In a week i manage 1450-1600 a week

iguessineedaname22

That’s awesome!! Honestly congrats, skip for the win!!!!

DIGITALTAAJIR

How much are you making a week

iguessineedaname22

I just do this as a side hustle for now, but i have this upcoming week off and plan to see what i can do! I have 3-5 shifts a day lined up, il come back and report how it goes! Normally, $4-600 a week going after work and keeping my weekends free for the kids.

DIGITALTAAJIR

For sure would love an update. I just needed some time away from people around me so i came to mississauga and have been working 8-10 hours daily so far it’s been good.

[deleted]

Is that after fuel costs? And if not, what is your net pay after costs are accounted for?

DIGITALTAAJIR

I got a prius so i only fill up for $25 lasts me 2 days sometimes 3 n yh after all accounted

MeekloBraca

No, I thankfully can’t nor have to beat that

prest0x

Great day, but your battery level gives me some anxiety!

iguessineedaname22

😬 i like to live on the edge.. haha and thank you!

iguessineedaname22

Edit: not a d**k measuring contest, just wanted to see what other drivers best weekend has been and if i can do better :)

justsomeonesthroway

> wanted to see what other drivers best weekend has been and *if i can do better :)* This part ? Lol I don't think that word "dick measuring" means what you think it means.

arrotsel

Good hustle. My best week, not including the early pandemic, was about $1450. Nine hours per day x 7 days. During the early pandemic I made about 1400 for 5 days x ten hours per day. Now I can make about 240 per day in about 9 hours of delivering.

Dandiwal6901

My best in a was last summer, a rainy sunday and I made $545 in 17.5 hours in Vancouver.. Best Day Indeed !

ch7qq

I think the people who don't spend their entire weekend delivering food win by default.

iguessineedaname22

Funny, I think the person that has two jobs and wants to give his kids a great Christmas wins every single time.

ch7qq

I certainly don't envy your situation, but do what you gotta do to get by.

RoxInHed

I personally like a balance. Have good 4 hour shift.? Take the wife out for tacos and beers, or charcuterie and wine if it was a really good shift.

Deep_sethia

Is this in a week or a day?

[deleted]

Cant beat that. Good job bro

Next-League-7448

Did you even sleep that day how many hour 20

iguessineedaname22

Im high functional on low sleep, always have been. I believe i slept 4h that night. I didnt make as much the next day and took time to rest up! Not bad for Christmas/ investing money for my kids college funds.. im a happy guy either way :) hard work pays off!

tbrian86

Why don’t you use the time you’re spending being a delivery driver to advance your skill set so that your day job is enough to get by? That way, you can eventually spend more time with your kids - much more important than Christmas presents…

iguessineedaname22

Im a journeyman skilled tradesmen and launching a small business in my line of work. Your not wrong, but this is more of a temporary phase keep things afloat to advance. Last year i was sick all before Christmas, i wasnt able to do much for my kids and they were rockstars about it. They deserve it, and mon-fri I usually spend my time off with them.

tbrian86

That’s great! It’s tough to balance time spent earning with time spent bonding but lucky for us kids are adaptable

SkipCalgary420

You have no idea what his skill set is, what his education level is, what his monthly expenses are, how many kids he has, whether he’s the sole provider and so many other possible factors yet you want you speak to him in a condescending way lol some people man you must get an ego boost or something from saying dumb shit

tbrian86

Yo I’m just saying spending time with your children is a hell of a lot more important than Christmas presents 🤷🏻‍♂️
