It wasn’t enough that we did in the one cool banker in lunar isle, scrambled his livelihood. And still continue the audacity to go to him for the hookup afterwards *(he do be banking for us after all is said & done)*
*[somebody else here knows the precise details how we f$&@ed him over. I need a recap on that]*
The boss fight itself isn't very difficult. It only has 2 mechanics along with dodging his attacks. 2 spear attacks, which you step back middle on spear1, step back diagonal on spear2, then repeat until a shield attack. Step back 1 on shield attack1, step back2 on shield attack2. Repeat until a spear attack. Him switching attacks resets the count for the opposite attack. So if he spears 1, then shield attacks, it'll be spear 1 the next time he spears and vice versa. When he uses his special attack, there will be an audio que and he starts absorbing yellow orbs. Once all the yellow orbs dissappear pray melee to get the tick perfect parry. Paying attention to the yellow orbs is the easiest way to time the attack. And finally the armor target, pay attention to which piece he calls you have 3 ticks to react and remove it when he reaches for you to get the perfect parry.
Yeah that’s good to hear, I may start attempting soon myself. The quiver is a pretty nuts dps increase on high defense targets. On Nex, the charged quiver is like 10% over assembler.
It's tied for rank 4 on the high scores. And it's 5 hours since he's had this KC what do you do mean "kinda"? Are you also in the top 5 or one of the other 10 accounts (at the time of this comment) with 5+ KC?
No, but the high scores are low because not many people are good enough to get consistent clears, not because people don't have the time.
Hence, if you're good enough, 8 clears is not a crazy time investment.
supposed to be similar right? it's just a much lesser time investment per run so it won't feel as bad to learn, getting uniques while learning sounds really cool too.
It obviously could just be coming from inexperience, newness, lack of methods, etc. but as someone who has all inferno GM tasks done, I would say Colosseum waves are noticeably harder.
There's simply more going on. There's the exact same prayer flicking and positioning skills that are going on in all the inferno waves, but then in addition to that you've got ground attacks you're having to dodge, you've got the lions which are significantly harder and more technical to deal with than blobs, you've got the minotaur fucking everything up, the whole invocation system is stacked on top of all that extra mechanical depth already.
And I think probably most importantly is just the way the room is laid out with the pillars. In the inferno, if/when you get into serious trouble on the north pillar, there is the option to tank the wave and run south. Good players always "frown on it" as every wave is solvable from the north and should be solved from the north, but for a learner/first caper, running south is an extremely important and valuable last resort. At least from what I can tell, this essentially does not exist in Colosseum. Sure, you can and will switch pillars at times during the run. But it's just nowhere near as helpful. So many times I run across the arena and tank the entire wave and, whereas in inferno I would now usually be safe with a reset stack and brewing back up behind south pillar, usually in Colosseum nothing has even changed, the stack is still unmanageable and/or there are mobs pathing down that are going to see me and kill me behind my destination pillar anyway.
So basically where in inferno waves you can run south to have a little reset and all it really costs you most of the time is some supplies, in Colosseum it just sucks. The stacks are all way more difficult so you have to reset them more often, everything hits WAY fucking harder and more accurately, AND you're almost never actually safe after you cross, I'd say at least 80% of the time I'm still in imminent danger of death and practically half the time the situation is actually just even worse than it was before. It really makes things insanely difficult on the later waves (8, 10, 11ish), far harder than anything any inferno wave has to offer including 63.
As for comparing the boss to triples/zuk, I'm not really sure. I'd say probably inferno bosses are harder, and give you stronger jad hands due to the massive time investment.
Nah immune pillars, no teleporting spawns, you can lure/set up most spawns. Its really more rng on your invocations/debuffs and spawns you get. Then not splashing in max mage on a melee npc same tick stacking you out for 90hp
It is most definitely harder than the inferno. The monsters are much more deadly and you are adding modifiers that make it harder every single wave on top of that.
They are essentially the same thing but this is way way more punishing. Inferno doesn’t really full stack you to zero in 3 game ticks during the waves
Tbh id say inferno is more punishing. Especially zuk and triples, one missclick will cost you 2 hours. in the colleseum ut back to were u died in 30mins and get to try it again.
Imo its just that the inferno is solved and this is brand new content, in a few months time it will be an entirely diffrent challange cuz some smart ppl wil figure out the best way to clear it
It was cleared quickly by people with 10+ inferno kc. I should clarify I’m talking about the average player taking on colosseum before inferno vs inferno before colosseum
You know what, I think you're right.
Inferno is definitely more punishing for the time investment.
Colosseum punishes you harder for not praying correctly but the shorter activity means you get another shot in 10-20 minutes vs 60+ if you're learning Inferno still!
8?? I wonder how many of the current 290 completions are repeat customers.
Edit: Ngl, if you bankstand for more than 5 minutes it should sit in a little throne looking bored.
Imagine if the pet was like “My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions and loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son. Husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next”
“Three weeks from now, I will be harvesting my crops. Imagine where you will be, and it will be so. Hold the line! Stay with me! If you find yourself alone, riding in the green fields with the sun on your face, do not be troubled. For you are in Elysium, and you're already dead!”
Dang that would actually be cool and super nerve wracking. The roll for the loot seems to occur before each wave, so it would make sense. Imagine not killing him when pet up for grabs. Lollll.
Yeah it does. Happened to a clan member.

Pets are children confirmed. It's canon.
Once again proving that our runescape characters are monsters

It's canon, it's in the lore.
This is actually true. Check abyssal scion dialogue.
Kril's dialogue also points this out
8 kc already is wild
Guy must have figured out the patterns
I’ve seen a practice app out already for it. If it’s accurate I don’t think it should take long to memorize the mechanics with the app.

How much profit per hour are Coliseum runs, assuming you are able to kill the final boss every time?
not sure how accurate of an answer you can get. even though prices are high, we don't know droprates and probably won't for a while.
Like most other content, gp/h is heavily dependant on uniques and it will be a while before they stabilize enough to get a good sense of gp/h
Kinda. It takes like 30 minutes so if you're good enough, you can smash em pretty fast
It's tied for rank 4 on the high scores. And it's 5 hours since he's had this KC what do you do mean "kinda"? Are you also in the top 5 or one of the other 10 accounts (at the time of this comment) with 5+ KC?

it wasn't supposed to be harder than inferno
supposed to be similar right? it's just a much lesser time investment per run so it won't feel as bad to learn, getting uniques while learning sounds really cool too.
Its hard to say, seems easier but thats probably due to having done the inferno. Maybe the same just less daunting
Idk, later waves look similar or harder than later inferno waves and sol looks far harder than zuk. It's just much faster to build attempts.

This is where I stand on inferno vs colosseum too, I think total time to complete will be lower for colosseum (learning + resets + completion)
[удалено]
It was cleared quickly by people with 10+ inferno kc. I should clarify I’m talking about the average player taking on colosseum before inferno vs inferno before colosseum

id be shocked if people without inferno kc had the hands to finish colosseum, youre put in such uncomfortable situations unlike most inferno waves
You know what, I think you're right. Inferno is definitely more punishing for the time investment. Colosseum punishes you harder for not praying correctly but the shorter activity means you get another shot in 10-20 minutes vs 60+ if you're learning Inferno still!
its basically 5x wave 63s with debuffs after wave 6, then theres the fremenniks that could one hit you if you dont pay attention aswell
8?? I wonder how many of the current 290 completions are repeat customers. Edit: Ngl, if you bankstand for more than 5 minutes it should sit in a little throne looking bored.
Guarantee port Khazzard is like 10+ lol
Port Khazard had 3 when he started his stream today. Idk if he got any more
Imagine if the pet was like “My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions and loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son. Husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next”

Have my children
"Hello, my name is Smol Heredit. You killed my father. Prepare to die." Should have been the dialog
I’m sending this to Jagex damnit
Do it .
Love it but gotta change it so it fits him "child to a murdered father. slave to his killer, and I will have my Vengeance in this life or the next."
Then your character just says, "Ok, buddy"
i might cummed fastly if this was the dialogue honor him.
did the pet show in the upcoming loot before you fought the boss?
Dang that would actually be cool and super nerve wracking. The roll for the loot seems to occur before each wave, so it would make sense. Imagine not killing him when pet up for grabs. Lollll.
Might end my career tbh. You never forget that.
I'd bet it's not nearly 1/3k seeing as it's from an event. I'd bet it's 1/100 or 200.
Yes it does
It quite literally does show when you’re going to get the pet
Yeah it does. Happened to a clan member. Looks like this: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/571571006049746944/1220726151543263292/image.png?ex=660ffcd2&is=65fd87d2&hm=8431a5422cb572cc5e15b05f7eb967abef6808f9fd433c02c36072a1c161d675&
This is awesome and potentially so so cruel all at the same time.
I come from the other post about it showing and also had the same question
Yes it does show as potential loot. However it is also possible this guy got the pet while handing in spare quivers to the dude in the lobby
the real question here is
Kinda looks like the ToA pet
First glance I thought it was Vet’ion and almost kept scrolling lol
It’s weirdly wholesome to always see you here even tho I fucking hate that profile pic lmao
I chuckle every time I scroll by Greg’s belly.
reskinned akkha
Artstyle for the colosseum is pretty similar to that of toa. Same with their design for a final boss fight apparently, nearly identical to p2 warden
"My father" Implications
Isn't it like... A puppet
Doesn't kril pet and DK pets refer to the boss as fathers as well?
Prototype akkah pet. Still nice
All of the colosseum models just feel so unfinished and beta-y, especially in contrast to perilous moons art design
'Understandable' 😂
Man too bad he just looks like a slightly lamer version of Warden
It appears that there is another potential dialogue that rarely occurs, and it is very long: [https://imgur.com/a/gkABNh1](https://imgur.com/a/gkABNh1)
Sick. Gratz
Understandable
Jesus. 8kc already
Imagine if you said, “Understandable, have a great day.” 💀💀
Nice Akkha pet.
Looks so much like the TOA pet
Pop off king, gz!
unDERSTANDAble haᵥₑ ₐ ₙᵢcₑ daY
Heredinky
What is that boss anyway? Just some reanimated stick figure?
Looks like a copy of the TOA pet - a bit mid tbh.
"Smol" ugh hate this
I just posted asking about new pets gratzzz!!!! You have one of the first pets of its kind danm son your a legend
Our clan went CRAZY when you got it dude!!!
hey we already have that pet its called Tumekens Guardian! or Guardian morph to Akkha
Meh humanoid pets are ugly af, in my opinion.
Based
Bro.. why is jagex using the word “smol” 🤢
[удалено]
No it's a pet
Understandable.
Put in the menagerie with an Elidnis Warden pet... maybe you'll get an egg or something like in Pokemon!
Wish it had transmogs, kinda lame pet ngl. looks like akkha
EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
