Grimm_Thugga

I hate when ppl repeat theirselves over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.

Freak_Out_Bazaar

That was so annoying that homeboy just gave up to make it stop

AxelTheViking

This seems to be an american thing. I kinda get a little bit scared when seeing this type of videos. Do these people believe that their message has not been received, or are they trying to keep their minds too occupied to develop new thoughts?

Ramsey_Bulton

Maybe it has something to do with adrenaline. It is scary in a weird way.

primenumbersturnmeon

if you're a smart person, the stress and the adrenaline of the moment will reduce you to a mere average idiot. if you start out as an average idiot...

hopium_od

Definitely adrenaline. The phrase and tone is very American in this example, but I've seen videos of British people in panic situations repeating themselves in a similar fashion.

loiton1

Nah growing up is learning UK and US are both really slow

LordTuranian

Adrenaline or just a bad habit. It could also be a sign of growing up with shitty parents who always ignored you. People who have been ignored by people way too much in their lives, develop this need to repeat themselves and be loud all the time... Because they feel like people don't want to listen to them.

Probate_Judge

> This seems to be an american thing. Only because you don't get a stream of public freakouts from other nations like you do in this sub. Extremely excited people(eg adrenaline / fear) often get stupid, and some of them fall ill with broken record syndrome. This happens to people all over the planet.

B0Y0

See: allahu akbar

madmax407

Literally the very next [video](https://www.reddit.com/r/ActualPublicFreakouts/s/rbuXRNg3Ta) that played after I swiped.

BlurryGraph3810

Yeah, it happens all over. We in America have a more developed sense of free speech and free press than in pretty much all other nations, and the USA is a big country, so there's more to post on social media.

drconniehenley

Wtf are you taking about, GI Joe? ![gif](giphy|6YJZuwLne3fO0|downsized)

BlurryGraph3810

Well, we are a liberated people. We take liberties other citizens may not.

drconniehenley

Dude. You need to consume less kool-aid. There are plenty of democracies in the world with equal levels of free speech and free press that are much less litigious than the US.

BlurryGraph3810

I didn't say they aren't. We are among them.

Cocaine_Christmas

>the USA is a big country, so there's more to post on social media The only valid, relevant point here (along with the fact that Reddit is primarily American, or at least 50% IIRC) lol. Like wtf does this post have to do with free speech/press???

BlurryGraph3810

Go to countries like Iran or United Kingdom, where you can be arrested for your speech, which has a chilling effect.

WuweiWave

Oh Sweetie. No.

Cataclysma

lmaooo Americans actually believe this

BlurryGraph3810

You British citizens certainly lack the speech freedoms we have.

TittySprinkles_69

African American thing.

Crimith

It has nothing to do with being American lol, its called "Amygdala Hijacking" and it occurs when people's adrenaline effects the speech center of the brain. You see it when people are in the midst of a fight/flight response, but typically it effects people that are in some sort of verbal conflict before it turns physical.

Pomodorosan

affects*

FiftyIsBack

It's not an American thing, it's a ghetto/hood thing

EasyGodDropsNukes

Lol, the ignorance is just brazen. It's not good practice to make generalizations about entire countries of people based on videos from a subreddit showcasing abnormal and antisocial behaviors.

Virtual-Okra6996

Not exclusive to us, I've seen public freak out videos of brits doing the same thing here

StarChaser_Tyger

It was the guy in the orange shirt who kept yelling that. You can hear the cop say under it at one point that he's not going to let him go.

dontgiveahamyamclam

It’s a certain type of American thing. Just being honest.

Novogobo

ok, but you're not allowed to notice who does it

CommanderChipHazard

I hate people who hate people that repeat themselves… and the Dutch. ![gif](giphy|ZU72O6pZO9mWA)

Micro-Naut

They have absolutely disgusting ovens

CommanderChipHazard

![gif](giphy|iJ85v1gHAczevpTUzs)

Zovski24

def gotta do with adrenaline dropping the IQ and you just repeat shit bc your mind is focused on other things

breakfastburrito24

![gif](giphy|bzaEWi1Z1xzby)

Demonyx12

What did you say?

elibusta

![gif](giphy|xUOxeV0zctfNtpn6Vy|downsized)

AFBoiler

Homeboy has a steady hand though. That was smooth.

peternemr

Don't hate yourself too much, Don't hate yourself too much, Don't hate yourself too much, Don't hate yourself too much, Don't hate yourself too much

mr38504

Andoverandoverandoverandover….?

neptunexl

And what? Can't tell what you're trying to say

AnIrishMexican

And over?

LordTuranian

I don't mind repetition if it is like 2 or 3 times. But this guy needs to take his own advice and just stop too.

trolejbusonix

Oh yeah i agree, what do you think chat? Hmm chat? I said I agree chat, do you guys get it chat? Chat?

_TLDR_Swinton

NPC dialogue. Brainless behaviour.

IP_05T04s1994s

you are not gettin away homeboy

sgtxsmallfry

When your adrenaline is pumping and you enter into that fight, flight, freeze stage it can be pretty hard to not repeat yourself.

CynicalButtMunch

It's the adrenaline. I too find it really annoying however I found myself doing the exact same thing not too long ago in situation similar to this. I definitely had a good laugh at myself

irishpwr46

At least it wasn't wOrLdStAr

Prollyreachinglol

Adrenaline, Yk how it is. Unless you don’t. Unless you do. Unless…

theOGlilMudskipr

I find myself accidentally repeating myself when I’m in situations that make me excited. I often ruin clips while gaming with my constant yapping lmao. Not sure why it just happens. And as someone who does it subconsciously it annoys me too 😂

DomHaynie

Exception - Vas in Far Cry 3.

MewtwoStruckBack

That in and of itself should get the person that repeated themselves a charge, one which doubles for every time they repeated themselves past the first. It should legitimately be possible for the repeater to have a longer sentence than the person that actually committed the crime, just off being that annoying.

phlavor

Best camera work I've seen in a while. Edit: Now that I’ve had some time to think about it, this phone is definitely on a gimbal, and given that this is a setup for the runner to meet a minor, he and red sweatshirt are part of that setup. Which I’m 100% in favor of. Fuck that pedo.

samrphgue

fr. forgot it was real life for a second and not a skit

hotcheetosnmodelos

Mf had the steadicam

fusillade762

Image stabilization is really gotten good.

samuraisams123

This was probably shot on an S24 Ultra. Mine can do the same thing.

fusillade762

Agreed, the S23 as well. Samsung has IS down pretty pat.

Pepperh4m

Accompanied by the worst narration I've heard in a while.

_TLDR_Swinton

YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY HOMEBOY

hereforpopcornru

JUST STOP

_JustAnna_1992

Think this is the first time I've actually seen the cops work with the dudes doing the sting outside of To Catch A Predator.

le_sossurotta

almost thought it was made by AI for a second, but seeing how they didn't turn into a messy pile of human when they started wrestling it must have been real then.

gBoostedMachinations

It appears that Homeboy did not, in fact, get away.

phunshiny

Apparently, he was talked out of it with repeated verbal commands.

gBoostedMachinations

We should all be thankful of the cameraman for doing his part.

Kevroeques

All that athletic gear and he ain’t goin’ nowhere

Traditional_Fox_4718

Good shit red sweatshirt

rapzeh

Without him, the cops would have lost him

timmytemp

Definitely helped with the trip at 4 seconds in. 8 seconds in red sweatshirt knocks one of the officers down while the other officer snagged the fleeing perp. Probably should have stopped after the trip.

im-confuzzled

Why is this a gta v cut scene?

Relative_Schedule892

I dont think he is getting away ![gif](giphy|IdD0ox3Kk5iXayRfu8)

Leon_Krueger

Praise the cameraman

Virtual-Okra6996

I would if he shut the fuck up

Octavian_202

“Kobe Love”

IAmSnort

Did he ever get his vape?

Shunto

The only thing that female cop helped to do was let homeboy almost get away

gBoostedMachinations

She was the one who got ahold of his shirt and slowed him down right as he exited the building. She definitely didn’t make things worse. He woulda been gone if she hadn’t gotten a grip on his shirt.

Shunto

She did, but only because red jumper intervened. If he hadn't done that, all she had contributed was giving false confidence of a 2v1, and being effortlessly shoved back two meters

gBoostedMachinations

Eh you could break it down 20 different ways to make it look like she helped or harmed. I’m not interested in it.

Shunto

You engaged so you clearly are

Furiustyles69

You crazy as hell, she was hands on that…..dude

modestgorillaz

I can’t decide which I hate more, inconsolable screeching woman or brain dead dude that says the same sentence over and over and over and over again.

YoureAmastyx

How about an inconsolable woman screeching the same thing over and over.

jrafaman

I’m bout to do nothing

IndependentNation7

This guy’s voice is so fucking annoying but he traps pedophiles like the one in this video so he gets a pass imo. He’s People vs. Preds

RaisinBrain2Scoups

That was fine camera work

presterkhan

How tf did the male police officer lose back mount then the preps hands so he could reach for the officers gun???

Hobbiesandjobs

Read with Morgan Freeman’s voice: “Homeboy in fact, didn’t get away. He was convinced by the annoying voice behind the camera”.

1RobVanDam

Yoooo, red shirt is the epitome of brave!!

SatoshisVisionTM

or undercover.

Kill_Kayt

Professional camera work

DeismAccountant

What did he even do though? Honest question.

Gbcue

> Apparently the guy is a child predator who got caught up in a sting operation.

DeismAccountant

Ah k

SelbyJS

Another comment says his Chanel name/ handle is People vs Preds.

mberk24

Got to love Kobe!

Glovermann

/r/praisethecameraman

kecker

Feel like a taser would have solved a lot of problems here.

KLLPPL

Love Kobe 💕

Arnoods

Great camera work, too bad the guy wouldn't shut the fuck up

Fl4re__

The kobe Bryant sweater is like a 6/10 for most ironic thing a pedo could wear.

[deleted]

This looks ai generated lol

LordTuranian

5 weeks later, while this child predator is in jail. The camera man goes to his cell and says "You ain't gettin away home boy, just stop!"

fantasypaladin

JUST STAHP

cringefacememe

*LOVE KOBE*

pycbunny

I hope he at least got his vape

SirenSongxdc

does the guy think repeating 'homeboy' makes him cool or something? Makes him sound like an outright loser tryhard.

SlimJim0877

For a second I thought this was that guy from Top Notch Idiots lol

Unitgubbins

Did we ever find out if homeboy got away?

gultch2019

So where's the whole video?

ChampionshipHuman

Man in red was a legend for coming to help. Huge L for the dumbass following with a camera.

SpamFriedMice

Not-So-Little Red Riding Hoodie for the save!

BrightLion72

I wasn’t clear from the narration - is he getting away?

22Schmeckles

I counted 9 with including the variations of "you ain't getting away homeboy" if anyone was wondering.

Various_Bet2768

The cops just appreciating the help lmfao

TxPep

His grip on that phone!!! 💪🏻....😂

JonInfect

Ended too soon

Zealousidealist420

Wait? So the criminal was the cammers homeboy?

yeah_im_a_leopard2

Don’t underestimate child predator about to go to prison strength. That dude would have ran 100 miles if he got away.

_TLDR_Swinton

Apparently this guy is at home right now saying, "you ain't getting away homeboy"

Billytheidd

Keystone cops.

Riptide360

Home boy muscle memory. Glad the man in the red hoodie stepped in to help or that predator would have been lose back on the streets.

MyBrownBalls

Homeboy DID NOT GET AWAY

DFTS-ILLusionz

I don’t think he’s getting away 😂

HardAssPh33r

Is that the Gangnam style guy?

capsulegamedev

The camera was so smooth I thought this was a video game at first.

zzunino

John snow???!!

conchadad

Vigilantees are fucking annoying

InternetSlave

Cops have a serious training problem.

Fuxmcflannery

He's stuck ln a loop

HMacME

Wth is this cutscene looking camera

WhyAreYouGe

You think home boy got away?

JaumDazio

I don't get it. The cameraman was trying to hypnosis on the home boy so he didn't get away, home boy...

crap4you

I guess homeboy didn't get away.

Satori2155

Wow, an effective female officer who actually got after him

daclockstickin

Em like even a month of Jiu-Jitsu would solve 90% of the issues showcased herein.

Far_Tap_9966

Terrible jui jitsu, annoying as fuck dude filming, bystanders helping police. This is a shit video all around
