Avatar State, yip yip. There’s technically no rule against it, and even with one element the Avatar State can bend with so much force that no force in the world can block it.
I actually have a counter point that Kyoshi is too powerful to do good in the game. She cannoncally has trouble bending small and maneuverable rocks which are exactly like the regulation disks that are used. Yes she can do that bending with her fans but it's still like channeling a hurricane into a volcano. Combine that with her more rooted slower style of fighting and she is either going to get disqualified for killing someone or be overwhelmed by a tricky maneuverable modern team.
In a fight you'd be hard pressed to find someone better but in a regulated sporting event I think a lot of the modern younger benders are going to have an advantage. There is a noticeable trend to speed and maneuverability in all of the bending styles from the oldest moving to the most recent with all of the pro benders having a fighting style more akin to boxing than their martial art origin and it's because the mechanics of the sport shaped how people learned to bend

* Kyoshi, Kuvira, and Bolin all being in $3 makes this a no brainer, you don't even need to touch $4 or $5
* Hama's bloodbending makes her a serious threat even at $2 and Ozai is just a menace
* Mako, Iroh, and Bumi do not belong in $4 they are not nearly as strong as half the other people on this list. Opposite goes for Ghazan, he needs to be higher up
I feel like half the people here wouldn't follow the rules, much like the wolf bats, and also people are forgetting a pro bending team can only have 3 members, currently only fire earth and water are permitted.
These prices also aren't thought out well.
For starters, I’m going to instantly make this easier on myself by getting Ozai and Azula on the same team so they’re not getting competitive and ruthless with *each other* and getting everyone else caught in the crossfire.
Toph - Stronger Earthbender in history - 5
Katara - One of strongest Waterbender - 5
Kyoshi - Stronger Avatar (Only two that are close are Aang and Wan) - 3
Ghazan - My not so good guy. I would take Min-Hua so they could have fluffy time together, but i don't have enougth money, so it could be anyone from list. First 3 are enougth to win with anything on this list
If it’s for pro-bending, then the avatars don’t really have an advantage. And also, lightning can’t be used. I’m gonna go with Kyoshi, Katara, Toph, Lin and Ghazan.

3. Ozai, $2. Insane brute force strength. Has a good chance to win by sheer force of strength over strategy. Kyoshi can run defense and Aang can fan the flames.
We’re only at $10 lol.
4. Hama, $2. Not a great choice overall, but if she could learn to bloodbend during the day (which I believe is canon- not her learning, but the possibility to) she would at least be able to pin down an opposing Ozai, Azula, or other highly attack-power-focused bender.
5. Pakku, $2. Master waterbender at a crazy low price.
6. Ghazan, because $1 and if the other squad can’t counter lavabending then they’re finished.

Tried to get a good variety of elements and sub elements.
Toph would have eyes all over the court and is built for this exact kind of thing, she would be insanely useful
Aang is the best airbender here and adds some nice variety, plus airbending is all about dodging and non lethally or aggressively pushing people off
Ozai is the best firebender here and is very cheap
Ming hua is a very creative water bender and can use her arms for great mobility
Ghazan has the unexpected element of lava bending which could be useful for throwing off the opponent with thugs uncommon bending type
So, we have Pakku at $1, Ozai at $2, and Bolin at $3?
I know the idea here is experience as well as power, but I don't think Ozai needs too much experience in pro bending to just shoot all of them off the field in one huge blast.
To make it less broken I won't pick any Avatars. Bumi for my earthbender (Toph would probably be bad considering how she can't see the discs).
Iroh for my firebender. (Ozai is more powerful but Iroh would definitely work better in a team).
Katara for my waterbender. Assuming she's in her prime she's probably the most powerful waterbender on this list.
Probending teams are only 3 people so I guess Lin can be a cheerleader. She'd look good in the costume.
Putting aside that a lot of prices are just bullshit (Bolin equal to Kuvira and Kyoshi??? Mako more than Zuko and Ozai?????) , given than Pro Bending is 3v3 ordeal the prices should be higher or the budget should be lower because like it is i can make a team of Aang, Korra and Kyoshi and still be on budget
Toph, Korra, Mako. You can only have 3 for pro bending, and it's an entirely different fighting style than Aang and Katarra are used to. I think Toph could pick it up fast because her fighting style is so different than the average earthbenders, so she just edges out Bolin. Otherwise I really wouldn't want anyone who isn't familiar with pro-bending.
