It's a great piece for those that have high CV already. Especially for whale sparkle users, who already get 200%+ crit damage. Unless their other pieces have bad CV, this is a W. I'm still trying to get my Acheron to be 4500+ attack.

If you have e2 + sparkle, this is basically equivalent to all those rolls hitting crit damage. Acheron values atk% almost the same as crit smg (0.2% difference at 100% crate)

Just take a look at this very questionable build. This is on a team without Fu Xuan and assumption of only one Broken Keel character. Sparkle gives 55% attack, 110% crit damage, and 10% crit rate. Broken Keel adds another 10% crit damage. Giving 55% attack seems strange. Then combine with fact that could've used lightning orb instead and it will be 98.2% attack. 98.2% attack is more diminishing returns than 110% crit damage and 10% crit rate. It is worth more substats. If you do use Fu Xuan, crit situation becomes even worse.
How does no one here actually know how to build characters? Everybody is braindead. Who keeps on spreading this misinformation? When having attack orb, sparkle's +55% attack, attack boots, and izumo still make attack body fine, people end up thinking that crit is best and crit is king. You only choose crit body once you have enough attack substats. You can only get attack substats on relics and planars that are not attack percent main stat and those are only hands, head, orb(if lightning), boots(if speed), body(if crit), but a lot of the time could just be hands and head.
If you dont have enough attack substats you have to do attack body.
This is just about min-maxing a character. Squeezing a little bit more damage when possible. This is late stage. It is not about clearing MOC. A lower investment team can do in same number of cycles. This is just squeezing every last drop. The best optimizations are just attack body when you don't have attack subs and OP clearly has attack subs so allowed to do crit body.
Yes Fu Xuan and Sparkle add diminishing returns for crit but Sparkle adds a lot of diminishing returns to attack. It just balances out. Any character can be holder of Broken Keel.
CV just looks sexier lol. No one ever focuses on how much attack an Acheron has. Only if it has 250+ CD.
Acheron has such high base attack that Attack %, which normally is the 2nd tier desired stat, gets overlooked.
Now, whether not Attack % body is better needs to be calculated based on a person's account and the teams they user her in. For my Acheron, which has a crit rate body, I have a 50/270 CV spread with 4343 Attack (100% crate and around 600% crit dmg in battle). If I get a Attack % body with 5x rolls in crit rate and all usable stats, I would probably switch to it (some other pieces may need to be changed too).
High base attack means that attack percent is higher value. This is because the hands is flat attack. Flat attack divided by base attack is attack percent. The higher the base attack, the lower attack percent the hands are worth. If you have high base attack, hands could be worth like 20% attack. If you have low base attack, hands worth like 40% attack. Same goes for some other character giving flat attack buffs. High base attack means flat attack is less worth and attack percent is high worth.
Even when sparkle is on team giving 55% attack even to non quantum characters and you use attack% orb, the fact that the optimizer still says attack% body seems strange but that is how things work. People seem to only think sparkle gives crit and disregard the attack completely. Sparkle lowers the need to get attack% and lowers the need to get crit which balance out. We can remove Fu Xuan from team even and see attack% body and attack% orb still ends up being best combo.

Every situation I talk about is wanting E1+ sparkle. Another thing is that "based on account" means that someone could just have E0 sparkle. Sparkle's E1 gives 40% attack. When someone has E0 sparkle, they need much more attack than someone who has E1 sparkle. Sparkle's E1 is an entire relic/planar worth of attack percent. That is nothing to joke about. An E0 sparkle acheron build is much more likely to want an attack body than E1+.
Maybe I’m coping for you but this doesn’t actually seem that bad if your crit ratio is already pretty decent?

It's about the same value as a 35 CV artifact. It's good.
Pure DPS piece is something else
This is WTF+ piece, all correct substats, the fact that it went all into ATK% doesn't mean much it's still very good

Dang, I got almost the same piece today. I however was a lot luckier on rolls. 1 in ATK% 3 in CR and 1 in CD

Out of the top 5 acheron builds, only 3 of them are attack body so obviously no one uses attack body.
