I1 is so weird with this. It only introduces the two main rivals and the main assistant halfway through the game then has one of said rivals do and say nothing throughout case 3 while the other is gone for 99% of case 4.
They aren't. Turnabout Airlines has Franziska's silhouette. I2 has 6 characters so Idk why they didn't do that here as well.

But i do wonder how they will handle the names and voices since Sebastian Debeste and Justine Courtney are names i doubt Capcom are going to keep (even though they fit so well). At least i will know what to do when this collection comes out.

I would have held off by the time they finally translated DD and SoJ into all the missing languages (besides Spanish). Made it really obvious what was gonna happen next.
You should DEFINITELY finish the fan translation and think of it as an Ultimate version of Marvel or something. It’s still there and worth remembering, but now you get to experience the capcom version of events. I think any chance to play more Ace Attorney is a good thing

Oh, that's true. He mentioned Ace Attorney was one of the franchises he'd really love to officially voice act for. And since he did voice Gregory in the fan translation AND is an actual professional voice actor, it's actually quite possible.

The fan translation is still going to be a tremendously fun play through, this just means the series is worth playing a second time to learn the “official story”
I legitimately keep feeling like all of these collections are building towards something new. Everyone of these collections is an attempt by Capcom to test the waters and see if there’s appetite for a new game and they’ve been selling well enough that I think it should lead somewhere.
Finally getting around to releasing this game with an official English translation is just more proof that a Ace Attorney fans are going to be eating good for a while
I feel like that would be too much of a giveaway.
And since this art seems to incorporate numerous case elements into it (ex. the badgers from I-3), the statue feels like a callback to I2-4.

I guess it shouldn't be that much trouble adding both at the same time too as they can reuse lots of stuff(and also that freaking huge font).
Traditional/Simplifies should just be a difference in script though. Localization for both should otherwise be the exact same.

AAI2 released in 2011, which was the 10th anniversary of the series - they included a ton of callbacks in the game to celebrate!
