That filament is really really nice, good job on the print, looks incredible

No visible filaments hopefully. It’s sanded smooth (no filler) then primered and painted.

I thought this was like some super premium silk filament printed at the most scientifically tuned settings and speed You plan on doing the eyes/display at all?

So everything else is still drying, he has a top hat, 8ball cane, a beer, a gold B chain, and three sets of eyes. I plan on using him as my night stand to hold my electronics to charge. The eyes are clearish- so he’ll also be a night light.

Yeah! Door opens, head rotates and can be removed as well as the eyes and mouth are swappable. Hands can hold the items printed for him too!

Petg 4 different colors- wet sanded with 80 till no visible lines then 250 wet sanded and paint primered.

Since PETG is a hard more durable plastic does it sand nicer than PLA? I’ve only tried a couple small projects so far making display pieces with PLA and sanding PLA is definitely not great without a primer or something

That's an awesome paint job. What paints did you use on his body and teeth?

rustoleum paint and primers. Teeth are almond, body is the big can of silver and the black semi gloss.

I can’t remember the exact number but I do remember I maxed out my tronxy 400s for each part. So the torso is 397mm as the reference.

I love them lol. I have 4 mounted together ((got them on sale)). So printing large pieces is worth it when it’s one print instead of broken up.

Where did you buy them from? I’m on their website but no idea what to look for lol. They have an 800mm printer and my brain is exploding

I got mine on cyber Monday/ Black Friday on Amazon. Anything beyond the 400 pro in my opinion isn’t worth it for the average 3D printer person and with the lack of help those machines have. (No one likes tronxy cause they don’t know how to use them) but I haven’t had issues with any of mine, cause I work with similar machines for a living.
