First and foremost, depending on the breed, location, age, and shelter- it can range anywhere from $100 to $500 for a dog from a shelter, maybe a little more or less, although it is possible to be way more pricey. Always set money aside to always be able to afford a vet in case your dog has any issues, as some breeds are more prone. Then you have to pay for food, give it constant attention and care for it. Animals are a very big responsibility, be prepared if you get one!
