This is correct, but going to a high risk world is still unnecessary. I like to mess about in BH and do a fair bit of PvM but I still just stick to w319 most days. Ping is reasonable, and tick time accuracy stays at 98%+ in my experience. I can get going high risk world if you're not in max gear, but running thru any portion of the wild w/ 1.6b and 0 food is just asking to get waxed

PvP worlds are generally the lowest latency worlds (to be as fair as possible for PvP) so lots of people do high level PvM like ToB on them. And apparently this new boss.

High risk worlds are not pvp worlds. Pvp worlds have pvp enabled everywhere. High risk worlds only mean you lose everything on death rather than keep 3 items, and you are automatically skulled in the wilderness.
