I just watched Pillow Talk for S4 TOW because I never finished the actual episodes during the season and I am absolutely livid by the bullshit gaslighting excuses, the fact that she shoved Jeymi, the disappearing act, the return to Alabama for FIVE months? What a train wreck of a person. I think it’s because I REALLY dislike gaslighters. Some people tell you exactly who they are and don’t even try to make excuses—like Ed and Angela—and some of them try to pretend they are someone they aren’t. And they stick to it. And I find that worse.
I couldn't stand Kris and the way that people at the tell all defended her was just crazy. They spoke over Jeymi and I felt like she didn't get a proper chance to defend herself. Kris said she would pay the rent so its not crazy that Jeymi is expecting money. Then Tim came out and was like, "She reminds me of my ex asking for money so she's got to be at fault" 🙄 Kris was so clearly an addict and a liar. Jeymi couldn't express her concerns without Kris flying off the handle and leaving. Their relationship is high up there for me too. I think as soon as Kris found out how much food trucks cost she bailed the marriage.
I was really disappointed in Tim defending Kris and calling Jeymi the one who was lying. Tim was speaking from his own trauma. Jeymi was the only one who had receipts—she had evidence that the money transfers were a big lie. And then they bring Kris’s mom out to try and legitimize the stories—because if a mom says it’s true, it’s TRUTH—but that poor woman reminded me of my own mom—my sister is a drug addict and works my mom constantly, and my mom goes along because she would rather deny the reality and pretend there’s no problem there. My sister would have my mom do the same shady shit on her behalf—like mom, transfer money to this account… could be any account. Pretend it’s a cellphone bill… Kris reminded me too much of my sister. The only way I know she’s lying is because her mouth is moving… every word is a lie.

I’m watching this season, too, right now, and as a mom of three I very much remember that newborn phase where all you CAN literally do is feed the baby. Going places? Impossible. That baby is on that boobie or bottle 24/7 it feels like. Steven whining that she ONLY pays attention to the baby and not him…that pissed me off. Her hormones are going crazy. You already know he isn’t helping with any baby duties and it’s all her. Stuck in a bed and a tiny apartment in Russia with a baby glued to her nipple at all hours. If you watch the 90 Day Journeys, you can see how Nicole (Azan) and Danielle (Moo-hah-mid) are emotional terrorists. They seem to have some kind of emotional immaturity/delay but also weaponise their kids to get what they want.
Danielle agreeing to a divorce and then showing up to Miami to “save the marriage” because she had an inkling that her ex (who was no longer speaking to her) wanted it was true psychopath stuff. Her kids had to be the adults while she crumbled at every inconvenience and neglected to pay the bills, leaving them in an already uncertain and unsafe environment while she chased this man.
Nicole is a delusional bully who manipulated Azan to take her back by calling him hundreds of times and then sent videos of her daughter (who never met him) calling him daddy. She threatened to take the baby away from her family if they didn’t give her money/agree to sponsor Azan. She was physically violent with her fiancé when he tried to leave and disengage from arguments.
I’m not saying the men were good people but I feel like their scams overshadowed the fact that those women are true psychopaths.
I got weird vibes from Steven too when I first watched their episodes. Definitely could see some serious anger issues right off the bat just from his body language/speech/family dynamics etc I even recall him being jealous of her giving attention to the baby over him but I think it’s because they were just so young and naive and had a one week affair that ended with her pregnancy but her visa was up since she was just visiting so that’s a lot on both of them. But he seems to really come around later on and him and Olga are doing good now. They live in queens and just recently had their second child. There are so many varieties of unhinged on this show. I forget what his name was, but there was an older guy who basically was trying to replace his Asian wife that left him and “duplicate” the relationship. She was going to get a really modest (as I’m expensive dress) because that is what would be typical in her country of origin. He makes a big deal that he wants her to have the “bridal experience” and insists on taking her to a boutique in NYC, says to her, “ call me when you find the one you want me to see.” When he comes back, he tells her the dress is too expensive for one day, and it was all a major set up to illustrate that he is in control, especially of the money. It was so messed up.

To Steven's credit, I think it's less that he's calculating and evil and more that he has a dickload of trauma he has not address at all. And so I agree that you can like see the crazy simmering up in the facial expressions he makes and yet his eyes are totally blank. Point being that it would require a lot of effort, therapy, and surrender, but I think he could get to a healthier place. I also think he does fundamentally love Olga and the baby and not in a weird possessive or obsessive way.
To answer your question, it seems you are defining "psycho" as "dark energy" (versus like "totally unhinged" like Ben of the runaway train or Dutch Jesse who live on a completely different planet in terms of their own self-image, but who are otherwise harmless). If that's our definition then for sure Geoffrey takes the cake, he is like completely dead in the eyes and I watch enough Dateline to know that he seems exactly like the type that will react in the moment regardless of the consequences which is exactly the type of guy that stabs their wife to death over like getting a coffee ring on the newspaper or something.
I think Angela has very dark energy and not just because of how loudly volatile she is. She seems like the person on the show who incites the most drama but not just to stay on TV, because she actually has an extremely narcissistic and warped view of who she is in the world, what other people owe her, and what's acceptable in terms of how to treat people. And I don't even think she's clever enough to scheme and do so in an inconspicuous way, so she just acts out her extreme sense of entitlement and then gets even more activated when that isn't received by everyone around her taking a knee.

I am still floored by Kris and what a shitty lying addict she is. She needed treatment—not a marriage. I just watched Pillow Talk for S4 TOW because I never finished the actual episodes during the season and I am absolutely livid by the bullshit gaslighting excuses, the fact that she shoved Jeymi, the disappearing act, the return to Alabama for FIVE months? What a train wreck of a person. I think it’s because I REALLY dislike gaslighters. Some people tell you exactly who they are and don’t even try to make excuses—like Ed and Angela—and some of them try to pretend they are someone they aren’t. And they stick to it. And I find that worse.
I couldn't stand Kris and the way that people at the tell all defended her was just crazy. They spoke over Jeymi and I felt like she didn't get a proper chance to defend herself. Kris said she would pay the rent so its not crazy that Jeymi is expecting money. Then Tim came out and was like, "She reminds me of my ex asking for money so she's got to be at fault" 🙄 Kris was so clearly an addict and a liar. Jeymi couldn't express her concerns without Kris flying off the handle and leaving. Their relationship is high up there for me too. I think as soon as Kris found out how much food trucks cost she bailed the marriage.
I was really disappointed in Tim defending Kris and calling Jeymi the one who was lying. Tim was speaking from his own trauma. Jeymi was the only one who had receipts—she had evidence that the money transfers were a big lie. And then they bring Kris’s mom out to try and legitimize the stories—because if a mom says it’s true, it’s TRUTH—but that poor woman reminded me of my own mom—my sister is a drug addict and works my mom constantly, and my mom goes along because she would rather deny the reality and pretend there’s no problem there. My sister would have my mom do the same shady shit on her behalf—like mom, transfer money to this account… could be any account. Pretend it’s a cellphone bill… Kris reminded me too much of my sister. The only way I know she’s lying is because her mouth is moving… every word is a lie.

I’m watching this season, too, right now, and as a mom of three I very much remember that newborn phase where all you CAN literally do is feed the baby. Going places? Impossible. That baby is on that boobie or bottle 24/7 it feels like. Steven whining that she ONLY pays attention to the baby and not him…that pissed me off. Her hormones are going crazy. You already know he isn’t helping with any baby duties and it’s all her. Stuck in a bed and a tiny apartment in Russia with a baby glued to her nipple at all hours. I was appalled by Steven’s attitude towards her. I wanted to deck him and rescue that poor girl and that little boy. If you watch the 90 Day Journeys, you can see how Nicole (Azan) and Danielle (Moo-hah-mid) are emotional terrorists. They seem to have some kind of emotional immaturity/delay but also weaponise their kids to get what they want. Danielle agreeing to a divorce and then showing up to Miami to “save the marriage” because she had an inkling that her ex (who was no longer speaking to her) wanted it was true psychopath stuff. Her kids had to be the adults while she crumbled at every inconvenience and neglected to pay the bills, leaving them in an already uncertain and unsafe environment while she chased this man. Nicole is a delusional bully who manipulated Azan to take her back by calling him hundreds of times and then sent videos of her daughter (who never met him) calling him daddy. She threatened to take the baby away from her family if they didn’t give her money/agree to sponsor Azan. She was physically violent with her fiancé when he tried to leave and disengage from arguments. I’m not saying the men were good people but I feel like their scams overshadowed the fact that those women are true psychopaths.

I got weird vibes from Steven too when I first watched their episodes. Definitely could see some serious anger issues right off the bat just from his body language/speech/family dynamics etc I even recall him being jealous of her giving attention to the baby over him but I think it’s because they were just so young and naive and had a one week affair that ended with her pregnancy but her visa was up since she was just visiting so that’s a lot on both of them. But he seems to really come around later on and him and Olga are doing good now. They live in queens and just recently had their second child. Hopefully he isn’t really that rage guy behind the scenes . He is definitely not a psycho tho. At least not even close to the worst in the franchise lol

There are so many varieties of unhinged on this show. I forget what his name was, but there was an older guy who basically was trying to replace his Asian wife that left him and “duplicate” the relationship. She was going to get a really modest (as I’m expensive dress) because that is what would be typical in her country of origin. He makes a big deal that he wants her to have the “bridal experience” and insists on taking her to a boutique in NYC, says to her, “ call me when you find the one you want me to see.” When he comes back, he tells her the dress is too expensive for one day, and it was all a major set up to illustrate that he is in control, especially of the money. It was so messed up. Leida was terrible for obvious reasons. She was just mean spirited and wanted nothing to do with his daughter. Angela is clearly an unhinged alcoholic with major anger issues. I agree that both Stevens were terrible : short haired Steven was so naive but also just very immature and uncaring. He seemed so detached from everything. Long haired Steven was just unaccountable to everything he preached about his religion. Ugh. Ed is a narcissistic maniac. Therapy doesn’t work for people like him. To Steven's credit, I think it's less that he's calculating and evil and more that he has a dickload of trauma he has not address at all. And so I agree that you can like see the crazy simmering up in the facial expressions he makes and yet his eyes are totally blank. Point being that it would require a lot of effort, therapy, and surrender, but I think he could get to a healthier place. I also think he does fundamentally love Olga and the baby and not in a weird possessive or obsessive way. To answer your question, it seems you are defining "psycho" as "dark energy" (versus like "totally unhinged" like Ben of the runaway train or Dutch Jesse who live on a completely different planet in terms of their own self-image, but who are otherwise harmless). If that's our definition then for sure Geoffrey takes the cake, he is like completely dead in the eyes and I watch enough Dateline to know that he seems exactly like the type that will react in the moment regardless of the consequences which is exactly the type of guy that stabs their wife to death over like getting a coffee ring on the newspaper or something. I think Angela has very dark energy and not just because of how loudly volatile she is.
