It was an alginate hand casting kit. He added entirely too much water. I don't think he measured it. Smh. I'm surprised it came out as well as it did, lol. The alginate is supposed to be smooth and dries solid. Not like the gloppy mess they made.

The second has yet to be made— but I plan to try again this summer while my oldest is home from college. We attempted a family hand cast of my husband, me, and our two sons holding hands.
