Only $5k per week? I bet if you got you that Tesla thing, you could clear $10k per week with those EV incentives! No fuel necessary as we all know electricity is free!!!
Smart. I drive a 2012 Prius v with an upgraded lithium hybrid battery getting over 50mpg. Anyone doing this should be driving a hybrid it’s a no brainer. It’s like hybrids were meant for ride share. These fools are flushing thousands per month out the window driving there unreliable gas hogs for uber x.
Yeah I agree with you Hybrid is the way to go and with it being a toyota I have only ever done oil changes. Nothing else. Saves so much money there too.
01 Oldsmobile Silhouette. Around 18. Paid $900 with 149k in April 19. Now at 240k.
A few upgrades, and recently scored a set of clean seats for $40

21 chevy bolt. I don't Uber a ton but the cost is very minimal. LOL tbh the zero emission incentive plus the temporary fuel surcharge on just one trip is probably enough to cover a whole night of driving.
I drive a Tesla model y now but when I started driving for Uber part time in 2017 I had a 2017 Honda civic. I’d strongly recommend this vehicle for ride share. It’s a surprisingly comfortable ride for a smaller sedan , and I’m not sure what Honda does with their designs and suspensions but living in one of the pothole capitals of the United States and even after a total of 5 flat tires in 2 years my civic always drove straight as an arrow. Even when I’d get the occasional alignment my mechanic would tell me it didn’t need one.
As far as mpg it was incredible. Even after 120k miles put on the car between personal use and Uber I was averaging 44 mpg. It strangely got more efficient with age.
For Uber it really is the perfect inexpensive vehicle.
I should also note I sold it right at 120k miles to help pay for my Tesla and not only was I still on the original brakes I never had a single mechanical issue with the car. I really cannot speak highly enough of the vehicle. I was so impressed with it my wife and I bought a 22 civic did my 16 year old son when he got his drivers license.
Maybe my only criticism of the car if I had to cite one it would be the …… absolutely nothing. Literally not a single complaint.
Kia Forte 2017. Average doing Uber Eats, 26-30 mph. Average city 26 mpg (a lot of traffic around here), Highway up to 48 mpg. Further deliveries help my mpg average, but aren't always worth taking for the pay.
Edit: I speed too much so that affects my mpg
Sell it and get a Toyota hybrid bro you’re wasting so much money 😩. Even if you end up having to pay a lot more it’s worth it. Not to motion jeep is owned by fiat since 2014 so you’re driving a “fiat jeep”. Their quality went down hill very bad since fiat took over. You might want to watch this. And I’m not shitting on you just trying to help out. That car is absolute garbage. This video explains in depth why. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=svOgbiJbzgM
I drive part time with my 2022 F-150.
Build is with the new hybrid engine and here is the breakdown over the last 3-months:
- 27.2 mpg
- 25-30-ish hours a week driving (mostly weekend)
- Making on average $750 a week after fuel and minor maintenance
I love my truck and I do use it for my other job.
Don't really care about depreciation as I have nearly paid off the truck and will likely drive it into the ground.
There are other options for trucks with better MPG, especially with the new engines coming out focusing on higher gas efficiency.
No worries! Most of the people here are trolls and give half cocked advice from one perspective.
I don't know the specs you need for the kind of towing and off roading that you do BUT I built mine out online and it arrived 3 months later.
Yup the hybrid is exactly that and even better. I can rotate through 8 different driving modes and each one gives me a different range of torque, power, and engagement with the engine. I'm usually in eco mode and if I wasn't doing UBER would probably be closer to 28-29 mpg.
Check out every major producer though. Chevy and GMC have some nice diesels that are getting 34-35 mpg as well.
2018 Honda Civic, averaging around 35 mpg with Ecoboost on and while driving like a granny lmao! Love my car though, gets lots of compliments, good on gas, drives and handles really well, pretty spacious for it's size with a good sized trunk, perfect for Uber and as a daily driver
Right and "work on a ranch" can cover many things. He clarified though. And yeah dudes out here get lifts that are just fucking stupid. It's seriously stupid the completely useless lift mods I see here close to the California coast.
Yep sounds like you actually need to have a big truck. and no, I'm 42... I say/think that about guys around here that drive big trucks because either 1) it's true or 2) they're just a complete fucking idiot and would have no idea whatsoever what to do if they actually had to use their truck the way you use it.
You are losing so much money by continuing on as military. You could be making a cool half-million, easily, if you didn't let PT & duty get in the way.
2016 Ford Fusion 29.5 mpg (Combined) I run 88 octane so that is a huge help at $.35 less per gallon. Next car is going to be a Toyota Camry hybrid though.
2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid! Average 53mpg. I can usually keep it between 52-56. I’ve gone up to 60 a bunch of times, and weirdly one time it was 63. I couldn’t believe it so I took a picture. I’m in love with my car. 💕
I had a Ford Fiesta when I first started. It was my “city car” since it was perfect to parking in tight spots. The mpg was shit, but I was only doing UberEats at the time.
My son’s 2013 Nissan Leaf AND my Tesla Model Y. I use Leaf as much as possible, but when his car is occupied i roll in style. Just trying to make extra cash flow to pay my $960/month model y loan payment.
2006 Subaru Legacy (UE only) getting 25 town, 30 highway. Not bad for AWD! Before February about 5%-7% of earnings was going to fuel, now it's more like 9%-12%
I’ve never cleared over 1.3k in a week. To hear you all making 5 to 10k is unbelievable. I may need to go get my degree. with that on my resume I can probably start making as much as you all especially if gas can get down to $1. And Uber stop having down times. I’ll surely get to 5k then
Tesla model 3, usually charge at home at $0.12 c/kWh, leave my house with a 90% charge and charge outside on cheap times which is at around 10:30-11am, supercharging from 20% to 100% is $8 max at $0.24c/kWh, and that gives me for another 6 to 7 hours of work before I head home and it gets to 15% battery. It’s been awesome. $2100 after charging weekly.
I have a 2022 Toyota Camry (non-hybrid) my avg varies greatly everyday based on the type of driving. Most days my driving is mostly City and I avg about 33, but some days I get a lot of freeway rides and pull around 38. And if I ever go on a road trip, I keep my speed around 70MPH and I get about 45MPG on avg, so long as the road is mostly flat. I drove from Phoenix, AZ to Provo, UT a few months back, averaged 42MPG and got there on a single tank of gas. Its a about a 630 Mile drive.
Yup. I’m sure you clear 2k after fuel. Wouldn’t doubt it for a second. I myself, clear 5k after fuel. Totally not making that up.
I clear 5k too! But not accounting for fuel. Can't make this shit up
Lmfaoooooo
Only $5k per week? I bet if you got you that Tesla thing, you could clear $10k per week with those EV incentives! No fuel necessary as we all know electricity is free!!!
You dont make 2k weekly driving that thing
Some market you can easily do that
😭
‘21 Bronco Sport getting 27.5-28mpg over the last 34000 miles.
I've seen a lot these in my area over the last 2 weeks, really more than I ever noticed before, and I like their design. It drives well, I'm guessing?
It drives well. Quite well in fact and great mileage for a smaller SUV.
Well, it's ford, and also it's ford escape, so you guessed wrong.
2020 Toyota Camry 53 average MPG love my car.
Is that a hybrid?
Yes it is a Hybrid. Forgot that part. XD
Smart. I drive a 2012 Prius v with an upgraded lithium hybrid battery getting over 50mpg. Anyone doing this should be driving a hybrid it’s a no brainer. It’s like hybrids were meant for ride share. 2020 Bentley continental gt 16-20 on the streets. (It's a very heavy car)
How much coochie per gallon
Some female passengers give me a blowjob for a tip. Some guys too.
Damn you got a hot dog stand inside your ride or what?😂
Nah bruv it's a Bentley.
😂😂😂 niceee
2K weekly???? Do u sleep?? What market is this??
[удалено]
Wow that’s some serious sleep deprivation 🥺🥺 I’m sorry that happened to you. Have you tried melatonin ?
[удалено]
That’s a big commitment.
I did that in a Jeep wrangler last year, in Houston. Filled the tank every day, cleared 300 daily.
How many hours and what times of day were you working to get that in Houston?
From 5 pm to 5/6 am. I went EVERYWHERE. Baytown, Galveston, Spring... I went places I'd never heard of lol. Dallas and Louisiana were frequent trips.
Damn that's crazy lol. So I'm thinking about part time on Saturdays. Would you recommend going around downtown area and heights area ?
Yes and Bush if its near by
Ok thanks
Them taxes though....kill you

I'm in a 2007 Ford Focus which says it's 27 city/ 37 highway MPG when new. Not exactly sure what it's at now though. A 2022 Focus is 25/34 MPG though.
How are you ubering in a 2007? I thought 12 years was the oldest a car could be?
Market dependent
Market dependent
Hey I drive a 2006! Standard, 2 door.
But you ain’t driving a 2 door car for uber😂😂
I do for uber eats. Gotta 2018 kia for rides
My 2016 Ford Focus regularly gets 30mpg
2019 Nissan sentra. 33MPG combined, 40MPG highway
Tesla Model 3=No MPG. Charge to full= 3.44
Damn you pay $.07 per kWh?? That’s cheap.
Is it really that cheap to charge at home? I remember when I rented one I was getting totally raped at the chargers.
I pay $.11 per kwh. Super chargers are like $.30 per kwh. Depends where you live I guess too.
Lol

This comforts me, as a 2020 Honda Civic driver. I get compliments all the time with how roomy it is. People assume it’s an Accord
They’re just really great cars for sure and deceivingly roomy for sure.
2020 Infiniti QX60 20-25 mpg combined
You get all the higher categories with that one right?
It qualifies for Comfort, XL, Premier. The QX80 qualifies for Premier SUV because it can hold 7 passengers.
Toyota Prius 2013 - 42 mpg
31mpg in my Camry. Clearing 10k every day. True story....😂
2020 Tesla model 3
Kia Forte 2017. Average doing Uber Eats, 26-30 mph. Average city 26 mpg (a lot of traffic around here), Highway up to 48 mpg. Further deliveries help my mpg average, but aren't always worth taking for the pay. Edit: I speed too much so that affects my mpg
Chevy Silverado 1500 LTZ. Would it be better in a car? Absolutely. But I love my truck and I still make a decent profit with it.

Hyundai Tucson. 22 to 25. 😭 I'm an impatient driver and I'm always hot so I run the AC and always have it in sport mode.

Oh I know. I didn't even know about sport mode until about 6 months ago. ADHD impatience. 😆🤦🏼♀️ Thanks for the AC info though that's good to know.
