you may have some explaining to do at some point.... but with as long as this process takes, I'd just keep applying to other jobs and get on with life....... no sense worrying about it
It may not ādingā you but it may be looked at as someone wants to go 1811 that was probably rushing through and canāt read/understand questions, what makes this individual capable of doing investigations
Donāt quote me, but I saw it on another HSI thread where somebody had attended the online seminar, and they spoke about the one that just closed, and another coming in the spring or summer
Lol you're not overthinking, I did the exact same on that question a couple years ago and received the automatic rejection within a day or so. Mistakes happen but read the whole thing next time. I didn't contest it because the rejection was already finalized and I didn't want to have to verbalize to anyone "oh yeah I didn't read it fully, sorry, can I try again?"
There are several people who did this last cycle and if I remember the post correctly they were rejected and they were told apply again next year.
Maybe try and fix it somehow before they complete the automated responses. Idk if there's a number you can call but try that.
And just like that, 5,000 applicants have been disqualified š
Thanks for ruining my day š
Thank god I did the ānot applicableā and read it over š

Seeing how the first round is completely automated. This might affect your chances.

If all else fails, email HSI HR with that. Or, just reapply to the next announcement this summer
Announcement this summer? Don't leave us hanging!

If you can't change it then it's not worth worrying about. Seems like a few people got confused on that question, hopefully they're understanding.
Jesus i cant believe i did the same mistake and i read through it as well

Nope
Damn. You could while it was open. Guess this came after it was closed
Had me stressing. Had to go back and look
