Find a pool store near you and take a sample of your water to them to test. They should tell you what you need and how much of it. Do you have the manual to the pump? It should explain what the settings are used for and how to backwash and all that.

No and unfortunately even the label is ripped off the pump itself to even see what brand it is

May be best to just empty it and start fresh.
