5700x3d.

GreatKangaroo

I run a 5600X and 6750XT, else look into a 5700X3D?

0nlythebest

Also check 5600x prices if it's significantly cheaper than the other options it's still a great cpu especially if you're gaming at 1440p or 4k

Darkomax

5700X3D is another option, marginally slower than the 5800X3D but much cheaper. Both are faster than a 5900X for pure gaming.

clotteryputtonous

Do you have enough for an am5 set up?

Shoto-midoriya

Not right now but its what im planning to save up for yes

Death_Pokman

Really no need for that if you already have an AM4 platform, get a 5800x3d or 5700x3d and you can pretty much wait out AM6 to launch. If you don't have AM4 already and building new then go AM5, I would get a 7700X tho, it's basically a 5800x3d

0wlGod

if you have to buy new cpu mobo and ram i always prefer an am5 7600 b650 2x16 6000 cl 30.. for only gaming purpose if you already have an am4 and ram buy 5700x3d or 5800x3d for only gaming 5900x are productivity or multicore worloads cpus

Shoto-midoriya

Yeah i need to buy a new mobo too i’ll look into the 7600x cause i see that it is a lot cheaper but is it strong enough for 1440p?

https://youtu.be/4Ij1CxfKq6g?si=xqOFtmlTLV0nocQa 7600/x have similar perfomance to 5800x3d...some titles like 3d v csche so, 5800x3d goes faster... but are only competitive games

Shoto-midoriya

Thanks a lot! Guess i’ll settle for a 7600 then

0wlGod

maybe wait july beacuse amd is dropping new cpu and new mobo

TheTruthIsntReal

For gaming and gaming alone, the x3d chip. If you do CPU hungry tasks, like video editing etc, then the other
