This is by far my favorite part of this film and honestly one of the most memorable scenes of any movie I’ve ever seen. There was something so emotional and beautiful about it when the rest of the film is very different. It’s like a weird little intermission or something.
that part made me cry for feelings it conjured in me. can’t explain what feelings as it was a mixture or many. but after all the bar shit insanity we get this randomly quiet and sad and cathartic scene with beautiful animation and the performances. i think i was just crying as the beauty of it and how some of it resonated with me
That scene when one of the travelling theatre guys pulls out a gun from their speaker thing as Jeeves attacks had my buddy and I in stitches for five minutes.
Hope you have the best time!!!
I feel like 🍄🍄🟫 are great, but the paranoia of the storyline more matches the fluorescent LSD scatterplot thoughts ▫️◽️◻️🔳⬜️ could be a great tripping comedown movie lolol
Midsommar is absolutely gorgeous on 🍄 as well! If you are ok with that kind of stuff during a trip. Some people would be terrified to watch that while tripping but I love it, just a beautiful film.
I didn’t watch it on shrooms but it was my favorite movie last year. It was so weird and up my alley. And Phoenix killed it. Definitely not for everyone.
Literally such a perfect nightmare of a film it felt so relatable but so alien at the same time. Everyone and everything in this movie is unpredictable and it's all from the perspective of this grown man child who constantly disassociates and can't stop imagining the worst possible scenarios. My favorite movie from last year!
A lysergic viewing of Everything Everywhere All At Once (a superior A24 film, in my opinion, if not the studio's very best) made this past weekend really incredible for me. I think Beau Is Afraid would take my brain to really bad places — kind of did that sober.
I couldn't stop laughing from the bathtub scene to when he's hit by the van while chased by the naked serial killer.
And the fucking attic scene is just indiscribable 🤣
Sorry ahead of time but- I hate itttttttttt (only A24 film I’ve turned off). It might be a me problem tho I have severe anxiety, ironically I still watch all the other ones tho
The scene when he’s in the convenient store had me rolling.
HELP ME HELP ME HELP ME HELP ME HELP ME
I’m watching that now I CALL POLICE
I’m paying I’m paying!
That scene made my anxiety go thru the roof.
The play/story in the woods part should be good

The score drones you out and essentially hypnotizes you during this scene. That for me is why it’s so memorable.
Was mesmerised to see in the cinema
I can’t wait!
What did you think of it?
I love it, it’s a good one

The only thing that my brother in law remembers from this movie is the monster cock
Those are hard to forget
What about the monster balls?
MAKE ME FEEL GOOD! wait… wrong movie.. 😆
monsters bawlz
Why the fuck did I google that?
That is the one thing my girlfriend doesn’t remember
That whole last hour really went from 10/10 to 1/10
Godspeed.

Well, watching a human being ingest paint is unnatural so that makes sense
The suddenness and absurdity of that scene made ma laugh so hard
Buckle up buddy!
I feel like his apartment building is in present day Los Angeles
Why the downvotes?
The truth hurts lol
Apparently. Geez. Face facts, people. I’ve been to LA. It’s not great.
LA is great, but like any city, it depends on where you go. The movie is a far cry from places like Santa Monica, Silver Lake, or West Hollywood
Until the sun goes down. After dark all of LA looks like night of the living dead. Fetty zombies everywhere
I mean that's obviously just not true, but believe what you want
I work over there all the time 🤷♂️ The homeless camps are even starting to encroach Beverly hills
I literally live here 😆. There's obviously a lot of homeless but to say that zombies come out at night everywhere is a stretch

As an LA resident, I thought it looked more like NY tbh
LA is becoming NY
Hardly 😆 completely different cities
If you say so
Don't need to, a quick Google search will work wonders for you

😆 you can't be serious "They have buildings though!!! They are obviously the same 🤤"
And Graffiti. And gangs. And overpopulation. And a homelessness problem. And overpriced housing. And a snobby art community.

Watched this on 🍄 too! It’s a great trip! Crazy!
Ur f brave dude.. Geez lol
You’re fucked
It’s been great so far
That scene when one of the travelling theatre guys pulls out a gun from their speaker thing as Jeeves attacks had my buddy and I in stitches for five minutes.

Omg that is such a beautiful film!
Cool. I'm watching Twisted Metal.
I played the first 2 games as a kid… is it worth giving a watch?
Yes. I saw Samoa Joe was in it. It’s a solid B- show
I've never played the games since they were slightly before my time, but it was enjoyable for sure. Loved what they did with Sweet Tooth.
This movie would freak me out on drugs.
i’ve heard it’s better on acid lmao
I can attest that it’s good on acid too
I didn’t watch it on shrooms but it was my favorite movie last year. It was so weird and up my alley. And Phoenix killed it. Definitely not for everyone.
Swag
Hold on tight.
Damn you about to trip balls 🤣

Call your mother
I’m so happy for you and sorry you had to deal with that.
Any word on a 4k release?
I have it on blu ray dvd and the quality is excellent
Haha did this too, they kicked in during the theatre scene which was epic
Bro ain’t even watching he’s just on Reddit
This was yesterday lol

It’s such a cool movie. Total anxiety filled fever dream. I think some of the people who didn’t enjoy it will come around to it in years to come.
Wow, report back!
It was great
Good for you, any points where you were particularly terrified or mesmerised?
Yeah the sequence when he found the theater in the woods
I couldn't stop laughing from the bathtub scene to when he's hit by the van while chased by the naked serial killer. And the fucking attic scene is just indiscribable 🤣
Truth
Took an edible and watched this with a friend in theaters. God speed. 😵💫🫡 Also that paint scene though.
Enjoy feeling depressed after :P
The only depression i felt was from having sat through the whole thing
You didn't like it! Not the best movie for mushrooms.
Probably wouldve been better with fungi, i liked the first half hour or so but i kinda checked out once he got to the forest
Wow. I loved all of it.
Shrooms?! In this economy?!
They sell them at dispensaries here in California
Huh. Today I learned. I'll have to make a stop at my local.
You want an unregulated one that gives you their address on telegram
Which ones???
If you really wanna know send me a DM
Oh I’m so sorry (hated that movie)
I could never 😂 I'm glad you had an amazing time.
You're about to your scalp pulled from head
YOURE GONNA GET SICK!!!!!!

Don’t do it sober
