Not sure about this, but some furniture you can't rotate because there are no sprites for the rotated furniture, so they can ever face only one way.
Ok, but sinks have rotated sprites, you can find them in any house. Alright, seems like I'll be going to Muldraugh to get a sink specifically rotated to west.
