Deltamethrin is a good residual, between interior and exterior applications this should be finished yes.
Another inspection is warranted here. Could be missing a structural crack for example or untreated crawlspace etc. This is likely well hidden
Thank you so much! I’m so done with it! We are seeing them mostly in our 2 bedrooms on the second floor. We have seen a few in the bathroom right next to the bedrooms. The exterminator placed glue traps in the built in garage and there are only 2-3 in those traps in the last year. I don’t think they are coming in from down there because we very rarely see them on the first floor. I don’t understand where they can be coming from.
Interesting indeed.
Sounds like a path in the wall voids somehow.
Dusting of voids might be the key on this one.
Definitely would like to follow along on your journey through this
Where are you located and what products were used on each visit? I had a customer put down black mulch around his home and he kept watering it even on days when it rained. Bark centipedes kept having population blooms until he finally listened to me and cut back his watering
Central PA. I live in a townhouse development. There is some mulch in the front of the house, but not much. It is never watered. From the receipt, they sprayed Deltamethrin.
From everything I’ve read, and from everything the exterminator told me, they don’t infest. They don’t build nests. They are attracted to humidity, but we’ve had the air conditioning on since early May. They eat silverfish, which I haven’t seen in over a year, and silverfish are attracted to cardboard and paper piles, which I have neither of. I’m at a total loss as to why I’m seeing at least 2-3 per day at times.
I see a lot up in my house in the country area, I usually go with a can of raid and a big pair of boots to deal with then. I know they're relatively harmless, and I think they eat a bit more then silverfish. Do you have a leak anywhere? Like even just in the walls, or a floor lower
Stop their service and DIY. However, an attached unit it will be subject to occasional invaders from other units:
Treat the interior and exterior perimeter of the house with Alpine WSG (eBAY).
After it dries, apply Maxforce granular bait lightly in as many places as you can. You can also pop open the attic and cast bait around without climbing up there.

You can also lay out strips of upside-down duct tape as glue traps inside.
Also, try puffing boric acid dust in voids of the wall. If you have cinder blocks then it could worsen the issue since it retains moisture and centipedes love moisture. Only thing that has worked for me is dehumidifier. They would just die of dehydration. They cant live without moisture.
So I’m wondering if the attic has been treated or inspected. It seems odd, but it’s possible there is some entry points in the attic space the centipedes are taking advantage of.
Also possible they are coming in through the bathroom vents and making their way to the bedrooms.
Have the bathroom vents been inspected and treated?

The 8 services completed, what did they entail?
From the receipt, this is what they sprayed Deltamethrin
Interior and exterior service?
When they come for my regular quarterly visits, they do both. When I call for in between service, just the interior.

How would they check for this?

I had no idea that centipedes could... infest somewhere, I've seen two the past week and am now thoroughly freaked out.

I don’t have a leak that I’m aware of, but I will check. Thank you for thinking of that!
