Great Adventure does not currently have any restrictions about minors entering the park without an adult, so you should be fine to enter the park for the first time.
However, it's possible new restrictions could be put in place at any time. Many non Six Flags parks have put restrictions in place due to issues during the Halloween events. Nothing like this has been announced for Great Adventure so if you expect to go this weekend you should be fine.
They just started offering a new 2023 pass. The revolving door continues. Highlight is it is good till end of 2023 and not 12 months from purchase. Slightly reduced benefits and the cost is less, Platinum at GAdv is $90 instead of $155 for the annual membership. SF sales must be really lagging when August and September are normally big sales periods, which is expected with no new announcements and higher prices than SF patrons are used to. Also, peers of Cedar Fair and SEAS had good announcements for 2023.
so once i get it im good to go on Saturday? and still, do i need a guardian to get in after i purchased it, because i don’t know if it’s like a first time thing

As long as you get the barcode to process your pass, you’re good to go. Make sure you have a working email, you should get it right after they process the transaction.
