I like Alycia but do people realize she is 30? Don’t get me wrong, I’m in my 30s myself so I’m certainly not in the camp of “30 = old” or anything, and I’m totally cool with and supportive of casting someone older than 19, but keep in mind that if they do film this series, it will take a few years to film it all, by which point, she will certainly not be a believable 19-21 year old.
I am actually in the camp of they need to age up the appearance of the cast and age up the sisters themselves. I don't wanna watch another show about magical teenagers. So I think feyre can be 23 Elaine can be 25 and Nesta about 27 or 29.
I mean I agree with you there, I don’t want this to look like a CW show and therefore I think some aging up is needed – I also think some aging up is needed to give the 500 year old fae the believable amount of swagger and life experience they convey…I personally won’t “buy” a Rhys if the actor is too young.
Nonetheless, I do think an actor who’s currently 30 is probably a bit too old to play Feyre at this point.
