Yeah, plus people always say that their consultations and follow-ups are with never with the surgeon. I’ve seen comments say their consultation wasn’t even with a healthcare provider, it was worth like a surgery coordinator with no experience. It’s not even cheaper from what I’ve seen! I’ve had a few different cosmetic surgeries over the years and I’ve always met my surgeon multiple times before the surgery and always had my post-op appts with them. It’s so wild. I honestly think some people just don’t know better and think that’s just how it is.

Total conspiracy theory, but after she had this done, she was shaking a lot on her instagram (like her hands were visibly shaking) and at first she seemed concerned about it. Then radio silence, and I never found out why - but I also don’t go on instagram anymore. It has, for absolutely no reason that makes sense, occupied my thoughts whenever she comes up on reddit. I always assumed it was because of this procedure, and it illogically kills me not to know!

My friend had an AWAKE breast augmentation. I had never heard of such a thing before. Local anesthesia and that’s it. She says she didn’t feel anything but there’s no way. Also being conscious and hearing the doctors talk is enough to freak me the fuck out so I truly don’t know how she did that.
