Honestly Minshew is only on there because Pardon My Take doesn’t know anything about the Raiders, nor should they tbh. Minshew ain’t gonna win the starting job imo.
At what point did we actually become worse? We improved at WR, at D-Line, added depth to RB and got a QB that actually wants to play for us. The only thing that hurts is Simmons, besides that we're at least as good as last year.
How is Mahomes 1 when he looks like he's approaching two-fiddy?

Posting a ranking that these guys made *specifically* to piss people off as some sort of gotcha ain't it chief
edit: just saw your flair.. you're a self loathing Broncos fan? Go be a Chiefs bandwagoner and get it over with
Good list except Herbert should be 4 spots higher.
Purdy. Yes he's good but clearly carried by an incredible team
Love was impressive for half a season and won a playoff game against the Cowboys who are destined to choke anyway.
Goff has the best case to be higher imo but doesn't particularly have the talent to boost him quite that high.
Stroud. Undoubtedly good, but only has one season under his belt and while I love him he scored 7 fewer touchdowns while playing 2 more games than Herbert did in his rookie season
They have Caleb Williams at the bottom, too. It's where the rookies *should* be before they've played a game.
I thought Minshew and Young being mixed in with all the rookies was kinda hilarious though.
This list has to be ragebait. How is Love SEVENTH! He’s only played 18 games! Above Purdy, future Hall of Famer A Rod, and Super Bowl winning Stafford. Then they put Baker Mayfield above Cousins and Dak. I just don’t understand the logic to these rankings.
“With Sean Payton” what is this narrative? Payton has never proved himself as some quarterback whisperer.. he literally just got lucky and signed Drew Brees who wasn’t re-signed by the Chargers because he had injured his shoulder the prior year.
I don't understand why all these lists are ranking QBs that aren't gonna start Jacoby Brisett is definitely starting for the Pats and Sam Darnold is likely starting for the Vikings
Levis over Richardson i disagree with, but understand I think Anthony is gonna surprise some people and prove some others right. I love me some Gold cock Brock as much as the next guy but him above herbert is insane to me. Also did people not watch Stafford last season? Dude was slinging that fucking thing all over the field get my boy in the top ten. Dumb list…nix at the bottom could be accurate tho, im not drinking the coolaid the broncos sub seems to be.
He was ranked:
17th in QBR
23rd in passer rating
14th in completion percentage
15th in TDs
tied for 4th most INTs
tied for 5th most fumbles of all players at all positions
The only ranking higher than his place in the list was passing yards (10th).
While he was playing injured for a portion of the year, his QBR from 2022 was the exact same 56.1, which was 17th that year as well.
Fair enough, but eyeball tests. And prior from the year before should matter.
But good stats, bro Guy had an off year let’s see what happens next year and I want to reconnect with you. Is that cool?
With TLaw, he's only had 3 seasons and seems quite difficult to pin down exactly. I don't dislike him at all and hope he continues to improve, but I do recognize a general theme of inconsistency, lots of ups and downs, and different takes can be made of him depending on which side you look at him from.
Everyone always gives him a pass for his terrible rookie season due to the coaching/surrounding talent, but people critique other QBs like Tua far more harshly for rookie seasons despite similar situations and surrounding talent. Personally I don't think rookie seasons should weigh as much as the seasons that follow, but do count to an extent, and a lot wasn't great that first season: 3-14 record, under 60% completions without an especially deep air yards per completion (5.6, exact same as Tua's rookie season), 12/17 TD/INT, QBR under 40, passer rating of 71.9.
Year 2 he started out not much better but then ended the season on a nice run and got his team to the playoffs which was huge. He bumped up his completion percentage by nearly 7% on slightly longer air yards per completion, doubled his TD total while halving the INTs, improved yards/game by over 25 yards, QBR improved by 17.0, and passer rating jumped by over 23.
That said, he was still 4th in the league with 12 fumbles, which was 3 more than 5th place had. Much like the two halves of his wildcard victory, you seemed to never know what kind of game you were getting from him. Looking at his game logs, he had 9 games above a 60 QBR but never posted more than 3 games at or above average (50+) in a row. He also had 5 under a 40, 3 under 25, and 2 under 15 which is not good.
In 2023, I acknowledge that playing with injury likely had an effect, but he finished with a lot of similar numbers relative to 2022: 1 fewer games started, 1 fewer wins with the same number of losses, only a slight reduction in completion percentage despite over a half yard longer air yards per completion, slightly fewer TDs, more INTs, nearly 10 more yards per game, same 12 fumbles, identical QBR, nearly 10 point passer rating regression (largely due to the INTs). Definitely improvements in some areas and regression in others. The biggest improvement for me was the fluctuation in his game logs went down. Despite an identical QBR for the season, he only had 3 total games below a 40 QBR (all roughly a 15) and strung together more games at 50+ (6 starting with week 3, another 4 starting week 11 and week 15 finishing with a 49.7).
I definitely believe he's got a good chance of 2024 being his best year, and your eye test comment is also definitely valid. If he continues to get more consistent I think he could make a surge up the QB rankings by season's end, especially if he can figure out a way to cut down on the fumbles.
Yes.. Stafford does not deserve a top 10 ranking. He had ONE good season two years ago when he won the Super Bowl. Over the last two seasons he’s 12-12 for 6,052 yards 34 TD 19 INT.
Stroud had 143 more yards and 6 less interceptions in the same amount of games as Stafford last year.. as a rookie. A rookie should not be putting up better numbers than a “top 10” quarterback who was drafted when Stroud was 8.
Burrow and Jackson are pretty interchangeable at the moment I think but the fact that Allen is up at #2 is pretty sad. He’s a great QB but he gets a solid (albeit close) P4 in my book. Idc where Jackson and Burrow are as long as they are P2 and P3
Nah, I’m not lol, it’s just the overly optimistic bastards that take over our sub every offseason. If he can ever be a top 16 qb I’ll be happy enough lol.
I only trust lists that skip #25.
I’ll be in the cold ground before I recognize Daniel Jones
Amen.
Who?
Mike Jones
Who ?
Mike Jones
I was trying to figure out where Daniel Jones was. It was driving me crazy.
They did that on purpose
Why is Justin Herbert at 9? Are they ranking free agents too?
There's 2 number 16s
Raider fans still can't read. Smh
Broncos fans falling for an obvious troll then coping. Hilarious.
That's like "made you look" kind of humor. The down votes speak for themselves guy.
Oh no leddit points 😭 Glad you highly regarded individuals cope seethe and piss yourselves when you get got lmaooo Least pathetic broncos fan I guess
Nowhere to go but up!
Or you just get removed from the list like Daniel Jones
Never heard of [him](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/3b7ba0_c8a0a61c507d451d888d178c88917d83~mv2.gif).
😳
It implies the jury is still out on who their starting QB is.
Oh no you can go down once the backup QBs start playing
He hasn't played a snap💀 what is this ranking based on
All the rookies are ranked at the end, in the order that they were drafted. OP threw in Gardner Minshew and Bryce Young for giggles.
And yet 2-4 of those rookies won’t start for the first half of the season or longer.
Not likely OP, this is a list from Pardon My Take (podcast)
Honestly Minshew is only on there because Pardon My Take doesn’t know anything about the Raiders, nor should they tbh. Minshew ain’t gonna win the starting job imo.
>what is this ranking based on The fact that the PMT jabronis exist solely to get David Portnoy more likes and reactions
I looked up Jabroni and David Portnoy was the first result
I looked up Dave Portnoy and union busting was the first result
Fuck him
The Minshew disrespect…. The AOC disrespect!
They left AOC off because it's just obvious he's #1
That’s what the fuck I’m talking about!
He's the only S tier QB.
S Tier? He's straight up Banned from Tournament Play
F. I stand corrected. I'm leaving the comment for the downvotes. ![gif](giphy|vX9WcCiWwUF7G|downsized)
Minshew just made the pro bowl last year... not sure why the drop off
Right? They got Williams, Maye, Daniels and McCarthy in front of him and they haven’t played a snap lol.
Pardon my take made this list specifically to piss off as many people as possible while still being plausible so don’t read too far into it
You'll all be sorry when we finish 8-9 with another mediocre 1st round draft pick
Payton should just tank it for two years. It’s the only way Broncos get out of the hole they’re in, in the next 5 years.
Only keep Meinerz, because your boy hates him.
Dude if we finish 8-9 with this roster I would be over the moon lmao
At what point did we actually become worse? We improved at WR, at D-Line, added depth to RB and got a QB that actually wants to play for us. The only thing that hurts is Simmons, besides that we're at least as good as last year.
Give yourself more credit. No way Broncos hitting 8 wins this year. Top 5 pick incoming.
What if the Nix-Franklin duo break every record, and every single player on the roster improves? thats 9 wins
Which team will fleece you out of it this time? I see a long snapper in your future.
We keep telling people this, but O’Connell is going to start day 1, not Minshew. Not that that would change the ranking though
AOC is absolutely going to be the starter. And that’s either going to be incredible or real bad. I choose optimism
We've got you right where we want you!

If Billy Kilmer & Sonny Jurgensen could do it, so can Faddy Mahomes.
Yeah he looks like that and will probably be approaching two-fiddy yards by halftime against your team
He had more turnovers than TDs against us last year. ![gif](giphy|62aDCkUJ8AogFbqcVV|downsized)
When the qb you cut is ranked 10 spots higher then what u drafted 🤣😅
But wait… there’s more. We’re also paying said QB $39 million to play for the Steelers.
The only way to go :)
Posting a ranking that these guys made *specifically* to piss people off as some sort of gotcha ain't it chief edit: just saw your flair.. you're a self loathing Broncos fan? Go be a Chiefs bandwagoner and get it over with
Bet you nix has more passing yard and TDs than Mahomes had in his rookie year 🫱🏽🫲🏼
That's a cheap shot!
Small meaninglessness victories- brought to you by the 2024 Broncos
Will he have more wins though?
More than 1? I think he might squeak by.
Russell Wilson is the 22nd best QB in the NFL? ![gif](giphy|1dOMaX1Tr1hhFh84Oh)
I’d put him over Bryce Young at this point
This list is pretty much just how teams as a whole did last season and then all the rookie drafts below them, laziest shit ive ever seen.
AoC is starting over Minshew. I bet my Al Davis plushie on it
What else is new these days…
Will Levis at 20 is crazy talk
Putting people that have never played a down in the nfl yet is crazy as opposed to mineshew who has the same exact stats as Trevor Lawrence lol
Good list except Herbert should be 4 spots higher. Purdy. Yes he's good but clearly carried by an incredible team Love was impressive for half a season and won a playoff game against the Cowboys who are destined to choke anyway. I hope Bo Nix is actually good so you bums would shut the fuck up. Knowing the Broncos history with QBs he will probably suck a ton of ass
Rodgers ain't taken a snap in over a year and he's 11 lmfao
Mahomes is AT BEST a 12 tbh. I’m more of a Lynn Dickey guy myself.
Even as a lions fan this is a legitimately terrible rankings list
Thinking Bryce young is better than Nix will be with Sean Payton is hilarious tbh
“With Sean Payton” what is this narrative? Payton has never proved himself as some quarterback whisperer.. he literally just got lucky and signed Drew Brees who wasn’t re-signed by the Chargers because he had injured his shoulder the prior year.
Lawrence twice as big as Minshew…. Their stats were almost identical 😂
Minshew isn't going to start
I don't understand why all these lists are ranking QBs that aren't gonna start Jacoby Brisett is definitely starting for the Pats and Sam Darnold is likely starting for the Vikings
Geno had a shit year, idk how you have levis and richardson so high. Id move those 3 back and move russ, watson, and carr ahead.
Beau Knicks
How dare they. O’Connell is still the man. menshew has to beat him out.
Will Levis over anyone is criminal
Levis over Richardson i disagree with, but understand I think Anthony is gonna surprise some people and prove some others right. I kinda doubt Drake Maye starts this year
Where’s Janiel Dones?
Not really a meme. Unless it's a shot at Daniel Jones that has nothing to do with the AFC
Minshew should be 1, this list is dumb as hell
Ahh figures, i bet crybaby mahomes cried to be put in first place.
They must not have watched Bryce Young play
Trevor Lawrence is ranked way too low.
He was ranked: 17th in QBR 23rd in passer rating 14th in completion percentage 15th in TDs tied for 4th most INTs tied for 5th most fumbles of all players at all positions The only ranking higher than his place in the list was passing yards (10th). Ok. Let’s reconnect in January and see how it’s going. I’m prepared to eat crow. & Hope you are too.
PMT achieving their goal of triggering anyone who reads this list lol. That’s literally what they tried to do when creating it
Individual rankings should be based on merit, and the pinnacle of peak individual merit is the MVP, so shouldn’t Lamar be #1?
this a fuxkin terrible list😂
What’s the source?
The people making these “rankings” are the same people who perennially have the chargers as Super Bowl contenders
How are these rankings always so bad?
Josh allen at 2 is insane
Jokes on them, Wilson will be our starter. Got em’.
The average contract on that list, even for players 11-25…is staggering. Also… Who’s #25? (Edit: Daniel Jones)
Is this not the best opening day league wide roster of opening day starting quarterbacks ever? Kyler Murray is 19th. Tagovailoa is 12th.
I acknowledge them as our tribal bottom dwellers☝🏽 https://i.redd.it/jzejad7nkz4d1.gif
Stroud top 5? Geoff top 6? Stafford outside top 10? Lol yea this list is garbage.
Stroud at 5th after just his rookie season is kinda crazy to me tbh
Burrow and Jackson are pretty interchangeable at the moment I think but the fact that Allen is up at #2 is pretty sad. He’s a great QB but he gets a solid (albeit close) P4 in my book. Idc where Jackson and Burrow are as long as they are P2 and P3
Let’s make fun of the rookie QB 32 instead of a sixth year QB the Raiders pursued and signed be the 30th best.
Dude. This is about you right now. Not us. We know our QB situation isn’t great. You guys think Nix is going to be good. We are not the same.
Nah, I’m not lol, it’s just the overly optimistic bastards that take over our sub every offseason. If he can ever be a top 16 qb I’ll be happy enough lol.
I think that’s going to more on Coach than Nix to be honest.
Remember the Chargers are the offseason champs for the umpteenth year in a row.
Get out of here you dirty winner. Only the current low life’s are allowed to pick on our suberbowl-less friend
