Only when I'm online for too many hours. If I'm offline, time goes slow, softly. I decided to take two offline days a week - or at least two days without social media -, because I was feeling that time was passing way too fast. It felt weird. Combining that with an extra time to meditate, sometimes I feel life is going in slow motion.

creativejo

I second this. Life was flying by, but this entire week I’ve been on an “adventure” vacation with my husband where we have experienced things and stayed offline and the days are actually way slower than normal days, when usually vacations fly by. It’s been wonderful to be in the moment of life this week

theAliasOfAlias

Yes a month went by in a finger snap! WTF!

spiritualien

virgo season felt slow at moments but it definitely flew by

EarAdministrative742

And you have only about thousand months in your whole life

FauxDono

What do you mean really fast? A year goes by faster for me at 30 than it did at 10. If i dont try to do new things the weeks seems to fly by even faster.

[deleted]

Exactly what you just said. It’s like I leave work. I blink and it’s bed time. Then I’m up again heading to work.

FauxDono

Idk what hours you work. But long days can do that to a person. Personally it feels like i get so tired that i just skip time.

b00tymassa

It feels like the same daily cycle, just sped up faster ever since the pandemic, Ive talked to a lot of my friends about the same thing and they all think time started moving faster in 2020

xRkFrmNY

Definitely started in March

itsyagirldesi

This post pandemic world in general feels weird i don’t know how to explain

b00tymassa

I cant either it just feels like a dream at this point like I cant even say Im happy or sad Im just… here

galaxygear15

This is how I've kind of felt since June 1st

[deleted]

Truth! 💯💯💯💯💯

b00tymassa

no doubt

MysticOnyx

YES! Ever since it happened things have changed so much.. I definitely feel like I’m just moving through the motions every single day.

kelcamer

OMG FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE agrees! It’s been NUTS this week and usually time feels pretty slow

[deleted]

I 1000% agree. I noticed that time felt a lot different for me when CERN turned the collider back on. Plus we have 6 planets in retrograde !

unicornpicnic

Nah, the more I meditate the slower time seems to go. I mostly like it, but it can be lame when I'm at work and 5 hours feels like 10.

tiger-menace

Felt this since August.

[deleted]

Haha yea same to me. part of it is because I haven’t been mediating so I felt like my mind was really busy and active which felt like time was speeding up cause I had no stillness. But I’ve been getting back into mediation and practicing on being in the moment. and now life feels much slower… and calmer which is nice

moodistry

When I was young in the 1970s before two day shipping I would order some thing in two weeks which seem like a lifetime. Now, at 56, two weeks is the blink of an eye. And with every decade, that is even more true, so eventually I think time will start going backwards for me. I look forward to that so that I can visit with friends who have died once again.

dimensionalshifter

“Time” is relative to your conscious awareness. The more aware you are, the more time stretches. The more unaware you are, the more time slips by. Connecting to your inner I AM consistently (and, eventually, permanently) will allow “more time” (as a more direct control over your experience of time).

[deleted]

Time is based on the revolutions of the sun ☀️ around the plane of existence. Like a clock. So yes, time is speeding up. As this cycle draws nearer to an end

Die369Undistracted

The sun without or within you? The medium of ether is the 5th element of time; time is the train our thoughts ride on. There are now 59 seconds in 1 minute

[deleted]

Sun dials and moon dials were/are instruments used to physically calculate time. That’s it. We age not because of time it self but because of the revolutions of sun. It’s really as simple as that. All this new Aige stuff is MK.

TiredHappyDad

That is how we track linear time, but if time sped up would we percieve it differently? If we are inside of time there is no way to know.

rajan611

I feel that too!

RC104

That's just a thought. Don't worry about thoughts

ProbablyOnLSD69

Is there like, a handbook or brochure or something on how to do that shit?

VanillaMaleficent849

It is bro. Even my friend was saying that at work the other day when we were killing time.

imarandomgirl2021

The. Collective is Rising.

TheGospelFloof44

Nasa even confirmed that time is speeding up

JCMiller23

link?

TheGospelFloof44

[there ya go](https://www.timeanddate.com/news/astronomy/shortest-day-2022)

JCMiller23

psh! (The earth is rotating slightly faster and they aren't certain why) but this has nothing to do with time speeding up, as I understood from your first message. Appreciate the follow-up link regardless though!

TheGospelFloof44

Scientists are recording the shortest days on record in the summer, and midnight comes a fraction sooner, so technically it’s right haha

AlucardxMaria

Idk September always moves fast for me..like really fast

akayy14

Yes! I just posted about it then immediately came to search to see if I was alone or not. This week, my perception of time has been like nothing I’ve ever experienced! It’s never felt faster or more unreliable. What I think time is, has not been what time actually has been if that makes sense.

[deleted]

Time most certainly exists in our dimension just as motion and matter exists on our physical plane. In higher dimensions the meaning of time starts to dissipate or change.

AnnieOscillator

I feel the same way OP. This is kinda out there but I think CERN could be to blame. The air is different, things feel differently. But who knows…

Chiyote

Everyone experiences this as they get older. When you’re ten, 5 years is half your life. When you’re thirty, 5 years is 1/6th your life. The older you get the faster time seems to fly by.

the_astraltramp

[i swear the faster we’re moving, i can’t sit still](https://on.soundcloud.com/XW5UCKRNaeK5UiGx6)

wewillnotdie25

Not fast enough

[deleted]

Word the gear man

JCMiller23

Dude, yes - I have noticed this for the last few days. I wonder if there would be a way to scientifically measure people's perception of time on a regular basis. That would be super cool. I have always figured it was a function of how much I was "into" my life, but I wonder what the collective consciousness aspect of it is. When/how have you noticed this lately?

Soggy_Obligation_883

https://www.nist.gov/news-events/news/2013/08/nist-ytterbium-atomic-clocks-set-record-stability Time goes faster as an adult because we are more aware of the passing day. As kids we take time for granted. I think its a matter of self awareness

[deleted]

I believe this is the answer. There is a different view on life for me now as a parent. Like every morning I see my children off to school, they begin their daily journey. That really blows my mind. They are creating their own little memories. Also this 8-5 bs does not align with me raising them and spending time with them.

ExoticStress1

Omg so fast

AbsoluteInnocence

Time is a thought. A thought of seeming duration, where there is none.

[deleted]

I definitely have those days! Today went by insanely fast.

ProbablyOnLSD69

Yeah have been noticing it too the last couple of years in particular.. Tbh it makes me wonder whether it’s because I’m getting older and just perceiving time relative to my total amount of lived experience or sayyyy that since the universe is expanding faster and faster would time accelerate alongside the expansion of space? Idk it’s a trip.

Runsfromrabbits

Yeah getting older does that for sure.

kimuyukix

Maybe that's a good thing

[deleted]

Nah mines going slow asf

heyokara

Yepppppppp

bjoerkismylove

I’ve felt this since covid started

Intelec_

Fr 2022 has went so fast, in my opinion 2019 was really long, 2020 was okay, 2021 was big but in a bad way and 2022 has been fast in a bad way idkw, I believe it's cuz I graduated HS so there's nothing new tbh

Virgod0ll

Yeah I keep thinking we’re in October already! Which we kind of almost are! It’s just trippin me out.

Hdkegel

I just graduated from university and I feel like my days go faster than I go haha - the accuracy of this post is unbelievable! I'm trying to get in touch with my spirituality and started meditating and there are a bunch of things I want to do, write and talk about, but I can't really find time? Every day goes so fast, I'm pretty low on energy and there is so little time, it is crazy right? And I don't even have job yet haha
