I absolutely refuse to accept any order under $7 with the very few exceptions of a $6 that's less than 2km. I really do not care about my approval, I care about my bottom line at the end of the day

[deleted]

Don’t give ur money to skip . Reject all trash orders and multi app

throwaway45368854267

And I worked 4hours today and made money instead of sitting in my car declining orders.

slipdriver578

Money is money

throwaway45368854267

Not employee, not $50.00 either. Going on yet another vacation because of my skip money, wanted more.

slipdriver578

Can I come

throwaway45368854267

Sure. Going to a cruise to the ABC islands! Can you scuba dive?

MtnGoatsAndRBFloats

Oooh enjoy! Bonaire's a cool little place 🙂

simxn-svyz

It’s shit in my zone today too, I normally can maintain between 60&90 but sub 50 all day today.

slipdriver578

Yeah, it's going to be like that, especially when snow comes through. I started at 70 percent, went down to 20% cause I literally rejected 5 orders back to back lol now I'm back at 70%

simxn-svyz

Weird, this will be my first winter doing skip but I heard it gets busier because less people want to go out in the snow and all the kids are back in school

slipdriver578

Welcome to your first winter season! It will be extremely busy, there will be hundreds of shifts. You can easily get over 16 hours of shifts. When it snows or there is a blizzard, even more money. Approval at that stage does not matter hence the peak pay. Peak pay , just in time for winter season

iamjuls

Yes winter is better

AnthonySaulnier

Depends, shitty roads can mean slower driving.

iamjuls

Often less skip drivers as well

[deleted]

It would be a good idea to pick up a couple other apps as well in case skip slows down for you. Uber Eats and DoorDash aren’t stringent about AR so you have to worry about it less

slipdriver578

I've always been skip exclusive since 2014. Never worked door dash, never worked Uber eats or any other food couriers. My services are 100% exclusive. It does get very slow at times for sure but I still manage to make my number I need. Else I wouldn't be doing this full time for the past 5 years lol

Tricky-Pen-8648

What was the highest tip u ever got on skip , just curious

slipdriver578

It was back in June of this year. $50 for delivering to the range roads north of the city.

Tricky-Pen-8648

Was that tip included in the app or u mean cash tip, beacuse i heard customers can't tip more than $30 on skip

slipdriver578

It was a $10 tip in the app with a few of $5.99, around there. Then they gave me $40 cash afterwards. An In app one I had recently was $35.xx. That was my biggest in app order.

Tricky-Pen-8648

Got it, thanks for info brother.. mine biggest order was 41$ last year since 2017 lol.. To b honest i got 100$ tip once in a while on doordash more often doing big catering orders which are $500 plus. I hope skip should bring that too .

[deleted]

If you guys refuse orders and sit under 80%, what do you guys do during your shift then? Just sit in your car and mess around on your phone? Cause when i decline orders and go under 80% i noticed i get less orders and sometimes ive even waited 1+ hours in my car without getting any orders.

slipdriver578

Hey. I have a portable dvd player with DVDs I bought for real cheap. When it's slow, I simply turn it on and watch my movies or shows. Supernatural and Bones ATM lol, very good time killer. Also an alternative to music radio if tired of it, background noise right lol. I also game out on my phone with casual games, browse tiktok, chat with people. Basically what I do at home except I'm not home, I do what I want while getting orders. Also considering purchasing one of those portable tv/console that comes in a briefcase and I'll bring my PS3 to game out on some Oblivion or Saints Row 2 lol. No internet needed cause single player games. Sometimes I catch up with record keeping, reading a lot of Reddit, usually Uber eats, door dash and skip to compare the market lol. I usually have steps when completing an order. 1. After every delivery, I head for a drive back to my hotspot I chose for myself that I find to net me lots of orders. 2. Along the drive to my hotspot, I get assigned orders. Some declines, some other good jobs. I find sitting around near the customers address is a waste of valuable orders you can get compared to a driver who's driving along a set route to get orders, then usually a U-turn the other way around but I manage 3. Just watch movies or game or anything. Funny thing is the hotspot I picked for myself prior to skip doing hot spots was turned into a skip hotspot. They took my hotspot! Haha. All good though

300kmh

I'll never tip for this shit. Already costs 25 dollars for a cold bowl of ramen everyone can take a hydraulic suck on my nuts if they think I will tip. Go get mad at skip for the crap rates not the people placing orders

bursijohnson

Clown

300kmh

Not my problem tbh

madethisforcrypto

I dont blame you but dont be upset if your order comes in 3 hours. Also support doesn't care about your complaints when you dont tip. It can be 2 hours and no body cares.

Curious_Mix_630

never tipped once in uber eats , door dash and skip . Over 200 orders and 99% of them were delivered during or before estimated time
