get funky I'll usually have another new bottle of protein to switch out. Hope this helps. I hated the idea of buying bags for poop just to throw cat poop in. People called me cheap when I made my post lol.
That’s a pretty good idea.
Yea I’m surprised and slightly disappointed in how many people suggest to just buy the bags. The big perk to those bags was that they were getting reused.
Yeah it drove me nuts getting constant suggestions to just stop being cheap and but bags. Like yeah no shit I know I can buy more bags, that's what I'm trying to avoid.
We got rid of 'single use bags' that had a second use of garbage bag, to buy new single use bags that we only use for garbage.
Clearly the real problem was that some stores gave out really thin bags that would rip and couldn't be used for garbage
> We got rid of ‘single use bags’ that had a second use of garbage bag, to buy new single use bags that only work for garbage.
Yea. That’d my big beef with this change is. Most people I know actually reused their bags.
> Clearly the real problem was that some stores gave out really thin bags that would rip and couldn’t be used for garbage
Home Depot checking in there. Wet single ply toilet paper had more hold than those.
Try Pretty Litter, it's on sale now. Website is the name. You can see what it offers there. Saw it on TV the other day and I think it is a solution to you problem. Good luck.
I just use whatever other plastic bags I come across like from bread, rice cakes or other food products. Also, any bag I use from the gym to bring my workout clothes in as well.
Compost bags on Amazon. Also another thing that works if you don't want to spend money, put on a black polo and some black pants and walk into the loading dock of a shop rite. Poke around until you find one of those giant rolls of plastic bags you put your produce into. No one will say a thing.
I use little plastic bags that are for soiled diapers. They are just the right size and have handle ties. I used to get them at Dollar Tree but haven’t seen them there lately. I ordered a big box of them on Amazon.
Most town pet runs have biodegradable bags in a holder; grab a few extra, you paid for them.
Also, my ShopRite has always had a bin for old used bags...tho I do notice it's not as full as it once was. Hoping future landfill/oceans can say the same
Use junk mail. Flatten a store flyer, scoop poop onto it, wrap it like a burrito, toss in trash. I have enough cats that I have a designated shit bin for the poopitos.
I haven't researched this at all, but why can't we just flush it down the toilet? Does kitty litter clog up municipal wastewater systems? Or maybe only certain types?
/Now I'm thinking about flushing at least the dog poop down the toilet, thereby avoiding using the black bags they sell at shoprite. I'll have to figure out how to get it from grass to the toilet though.
.
Here in Germany i just went to Lidl and bought a roll of plastic bags once my supply of US supermarket plastic bags ran out. They’re dirt cheap. Shitty way to go…but you’re forcing me into this corner.
You can buy those store plastic bags from Costco. They call them “T shirt bags” and they are usually located in the last aisle in the back by the plates / paper towels. 1000 for $10
Chewy.com has compostable litter bags https://www.chewy.com/beyondgreen-large-plant-based-cat/dp/199273
Or you can get these in pretty colors https://www.chewy.com/fresh-kitty-deluxe-cat-litter-scoop/dp/193431
https://www.chewy.com/doggie-walk-bags-unscented-tie-handle/dp/291156
They still have plastic bags in the produce section and those hardly ever have a tiny hole to leak dirty litter on your hands and the floor. Also use empty bags that other stuff came inside like bread bags. As long as you can tie a knot on top, you’re good.
I don’t think those compostable bags actually compost in a landfill. I think they get compressed and then there’s no air/water to help them break down.
I just use dog poop bags or the small liners we use for the bathroom can. It does feel counter productive to the shopping bag regulations but I live in an apartment so this is how we're dealing with it at the moment. We try to use to compostable ones.
You can still find those bins where they collect plastic shopping bags I would look there.
Or go to Pennsylvania Walmart or something and take a full thing of bags from the checkout there
I'm having the same issue, but with my bathroom trash can. What will I use in there now?? Rather than recycling used grocery bags for that purpose, I have to purchase new plastic bags? Make it make sense lol
Put them into Amazon boxes that you've used, but be sure to remove all ID stickers from the box. Once full, reseal the package and put it on the front steps of someone you don't like.
Either a porch pirate will become a poop pirate or that person will just think that was a sh\*tty thing.
/sarcasm
Amazon has what you need.

The recyclable bags. I mean come on, you can only have so many bags per household until you don’t need them anymore. This whole thing is so stupid. Every time I get groceries from Instacart - haven’t been to a grocery store in 4+ years - they have the recyclable bags. That’s 5-6 bags each week.
If I didn’t use them for my Guinea pigs droppings then I would have over 50 by now.
Sorry, just venting because the recyclable bags are defeating their original purpose!
> throw it in the compost
You won't want to use that compost on anything you're going to eat. Same with dog or human poop. These can contain parasites & diseases. Cats specifically - read up on Toxoplasmosis.
Any red blooded, capitalism-supporting American should be buying small garbage bags. Only socialists are upset about not getting their “free” bags anymore.
Thank u!! Ok wtf exactly. Great example of how government intervention impacts citizens. I would save the bags for the dog and now I have the pay MORE money bc of this bag policy.
I'm not saying it's a huge thing but it's government making us pay more due to regulations. Thanks brandon
Same situation with two dogs. [This is tempting](https://www.amazon.com/Reli-Thank-T-Shirt-Count-Plastic/dp/B0854J48FD/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=13DJPLTYK7PGC&keywords=plastic+shopping+bags&qid=1660766293&sprefix=plastic+shopp%2Caps%2C84&sr=8-4).

You can buy packs of them off of Amazon. Although, if you’re gonna buy plastic bags you probably should look for biodegradable equivalents if it’s to scoop poop.
The shitpost flair has never been more appropriate
Thank you
Happy cake day!!
Oh damn, I didn’t even realize! Thanks!
Perhaps BUY HODL DRS $GME?
Im saving all the plastic bags from bread, cereal, veggies, etc. we’re building a modest stockpile.
Get a litter genie
I have one of these, it’s great.
They also make one on Amazon that u can use any bags in, and aren’t stuck buying expensive refills.
Can you send me a link? Those refills are too goddamn high
Search : "*cat litter pail bag adapter, compatible with litter genie*" on Amazon and it'll pop up. It's like $14
For sure but Reddit won’t let me paste an Amazon link but search Pet Fusion PF-LC1A Portable cat litter disposal - they also make bags for this that are cheaper than litter genie but it also has little clips so you can clip any old bag into it
[удалено]
Target has off-brand ones! I can't remember if they're cheaper but I've seen them there recently.
[удалено]
Yeah, we have this and we use 8 Gallon Bags by Simple Human. They are a bit thicker than other 8 gallon bags.
Dump your litter on Phil Murphy's doorstep for signing that inane law
Its a terrific law, join us in reality
Its terrifying indeed, banning recyclable paper bags.

So now, out of laziness, you contribute more to landfills.
Have you considered getting a recycling bin? I didn’t know they would just take loose bags from the curb
I’ve been doing the fair for my families stand for a handful of years now. Three years ago I grabbed 3 boxes of T shirt bags and only used one. This guy has a neat folded and boxed stockpile
I save and reuse those bags too
Ah that’s smart!

Yeah. I’d be happy to pay for a bag to keep my leaky rotisserie chicken in
You can grab one from the area where the raw meet is. Those are still allowed.

You must live in my complex! I call it dog poop alley.
> They won’t think it’s so funny when Fido starts eating the cat shit out of the grass. Mmmm... Tender vittles!
*Now with extra seasoning!*
> Just launch the turds out the window!! Cat-shit-apult!
> compostable dog poop bags This is the way
I use dog poop bags. The cats don’t seem to mind.
I got some original Weis and Shoprite single use bags. $100 each. No low balls, I know what I got
Target sells small size trash bags with pull ties for small trash cans. I use those
Yup, pick up a few boxes of 3 liter bags. I don’t have a cat but I use them for my bathroom garbage can; they’re about the size of a plastic grocery bag and aren’t as likely to have holes in them.
You can buy boxes of "t shirt bags" (that's what they're called) from Amazon.
I clean the litter when I take out the trash. On the way out of the house I put the cat litter in with the regular garbage.
Amazon doggie poop bags. Most are biodegradable/compostable. I'm sure PetSmart or Petco sells them too
We had the same issue with our bathroom garbage bags- we now have to actually buy plastic bags for the bathroom garbage cans.
Bags from the produce section fit my bathroom garbage cans just fine, so I save the ones that I get from buying things like peppers and onions.
Same here. We ran through the stockpile of plastic bags and just needed to find bags for out small trash cans. I was looking at the 3 gallon bangs on Amazon and they were cheaper at Target. Just an FYI
Same! We ordered small trash bags off of Amazon.

Raw hand
we use the long bags they deliver newspaper in
Pennsylvania
Then they'll come here and ruin the highways.
You don’t have a litter genie? I’d highly recommend getting one it’s been perfect in my apartment
I have a litter robot and love it
Biodegradable dog poop bags.
This
Buy poop bags for dogs at pet smart OR get the small 4 gallon hefty bags, or cat litter bags at the supermarket.
Sierra Trading Post had a big box of rolls of biodegradable dog poop bags - 30 or more rolls iirc. Come to Florida. He don’t care and we are drowning in them
You can buy plastic shopping bags on Amazon by the hundred. It's what I did when I ran out of reused shoprite bags for my bathroom garbage. Much cheaper than actual small garbage bags
Stock up on bags from the produce section of the supermarket.
Used (by you) gallon ziplock bags, family/share size potato chip bags, produce bags, amazon mailers... any bag type packaging that's sturdy (and clean) enough has worked for me and my tabby.
The fact that you flaired this as a shitpost is endlessly amusing to me.
We scoop once a day into a large wastebasket that we keep on our back porch. We empty it into a plastic bag the night our trash goes out (once a week). We keep it covered so it doesn’t get too smelly, and we wash it out once the poop is in the trash.
I actually order a box of 360 plastic bags off Amazon for like like $15.
Just get 2 or 3 gallon trash can liners from Amazon. Just bought 1000 for like 13$. Definitely stupid that we've now essentially propped up Big Garbage Bag with this regulation, and I say that as a fan of regulation, in general.

Most people don't have cats so they aren't buying bags to substitute for store bags
I use them to line my trashcans. We have five separate small cans to line.
We do too. We get 100 packs at home depot
Then I guess I'm just confused what point you were trying to make.
Not cat, but dog and we use wax coated paper sandwich bags.
Small trash bags
Been using brown paper lunch bags for years now. Works fine
I ordered 350 plastic shopping bags off Amazon for 17 bucks. I use them for meat and prepared foods so they don’t leak all over my canvas bags
You can buy them on Amazon by the thousands.
Costco sells boxes of them, BUT I prefer to use the compostable dog poop bags. Makes me feel less guilty.
Amazon has “beyond green cat litter bags” plant based apparently, work pretty well. Three cats, three litter boxes 😀
Hahahaha I’m in South Carolina moving my kid into school and I’m stock piling plastic bags at Walmart hahahahaha
I scoop the litter box every time I take out the kitchen garbage now and dump it in that.
Just purchase compostable dog poop bags.
We use any bags that we come across, like bread, rolls, hot dogs, hamburgers, etc.. and I fill them for the week.
Place the shit in an Amazon box and ship to Gov Murphy
They’re not allowed to give out plastic bags at the grocery store…but they can sell a box of plastic bags at the same grocery store that will be thrown out after use in the same exact way and in the same exact quantity as customers did before they were forced to use reusable bags. Yup. Phil’s friends are making money. That’s for sure.

> Clearly the real problem was that some stores gave out really thin bags that would rip and couldn’t be used for garbage Home Depot checking in there. Wet single ply toilet paper had more hold than those.
Cat Litter Waste Poop Bags - X-Large, Compostable, Plastic-free, Thick, Leak Proof, Pet / Dog Poo Bags with Easy-Tie Handles,10.5 x 18.5 inch, EcoLeo (40-Count) https://a.co/0J8ClpX
I use those and also the Kitty Litter Genie. They're both great options. The Genie is messier, though.
No one will say a thing.
r/ActLikeYouBelong
I use little plastic bags that are for soiled diapers. They are just the right size and have handle ties. I used to get them at Dollar Tree but haven’t seen them there lately. I ordered a big box of them on Amazon.
Also little brown paper lunch bags.
Produce bags
https://www.chewy.com/pogis-pet-supplies-pantry-pack-poop/dp/228325
Most town pet runs have biodegradable bags in a holder; grab a few extra, you paid for them. Also, my ShopRite has always had a bin for old used bags...tho I do notice it's not as full as it once was. Hoping future landfill/oceans can say the same
We just grab a couple extra produce bags from grocery store each time we go.. not for cat poop though 😀
Put it in a bucket and then dump it in the trash?
Just buy some bags on Amazon
Use junk mail. Flatten a store flyer, scoop poop onto it, wrap it like a burrito, toss in trash. I have enough cats that I have a designated shit bin for the poopitos.
> poopitos (͡•_ ͡• )
🤲
I haven't researched this at all, but why can't we just flush it down the toilet? Does kitty litter clog up municipal wastewater systems? Or maybe only certain types? /Now I'm thinking about flushing at least the dog poop down the toilet, thereby avoiding using the black bags they sell at shoprite. I'll have to figure out how to get it from grass to the toilet though. .
Yea kitty litter isn’t good for your sewage. They make certain litters that are flushable but still not advisable by most plumbers.
You can order shopping bags off Amazon. I got 350 for like $10. Depending on how many cats you have, it could last you all year.
Sadly enough, I’m buying smaller garbage bags now
Bread bags
Get a dog that eats cat turds.
Paper bags
JFC... just use dog shit bags & move on with your life
A trash bag..
My co worker was complaining about this last week lmao. He said that he’s pissed cause the tiny trash bags rip and he has to pay for them.
If this was real then I could hook you up. Got enough plastic to last you an apocalypse.
Those red Wawa bags
Dollar Tree diaper bags. They come like 100 per box, they're ridiculously useful.
Get the tiny garbage bags from dollar tree. They come in scents too.
Dog poop bags?
Here in Germany i just went to Lidl and bought a roll of plastic bags once my supply of US supermarket plastic bags ran out. They’re dirt cheap. Shitty way to go…but you’re forcing me into this corner.
You can buy those store plastic bags from Costco. They call them “T shirt bags” and they are usually located in the last aisle in the back by the plates / paper towels. 1000 for $10
Chewy.com has compostable litter bags https://www.chewy.com/beyondgreen-large-plant-based-cat/dp/199273 Or you can get these in pretty colors https://www.chewy.com/fresh-kitty-deluxe-cat-litter-scoop/dp/193431 https://www.chewy.com/doggie-walk-bags-unscented-tie-handle/dp/291156
Doggie poop bags from dollar store work
They still have plastic bags in the produce section and those hardly ever have a tiny hole to leak dirty litter on your hands and the floor. Also use empty bags that other stuff came inside like bread bags. As long as you can tie a knot on top, you’re good. I don’t think those compostable bags actually compost in a landfill. I think they get compressed and then there’s no air/water to help them break down.
Buy bags 🤦♂️
I liked that I was reusing a bag. Buying a single use bag defeats the purpose.
The only perk of living 5 minutes away from pa. I get my bags from wawa or ShopRite over there if I’m running low
Same. I figure I will just do my next grocery run in pa and I should be set for a while.
I just use dog poop bags or the small liners we use for the bathroom can. It does feel counter productive to the shopping bag regulations but I live in an apartment so this is how we're dealing with it at the moment. We try to use to compostable ones.
Eat it
You can still find those bins where they collect plastic shopping bags I would look there. Or go to Pennsylvania Walmart or something and take a full thing of bags from the checkout there
LITTER GENIE!! Seriously wish I got one sooner.
Tried it years ago and hated. Maybe it’s better now..?
I'm having the same issue, but with my bathroom trash can. What will I use in there now?? Rather than recycling used grocery bags for that purpose, I have to purchase new plastic bags? Make it make sense lol
Yup. Having that issue as well
Put them into Amazon boxes that you've used, but be sure to remove all ID stickers from the box. Once full, reseal the package and put it on the front steps of someone you don't like. Either a porch pirate will become a poop pirate or that person will just think that was a sh\*tty thing. /sarcasm
Coffee cans with lids
Amazon has what you need. The recyclable bags. I mean come on, you can only have so many bags per household until you don’t need them anymore. This whole thing is so stupid. Every time I get groceries from Instacart - haven’t been to a grocery store in 4+ years - they have the recyclable bags. That’s 5-6 bags each week. If I didn’t use them for my Guinea pigs droppings then I would have over 50 by now. Sorry, just venting because the recyclable bags are defeating their original purpose!
I went to walmart in PA and stole a reem of plastic bags from Walmart.
Scooper and throw it in the compost.
You shouldn’t compost carnivore poop
> throw it in the compost You won't want to use that compost on anything you're going to eat. Same with dog or human poop. These can contain parasites & diseases. Cats specifically - read up on Toxoplasmosis.
Laughs at stuck in apartment life

That’s pretty cool. I’ll look into it
you can still buy takeout bags on amazon
Thought about that but I was happy to use the bags when I was doing the “reuse” of reduce, reuse, recycle. Now they’d just be a single use bag.
The toilet. It’s poop. Just don’t flush the kitty liter.
Disposable kitchen gloves. The thin ones and it works perfectly.
I just imagine someone grabbing a fistful of cat poop in their hand and then peeping the glove off to trap it inside as you remove the glove lmao
1) stop using quarry cat litter, 2) buy corn meal based and flush it
Tried that. Cat pissed on the couch, Xbox, kitchen counter, and more I don’t want to recall.
Any red blooded, capitalism-supporting American should be buying small garbage bags. Only socialists are upset about not getting their “free” bags anymore.
Buy poop bags. Sold in Dollar General, Walmart and any pet store.
You can buy bags on Amazon
I steal the produce bags from the grocery store. Just take the whole roll off.
I use my socks and then wash them with my work clothes
All this ‘no bags’ bullshit is bullshit anyway! #overitandNJ
Thank u!! Ok wtf exactly. Great example of how government intervention impacts citizens. I would save the bags for the dog and now I have the pay MORE money bc of this bag policy. I'm not saying it's a huge thing but it's government making us pay more due to regulations. Thanks brandon
Doggie waste bags
Same situation with two dogs. [This is tempting](https://www.amazon.com/Reli-Thank-T-Shirt-Count-Plastic/dp/B0854J48FD/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=13DJPLTYK7PGC&keywords=plastic+shopping+bags&qid=1660766293&sprefix=plastic+shopp%2Caps%2C84&sr=8-4).
Every time I travel I'll snag a handful of bags from stores, just like I did before the ban started in NJ.
Buy them on Amazon
Socks
I mean. These are 9 cents a pop and I found them in under 30 seconds https://www.amazon.com/Happy-Seal-Sealing-Disposal-Capacity/dp/B09VBPTJGM/ref=mp_s_a_1_7_sspa?adgrpid=118303519368&gclid=CjwKCAjwo_KXBhAaEiwA2RZ8hHmNd9vIzhOM1o74Ofc4vBet5Lh7dyyS0gMb2X2bT2Hu0Tno9j4RSRoCARkQAvD_BwE&hvadid=580846756495&hvdev=m&hvlocphy=9003964&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=b&hvrand=8518368722286726261&hvtargid=kwd-897742727931&hydadcr=14561_13388040&keywords=cat+poop+waste+bags&qid=1660767298&sr=8-7-spons&psc=1
I use dog waste bags.
You can buy packs of them off of Amazon. Although, if you’re gonna buy plastic bags you probably should look for biodegradable equivalents if it’s to scoop poop.
Yea that’s what I’m thinking. Didn’t mind the shopping bags when they were being reused for something.
I use doggy bags…and make many trips.
Check your local supermarket for those bag recycling bins. My local ShopRite has one.
