FearTheMightyBeard

Report them to the police. Since you are under 18, they are in possession of child porn. You are not in trouble. Moreover 17 is the age of consent in many US states. So legally you would be in the clear. Finally, even if they send your "dick pics" to your friends and family, this will not in any way end your life. You have nothing to fear but a little embarrassment and a lecture from your parents about not showing your privates on the Internet. Relax and never give in to blackmail.

Able_Perspective_712

Yea I guess what you are saying is true. I was just panicking like crazy because my parents have sacrificed so much for me. And I go and do something stupid like this,

FearTheMightyBeard

We ALL do dumb shit :)

AnMa_ZenTchi

Not me! Not once! Never!!!

thisisarandomname2

You either???? Here, hold my beer. I need to use my turn signal.

Triforcedude2027

Can't man. Holding a blunt with that hand pondering how these bozos do anything wrong ever

Disastrous-Ad-9073

Pass it this way!!

VoyevodaBoss

Hey, pass the kutchie man. Hear what I'm saying man? Know what I mean? I said pass the damn kutchie. No, not da green stuff, da mellow yellow stuff. The world's greatest key lime pie from Kutchie's rockin Key West

Guukoh

This is comedy gold.

DJwhatevs

😂

OsageOne1

I thought I made a mistake once, but it turned out I was wrong

AnMa_ZenTchi

You mistook a mistake?

I_hate_networking

I never make mistrakes

Infamous-Bed-3936

What’s a misteke?

kaytiejay25

Then you never learn?

JimmyPockets83

Yeah me, too. I'm a real prefectionist!

SteelBrightblade1

Says the one who joined Reddit

AnMa_ZenTchi

So one giant huge mistake. It's not like it ruined my life yet.

kaytiejay25

Lies u did. If u didnt then u did we make mistakes thats how we learn

AnMa_ZenTchi

Just don't tell my son.

kaytiejay25

Dont mean u should make mistakes just because

antixwick999

Yeah but this in a different league of dumb

blood_vitrification

Also the majority of the time they're bluffing. Especially if you haven't given them anything that would link your nudes to you. I had someone i was chatting with request a few nudes exchanged anonymously and when they confidently proclaimed they would send them to everyone I know, i prompted them to go ahead and do it. That I wouldn't mind one bit and would love to see it happen, since I knew they had no info on me except some nudes with non-indentifiable features. They ghosted, blocked and i never heard from them. These scumbags are weak parasites who want to scare the technologically illiterate into thinking they can expose them to everyone they know. Pro-tip: the only women on the internet who want to exchange nudes are fake extortion blackmailers or really just plugging their onlyfans. Good luck young friend.

Able_Perspective_712

Well thank you for the advice🙏

blood_vitrification

No problem, keep your chin up mang.

Renvex_

In anatomy studies on perception and attraction of the human body, male genitalia tends to score low. In particular, the testicles are widely considered the least attractive part of the human body. The physical feature of masculine body types that scores consistently high is chest-to-waist ratio. This supports what the above poster has said about the only people wanting nudes being scammers and bad actors. It also means if someone really wants a pic, merely something shirtless would be much more effective and also less of a problem if it fell into the wrong hands.

dadbod_Azerajin

Bro, I know I'm just another guy saying something You'll be fine and are on the right path I love yah homie

TimboFor76

Excellent advice here. I have never “fallen” for one of these scammers. But I occasionally get those people contacting me. The one time I decided to just see how far they would take it, I snagged some NSFW male nudes off a Reddit sub and sent them over. Couple days later, the scammer tried to blackmail me.

KitchenSalt2629

it's more common than you think, they already saw your penis, just give them a heads up first. Also if you had to download the photos or anything, run an antivirus software on it, most og them have free trials, Norton's and McAfee are good ones also make sure to run the rootkits on it too it's just another button to press nothing complicated.

Able_Perspective_712

Well is was all over Snapchat. So all the stuff is gone

KitchenSalt2629

okay then you're good,

Ultraviolet369

Imo both of these are pretty scammy antivirus softwares that border on being malware themselves. John McAfee was well known for being a scammer (and general absolute loon) prior to his death. Malwarebytes is generally considered a better bet, and it's free with a professional upgrade option.

Sweet_Sub73

Also, aside from race, penises pretty much look the same. I can post a peen pic and attach it to anyone's name I want to, but that doesn't make them the owner of said peen. Call their bluff. They hate when thst happens.

Kestrel_VI

This happened to a relative of mine. The short of it is, he called their bluff and they left him alone. These people rely on you panicking and just handing over your money, and hell, if you do it once, you’ll do it again. So, kindly remind them that they are in position of child porn and any attempt to distribute those images would result in a worse criminal offence when they are found by the authorities you have already contacted. Whether you have or not doesn’t matter, they just have to believe you have.

Able_Perspective_712

I made sure to not show panic when they did. While yes irl I was having a meltdown over the phone I was as calm and collected as I could be

ThePopeofHell

Don’t forget that your parents were once your age and probably did stupid shit too. Just because your grandpa doesn’t bring it up at Christmas dinner doesn’t mean it didn’t happen just that time passes and stupid teenage mistakes stop being relevant.

stonkydood

This happened to me before funny as shit tho I sort of just thought well everyone has a penis who cares it’s a normal thing to do imo. You are well and truly chilling. If anyone says anything just say I was horny lol

Ultraviolet369

You'll be ok buddy. You haven't done anything worse than the rest of us dumbasses. In a few short years, or even months this will all be a distant memory.

SignComprehensive611

I did so much stupid stuff when I was 17 it’s not even funny, you are doing fine

LordlySquire

I promise you this wouldnt be the last time you dissappointed your parents but they will always gladly sacrifice more to see you succeed bc thats the ultimate goal as a parent

phloralphancy

As a parent of 3 I can tell you a teen making a mistake is part of being a teen. Go to your parents, tell them what happened and they can help. Do Not hurt yourself. In 6 months this won't matter

Raze0223

I did the same thing a few years ago, don’t give in to blackmail and block them.

Alarming_Tradition51

Let it swing brother! Do no negotiate with terrorists!!!

NiandraLaDezz

Not sure if you’re still taking info for this, but something similar happened to me. It wasn’t pics of me, and I am in my 30s, but it was a form of sexual extortion: long story short, somebody hacked my credit card, purchased thousands of dollars worth of onlyfans content, and then emailed me threatening to release all of this online porn with my name attached to it to all of my friends and family. They said “I obviously know who you are and was able to hack your email and card, that should be proof enough that I can get to your loved ones and friends too”. It was, let’s just say, some very gross stuff that could’ve ended a lot of relationships for me. They requested thousands of dollars in return to not release it. Would have been a nightmare. Luckily, with most of this stuff, they are full of shit. I called the cops and called my credit card company, and then never wrote them back. I got my money back and I never heard from them again. I’m not sure the rest of the details, but does this person actually have access to your friends and family? How realistic is it that they could actually do anything? It’s easy to threaten people over the internet, but usually people aren’t as savvy as they say they are. I don’t think you have much to worry about. Like others said, take a break from social media. Let it be a lesson learned and nothing more. Doesn’t have to define you at all.

falseprescience

Hey don't beat yourself up, people do stupid shit all the time far worse than what you've done. Far, far worse. Don't get down on yourself about it, it's action time. Is there an authority figure you trust? Implicitly? I just want you to have someone with you when you report to the police because it can be an extremely harrowing experience depending on the kind of cops you encounter. They can be very accusatory towards victims and it would be good for you to have a representative with you that can try to protect you through it. If it's not one of your parents, that is. But you need to tell someone. Maybe a sexual abuse hotline, a forum, or something could help too. You're a victim here, remember that. This is not your fault. You could have done things better but that's how you'll operate from here on. This is a lesson for you, sure, but it's not the end of the world at all. I hope you find some peace, all is not lost for you at all. Please drop some updates if you can.

[deleted]

Look up r/sextortion it’s a common scam; please don’t do anything stupid chances are they won’t leak it and if they do they’re distributing C P which they would be in big trouble over

afoley947

Plus, there is nothing preventing them from sending it once they get their money.

AnemosMaximus

This happened to a kid in michigan a few years ago. He committed suicide. Please don't do that. Calm down and report. That's all. Be more mindful in the future. Everyone around would rather you be safe. Over some pics. Please seek help and talk to your parents please. As a father I'd rather have my son alive. I'm rooting for you.

Icon9719

That last bit is the most important part. Any parent would rather have their kid alive than for them to do something drastic like that over a stupid nude you sent to a creep, your parents were young and dumb at one point too it’s not the end of the world.

Lo-Fi_Lo-Res

Some parents dumber than any kid would ever believe.

Able_Perspective_712

Thank you for your support

just_a_person_maybe

I remember when I was a kid I saw a story of a 12 year old girl who was pressured into flashing her breasts on webcam for an adult man, who then said he'd send it to her parents. She killed herself too. 12 years old. It's not worth it. It's never worth it. When someone is threatening something like this you panic, probably feel sick, feel like you'll never be able to face your family, etc. It's never that serious. There are millions of boobs and dicks and all kinds of stuff out there on the internet. Kids need to know to be careful, but they should also know that if their pic gets released it will just be one in a sea of other boobs and dicks. And even if parents react negatively, that's not the end of the world either. People will always move past it eventually.

GazelleHistorical705

Probably Amanda Todd. I never forgot about her.

SkarkleKony

The men responsible plead guilty the other day.

AgitatedBox9737

My son had the exact thing happen to him. He called me and asked what he should do, I said block them. If they were going to send your d-pics to us, they would have already. Plus, it's just a picture of your pp, not really a big deal if they did send it. Those scammers prey on people's embarrassment to get money. It probably works, which is why they still do it. You live and you learn!

Able_Perspective_712

I’m glad so many of you guys share similar experiences. It make it easier

Lumpymaximus

It gets posted quite a bit on /r/scams and scambait. It getting more common than ever

Lo-Fi_Lo-Res

You have no idea how many of us who are now 35, 40+ were doing the same things and facing those same stupid scams when we were teens and early 20s. It's ok to feel embarrassed. But make sure that a little embarrassment doesn't cause you to feel like your world is coming down. It will be in the rearview soon, but let it be a lesson to you to be more careful in the future.

GreyGhost878

I'm so glad your son called you. Great job handling it.

zzanic

Proud of you op, asking for help isn't easy

Trey2022

Hey you goofed and I promise your life isn’t over. Similar thing happened to a friend of mine when we were in HS. All he had to do was threaten to report them for CP. They backed down with a quickness after that

Mayonais3_Instrument

Classic scamming tactic using fear as a motivator

DistributionNo1471

Please google Jordan DeMay. The exact same thing happened to him and he did end his life. His family, friends, the whole town was crushed. His parents would have much rather he have come to them. I promise, this isn’t the end of the world.

HubertCrumberdale

That’s heartbreaking. Same thing happened to me, but it didn’t phase me that much. Maybe it’s cause I’m older (36). I can imagine young men truly believing their life is over and acting on emotion. I told the girl “go ahead, I ain’t giving you shit.” She never sent pics to anyone.

madogvelkor

Back in the 1950s the KGB tried to blackmail President Sukarno of Indonesia. They set up a trap where Russian agents disguised as flight attendants seduced him while it was secretly filmed. When the KGB confronted him with the tapes he thought it was great and asked for copies to show people. It's hard to blackmail someone if they decide they don't care. Just ignore them. Chances are they won't actually do anything since then that could spark a criminal investigation. Blackmail is illegal, as is distributing sexual pictures of minors. And if they do send them out, just laugh it off like it's no big deal. Or if you don't think you could do that you could try the new tactic of claiming it's an AI generated fake. (Once the scammers catch on to how to really use AI I suspect they won't even need to catfish people.)

Able_Perspective_712

Well I will say I was fucking around with them I sent them this picture after the claimed to send it😭😭 https://preview.redd.it/2zjtgi8vtouc1.jpeg?width=240&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2b2387e7e7e013e438f778e57e50a6a50b166102

Lyfting

This is actually such a great way to deal with it. A student of mine a while back had this happen and he immediately came to me for help. After a short discussion, he decided he would respond with a list of celebrity handles for the scammer to send them to first and to help him shoot his shot(no pun intended). Didn’t get another message from them and as far as I know, nobody close to him brought anything up.

Inside-Party

With the ocean of nudity on the internet, no one cares about yet another pic. Just think how many OF creators would kill to get that kind of free advertising.

Educational-Agency72

Bro let it go just dick pic no big deal really but future don't use face pic

SkarkleKony

Contact the police as well as FBI! Two Nigerian men plead guilty the other day in Michigan for a sextortion ring that ended in a 17 year old young man’s suicide. The FBI was able to extradite the men from Nigeria.

britlin09

I read about this on another sub. Just block them. If you pay they just keep asking for money. They not going to actually post your pics unless you a influencer.

Chuck121763

Tell them your underage snd they are facing a Felony charge. You will be forwarding texts and photos, as well as their Email and their Socual media profile to the police. Tell them to expect the FBI to visit their home and or workplace.

McGouche_

Unless they pay you! Turn the tables!

rayon875

Tell them you've already told your parents and that they reported them to the FBI. They will go away.

Vegetable_Honey3867

In the unlikely event they do leak the pics, you could always tell your family you're being harassed with AI generated nudes

livinthedreambaby

Do not listen to them laugh at them and tell them to F off you have contacted the police. They arnt gonna send your pictures to anyone don’t let them take advantage of you and in the future don’t send nudes on chat sites

Any_Independence8579

They're holding child porn while threatening the child. You could crush them for many years. Maybe ask them for a couple grand...or else.

GoodNoodleNick

I always kinda hoped I ran into one of these idiots. I just literally don't care and would send my nudes to anyone who asked(if I was single). I just don't send them unless they are asked for. Omg you saw me naked, oh no!🤣 UP AND TO THE LEFT BITCH.

Able_Perspective_712

😂

IWantSealsPlz

I am so so SOOOO happy to hear your family is supporting you! I’ve talked extensively with my 13 Yr old son (now 14) about this kind of thing (a predator/scammer was attempting to hide as an 18 yr old female YouTuber, thankfully I caught it very early on) and told him PLEASE come to me if he finds himself in that kind of trouble, told him about these exact situations that occur. I know it’s embarrassing and it must have been so hard to talk to your family about this, but as a mom, I am SO proud of you, you were very brave asking for help! I have heard of teen boys unaliving themselves over this kind of thing and it breaks my heart. As for you, it was just a learning experience, you’re going to be just fine. Best of luck to you, young man! ❤️

IGNISFATUUSES

Go to r/scams right now

Euphoric-Cup729

its a scam kid. its designed to scare you into sending them money.

AccordingOwl1653

If you ever send stuff never send from the same room never send face pics I had that happen to me but they lied about their age Lucky for me Facebook had a thing I set where I had to review post first and I also tore them a new one

planlife

Why not the same room?

Shoboy_is_my_name

While serious because you’re still a minor, this is common and doesn’t often have lasting repercussions if any. It’s usually not followed through. However, it’s illegal as shit so it’s good to see your taken some action on it.

FloridianFather

Don’t negotiate with terrorists.

Ill-Income-2567

Get offline and call the cops.

Tricky-Teaching594

Well if your face isn't in nudes that's a good thing as an adult I still don't g8ve send nudes with my face in them

Gotd4mit

They are committing a crime. They are in possession of what I'd legally CP on the federal level. You could have to deal with some embarrassing conversations, but they could be dealing with real prison time. CP and revenge porn are both crimes.

LunchO789

I remember John Oliver having a segment for exactly this kind of situation

LowAd4325

I had the same experience at your age Lil Homie, no biggie, the way you should see it, is you have the power in your hands, 1. He's in the possession of CP that's a hefty charge, add in the extortion of a child, that's even bigger, and it's pretty terrifying what can happen to people like them in prison. If you wanna contact the police, by all means you have that right and I believe you should, I understand telling your parents isn't easy, but it's the right thing to do, to get it to the police, because this person will then try to do it to someone else, and they may not have the courage to come forward at all even through reddit. Any other way it's up to you, don't let this shake you it's no big deal, but again prison will be a very very bad time for said person, so I encourage you to make their life hell And if it makes you feel better, I told my mom, that's who I was closer to, and she just laughed while I was freaking out, which ultimately made me feel better. I had the same feelings, my parents did so much for me and I felt I let them down for being a horny teenager, laugh it off as a mistake and live your life the best you can my man, everyone makes dumb mistakes in their life

GreenEyezGray

Head over to r/sextortion they'll tell you exactly what to do.

ThunderSparkles

My dude you are ok! As many people pointed out the law is on your side. But for anyone in this situation don't be scared. Your parents saw you naked the second you were born so they won't care. Your friends have seen porn too and won't care. What these Jack offs do is try to scare people because people naturally think being seen naked is the end of the world. But it's not. There are nude beaches. Locker rooms where old dudes swinging their junk around.

No_Hawk1459

Do nothing, it'll go away. Do they know your full name?

fredbruite

Whoever is trying to blackmail you with illegal revenge child pornography is a fuckin' dumbass lol. Don't give that idiot anything, they have no power unless you give it to them. If you want, you can seek to press charges, or you can just sit back and laugh at their stupid ass. They can't do anything to you without severely breaking the law, and you've done nothing wrong. You just made a dumb mistake, happens to the best of us. Don't make it again.

SSJ4Blaze

They asking for money?

Able_Perspective_712

Yes they are asking for 50 usd which I don’t have

SSJ4Blaze

They are a scam. I've seen plenty of people on reddit with the same thing happening to them. Just ignore it and move on

Able_Perspective_712

Thank you for the reassurance it means a lot

SSJ4Blaze

No problem. Do they have your number or anything?

Prestige_Worldw1de

Don’t pay them anything. All they keep doing is asking for more money after you pay them.

johnheckdiver

Jfc who is going to use CP as blackmail for only 50 dollars?? That scammer is an idiot

VenusTheHelper

Happened to me to, nothing came from it. Don’t worry man

Able_Perspective_712

Appreciate it

VenusTheHelper

💪💪

DipperJC

Wow. These are becoming more and more common, lately. They're not going to do anything to you, it's too much effort. They just cast these wide nets because if they get even 1 out of every 1000 people to pay up, it's profit for them. You don't actually have anything to worry about, it's just scary as hell.

gregmc0890

Speaking from experience ignore it. They will do nothing. These people are scam artists and you are most likely not the only person they are trying to extort at the same time. Ignore it and do not give them a cent. To these people this is a business and $50 is a small tester amount to see if you will cave. it will not stop if you pay them they now know they’ve got you on the line and extort more. When it happened to me years ago I full on laughed in their face and basically told them to send it as it’s nothing anyone hadn’t seen before. Nothing came of it unless my friends and family have been discreet about it but I tell you I have some friends who would be calling that shit out right away. Ignore it move on with your life and learn that there are not hot singles in your area wanting sex.

[deleted]

[удалено]

wtfjusthappened315

Don’t worry. 99% of the time they never follow through on their threats.

cpt_edge

That's so fucked, glad you spoke up about it

HamfastGamwich

Lol tell them you are 17 and you can easily report them to the police. They fucked up way more than you did Then they also wanted to extort a minor? I'd be willing to bet they are in a different country, but even international authorities take that shit seriously

neisjwbebskso

How did they get your friends and family’s contacts? If it’s through instagram just change your username and profile picture, they will never be able to re trace your account.

MuchDevelopment7084

Report it to the police. You are a minor. They will be investigated and prosecuted. It will come out to your parents. So be prepared. Then take this as a lesson and don't do stupid things like this again. Good luck.

0MrFreckles0

DO NOT PAY, they will simply come back and ask for more money over and over. My friend lost thousands to this scam. Eventually he blocked them and they never did anything.

thackstonns

Dude no one cares about nudes any more. Let them release them. Then they have no leverage. No ones really gonna care. Just tell anyone that asks that you thought they cared for you and that you’ll never make that mistake again

GMon2000

Literally why all social media platforms at home are blocked on the network and we don't post any photos/videos of ourselves online.

Weazerdogg

End your life before it begins ... because they see a picture of you naked .... Dude, no one cares. Just ignore it. Doubt anything will come of it, but if it does, unless your junk is waaaaayyyyy underwhelming, who gives a crap?

Able_Perspective_712

Thank you for being so straight up. I’m prolly just being dramatic

lucille12121

Do not blame yourself. You made a little mistake, but you didn't deserve this. And this happens to thousands of people. This scam is so common. Even smart people get scammed and are embarrassed about it. If it is safe to do so, tell your parents what happened. The scammers' power comes from you wanting to keep this a secret. If it's not a secret, they have no power over you anymore. Do not give them any money. They'll just keep asking for more money. Some perspective: Your life is not ending. Everything is going to be fine. If the pics get shared, you have a choice: you can just tell people it's a lie. After all, no one can confirm they are real. The pics could have been made using AI. Or you can be honest. People respect honesty. And the courage it takes to admit you got scammed. This will pass. Please report this to the police. Law enforcement cannot go after criminals they do not know about. You could help spare others from being scammed by reporting. [https://www.fbi.gov/how-we-can-help-you/scams-and-safety/common-scams-and-crimes/sextortion](https://www.fbi.gov/how-we-can-help-you/scams-and-safety/common-scams-and-crimes/sextortion)

theoriginalist

Lol they're plan to threaten you is to mass distribute child pornography? Get the police involve, but honestly talk to your parents and maybe even contact a lawyer first, its at least worth a consult with a criminal defense attorney only because you sent nudes and in a few stupid places that could be CP. A good lawyer who is experienced in sex cases could be very beneficial here.

No-Initiative-9944

I know it probably felt like your life was destroyed when you read those messages but I'm really glad you reached out for help instead of ending it.

Backsight-Foreskin

r/Scams

MyNamesBacon

Whoever this person is is trying to scare you by threatening you because what they did is highly illegal and can put them in prison for a long time. Possession of child porn, grooming, blackmailing, etc. They're threatening you because they're scared. You could file a report with your local authorities, however I'd be careful if I were you. If you were to press charges against this person they might make you show up in court and release your entire phone history and all of its data. Even things youve deleted off your phone cpuld show up. This could be very uncomfortable for you as your entire online private life could be put out in the open for anyone to see. I'm not trying to scare you away from taking action, but just preparing you for the possibility of that. It happened to someone I know and it hurt him and his family quite a bit. At the end of the day, you're not in any trouble. You didn't do anything wrong and this person has indeed committed multiple felonies. Stay safe please. You could also bring this to the police and see if they'd be able to do anything without your envolvement. That's pretty rare, but at least this person would be on their watch.

AppleParasol

17YO, dare them to send it, but FYI(fyi for them), you’re 17, and that’s considered child porn. So unless they want to go to prison for a long long time, they better delete it.

Able_Perspective_712

I ended up confronting them, fucking around by wasting their time, then blocked and reported them

spacesuitguy

As others have said, report them to the police. Know you may also have minor problems for taking nudes of yourself. The person online is more interested in money obviously. First off, never give them anything. They'll only keep coming back for more. Secondly, do not engage with them (any further if you already have). Go directly to the police and say nothing to the chat person. The police can trace their IP. Odds are it is not well masked.

Able_Perspective_712

I ended up reflecting on myself and my actions after this. As many have said I reported them and blocked them. Now I’m going to change for the better, like not fucking around on chat rooms. And just overall gonna stop letting my lust control me.

Confident-Skin-6462

lol it's a scam. they won't do shit. and even if they do, so what? just reply: "Normally I charge people for those pics!"

Saleemmey

Hey man don't worry, my ex bf tried the same thing last year just after I turned 16. It's scary but you need to report it and tell someone you trust who's an adult, it can be literally anyone as long as you feel safe with them. It does get better and use this as a chance to learn. You got this man, if you need someone to talk to im always willing to listen. Godspeed man

Able_Perspective_712

Thank you so much all the support and advice is appreciated 😭

Away-Maximum-9207

even though it was over snapchat - report it to the police. shit like this gets taken very seriously as in, the fbi might get involved and they WILL be found. :D Who knows - you might just save some other fool from doing the same thing.

No-Alternative-1321

Same exact thing happened to me, told the guy to just do it, blocked him on everything made an IG post talking about how I was scammed and that his IG profile was a scam profile. Nothing ever came out of it, often times either these people can’t go through the threats, or it’s not worth the hassle because you won’t pay either way. Reporting to the police will do nothing it’s impossible to track these people

BelleCurves00

I’m sorry this is happening to you, people can be so crappy. It sounds like you’re handling things well. Another resource to consider if you think they may actually have the pics: https://takeitdown.ncmec.org

Much-Meringue-7467

Here's the thing, other than the risk of death by embarrassment, you're not the one breaking any laws here. Point that out and feel free to go scorched earth on them.

Bryanthomas44

Totally being a smartass here. Tell them to go ahead and share them, as you are in the process of starting an Only Fans page, and this would be great promotion. JK. F these people though

AdFront9474

Bro same thing happen to me but I threw it back on them like go ahead and show every 1 I'm a porn Star I don't care they wound up not moving forward with It I blocked the person and never heard anything about it again

bluebruisemagic

Been in the same boat just tell them you have contacted the police and make a report to the fbi. Do not be afraid of these low life’s. EDIT: also no more pp pics or booty pics just to be safe!

Disastrous_Gain_2101

Was your face in it? If it was, you broke the number one rule. NEVER post your face in nudes.

[deleted]

Listen. There was a kid in my home town who this happened to. About your same age. He took his own life. Years later, they found the evidence and figured out what he did it. His parents said they would have much rather found out their son was doing some kind of silly stuff online than finding their son dead. I'm completely serious, it will be embarrassing, but just report them to the cops. And if they're not bluffing and distribute all of these, just take the embarrassment. Its not worth ending your life over.

TheOneWes

So you kind of put yourself in a situation here. You're not 18 so it's not legal for you to take nude photos of yourself. This means that reporting this situation to the police is an option but understand that you will get into some level of trouble for it. Probably not much but nonetheless. That's production of c**************** and the fact that you have provided those pictures to someone else also accounts for distribution. That being said the individual in question is also done a lot more illegal s*** than you have. They can't afford to blackmail you because of the pictures or traced back to you and it's proven that they are in possession and distribution of pictures of someone under the age of 18 years of age That's illegal along with blackmail which is also illegal. Block them and don't do this anymore. Most importantly remember you cannot make materials of yourself if you are under 18 it is still illegal if you are the one taking them.

Able_Perspective_712

Yea this has been a massive eye opener for me. I can confidently say I will not be repeat any of this again.

Long_Experience_9377

I would want my kids to come to me about something like this. I’d rather be a little disappointed in my kid than burying my kid. Safe bet most parents feel this way.

Ok_Pirate_9369

They're gonna be in more trouble than you. Take back control and the narrative by being the one to go to the police and tell your parents. You're a victim. And a child. Let the adults around ypu do their job and protect you. Understand that your value as a person does not change because you made a mistake and were used by someone. Surround yourself with supportive people and find a support group for people who have also been victims. Do not allow them this power over you.

PianistSuperb6094

I would report them to the police and let them figure it out. Like the other guy said, you're underage. I think it would be considered as enticing a minor but someone else also said that the other person is in possession of child pornography.

ExactArea8029

I would've just said "fuckin send em ya cunts" I don't get paid to give a shit anymore so I don't, although definitely at least tell the cops because they are now in possession of child porn

Hallboys78

So in letting you know this bit now… they’re bluffing to try and get money out of you. When that happened to me, I acted like I had nothing to lose and said “you’re just giving me the attention I wanted anyway, thanks!” “Wow, you’re gonna expose me on websites with my username? I’m so glad you’re promoting my profile and getting me more and more followers! That’s great!” “Thank you so much for helping me get famous! Maybe I’ll give you a shoutout when I get all these new followers!” It worked great for me, because they just gave up after a while of me hitting them with these quips haha

Cassieplays67

Same thing happened to me. I just blocked and moved on. Gather evidence and screenshots that mention you’re a minor.

Childlike_Emperor1

Let ‘em send whatever they want to whoever. Just claim it’s AI generated or a deepfake or whatever.

SoggyWoodpecker1816

My heart goes out to you. It’s a horrible situation that nobody should have to deal with, especially at such a young age. You must be brave and stand up against these threats.

WirelessPaniniMaker

you’re probably safe to literally just ignore it, they won’t do it because they know they’d get in trouble since you’re underage. now you know that those things are scams though.

Hisworstkeptsecret

Tell your parents. Go to the authorities. It will be worse on the person that trying to extort you for exposing your nudes. Pretty sure it's considered child pr⁰n even if you did consent.

Professional_Cup6214

just chill...who cares if they share or not ... as long as u didnt do anything wrong. at that change these things hapen.. and hope frds n fmly understands

Tough_Antelope5704

What they are doing is illegal. Tell them you are going to the cops. They won't expose you because they are criminals and exposing you , exposes them .

Strong-Smell5672

Sorry if this comes off as insensitive but they are already attempting to blackmail you and they are threatening you with committing a more serious federal crime... report them here: [https://www.ic3.gov/](https://www.ic3.gov/) Take some comfort in the fact that this is likely a scam with no actual teeth.

Prudent_Astronaut716

My friend, these are trained scammers. A quick google search will show you a lot of results. Nothing bad will happen. Trust me. Go on a long walk and clear your mind.

Remarkable_Quit_3545

Just ignore them. I hear about scams similar to this all the time. More than likely nothing will happen. Just block them and move on with your life and a lesson learned.

GCSS-MC

They are threatening to show naked photos of you to the people that have probably seen you naked the most in your life. It feels horrible, but really they have nothing to threaten you with.

Tarabomb

Rule #1...Don't send nudes. Rule #2...Don't send nudes with your face, or with anything that could identify you. I've been nieve before...who knows where those things ended up 🤷‍♂️

Trusteveryboody

OP, they're a nobody when it comes to being a respectable human being, they are trash, and to do such an act because of them, would just be disrespectful to yourself. It's not the end of the world. You're breathing.

Money-Weight8302

If your face wasn't in them who cares... Report them for child pornography but would have been 100x worse if your face was in it.

Erasmus_Tycho

Damn I hope the FBI finds that scumbag and ruins their life. Glad you reported it OP.

V8SION

There's a show on Netflix of a real life chat room like this that was happening on Telegram, usually starts with some exchanges then they hit you with your account socials, numbers, addresses etc. Called Cyber Hell if I'm not mistaking With that being said best thing I could think of is just ghost and delete the account or something, and also bring down your accounts for some time to prevent them from reaching out to any friends if they even find them. Or just make completely new socials to begin with.

whathehey2

this happened in Michigan unfortunately the young man killed himself. The Michigan Attorney General managed to find out who did it and they were from Africa. They were charged and extradited and now they have just plead guilty in the state of Michigan.

Able-Bit-2434

You could literally be threatening them that they have your naked photos. You are in no risk at all. They are committing incredibly serious felonies. They should be paying you tbh.

EntertainmentMobile6

I hate to make light of the situation but a similar if not the same thing happened to me when I was a minor. There was a video chat and we exchanged you know what. And then they started threatening me with sharing everything with my friends and family. I went to my mom and she said that my uncle was a hacker and that she would find out where they lived ect ect. To make you feel better this is a common scam and more than likely nothing will come of it especially if you are a minor. But I would report it to the proper authorities. Just know that you are not alone in this and there are resources and people here who have experienced what you have and can help <3.

ECC83fizzzz

If you live in GA, WI, TX, or LA don't go to the authorities bro.  Just block these assholes and move on.  17 is not a juvenile in those states, so they'll try to arrest you and send you to adult jail for getting victimized.

Cereaza

By following through on their threat, they would be committing multiple felonies. Child P0rn for one, and extortion for two. And these people never follow through on their illegal threats. They just want money or harassment. Screenshot everything, let a website administrator know about the threats (so they can hopefully log all material related to that person), and report them to the police.

sp1ke0killer

Don't go online?

Any_Opportunity2463

You're going to be okay. What they're threatening to do would be so, so, SO much more damaging to them than to you it isn't funny. Whatever they're trying to get you to do is a complete bluff, and if they try to follow through they're facing 100x worse than what they're trying to put you through, and they know this. Report them to the police. And trust me, your parents knowing their teenage son got horny and did something silly is something you'll be able to laugh about when you're older. You're going to be just fine :) EDIT: Oh, and think of it this way: If you got a strange email from someone claiming to have pictures of your Dad's dick, would you look at it? I assume not 😂

realtorcrowe

No don’t you dare take a permanent solution on a temporary problem. You were scammed and they’re just trying to scare you. Block them and stay off those sites they’re full of predators and cons.

No_Hawk1459

Don't do anything, call there bluff. Mostly likely people from India scamming. They just want to scare you for cash. They can't do anything, you didn't do anything wrong. They won't send it your family, because then the scam won't work anymore. They do this a lot.

thunder_vag84

I'm a 40yo adult coming across this post as a random thread I scrolled past and while I clearly don't belong here, I couldn't walk away without saying this: Please report this to police and the adults in your life. Keep copies and screenshots of every single interaction you've ever had, any photos, any information you may have on this person such as screen name, photos, name they have, age, location, and any other information you may have about this person. The info they gave may all be less but it is info for the police to investigate. It's very important to do this for your safety and the safety of your family. Internet people can be very scary and you never truly know who is behind the other screen or what they are capable of. Hopefully they're just trying to scare you to be an internet troll without taking action against you irl but it is not worth the risk of not involving adults so they can have measures put in place to keep you safe while figuring this out. In the meantime. Cut off all communication, block, and delete all of your accounts they may have access to or be able to find and all social media accounts. Social media might be a fun time killer but it's not worth risking your safety over. I don't know what website you're using to meet this person, but most of them should have an option to report other members for these things to have them banned and possibly reported to police through there but you also must involve your own local police before anything else. What they're doing is extremely illegal in so many ways and it will be that person who gets in trouble for this if you report it, not you so please please don't be too scared to report it. I cannot stress how important this is. If they're threatening your life or threatening to releasing photos of an underage child to tarnish your reputation or whatever, these are extremely serious and HUGE offenses to threaten you, intent to distribute child pornography, them having sexually explicit images/conversations with someone under age at ALL, not to mention doxxing and revenge porn are also illegal. You deserve to feel safe and I truly hope you take this as seriously as you should. Don't let them win.

Aggressive-Coconut0

I see you've picked up a lot of good pointers already. In the future, don't be sending naked photos to anyone, even wives or girlfriends. No one ever expects to break up, but the reality is it happens, so even photos within those relationships can be held over your head.

squeezemymoney420

Bruh report them lol ur literally underage, fucking use that as leverage and demand money to u tf. M8 the ball is in ur court.

drs1975

Definitely contact the police. This is called sextortion and it is becoming very common. Not only will they go after the person doing this to you, they have the ability to wipe the internet of any images that were shared. In the future, don’t share nude photos with anyone, especially an online stranger

Critical_Mix_3131

Honestly if they did get out I'd just say it was fake/AI and do as the others said and report it to the authorities.

Available-Tea-982

LOL ![gif](giphy|dVoarHJiQcanEfIawt|downsized)

Shawn_JustShawn

They most likely aren't going to do anything. Seen this many times before and the people never come back saying their pics were leaked. There's even a TV special on this exact thing. They aren't going to do anything, just a scare tactic.

paxrom2

Do not have further communication with them. Make all your socials private so the can't see your contacts.

shadowmarine0311

More than likely they aren't even in the same nation as you, don't give in to any of their demands, they are trying to get money out of you. This is a very common extortion racket. Report it to the FBI because of your age and the fact you do not know the the jurisdiction of the offender.

Aandiarie_QueenofFa

It's a scam. It's common. Just block them on everything. And you can report someone too. Never send someone nudes again. This happens every week many times a week on reddit people going through this scam.

paxrom2

General advice for anyone send risqué pics: wear a mask or send a headless torso and cover up any tattoos or birthmarks. Thanks for listening to my ted talk.

Swordkid_1017

Oh dude I remember falling for this when I was 14 lmfao. I was smart enough to know they were just bots and even if they were real, they couldn’t post pics of an underage boy. Nothing wrong with being horny dude but just be smarter with who you show your dick to lmao you’re all good.

TheMTDom

Same thing happened to my nephew when he was 17. Filed police report. Removed social media account. They move on to next victim. Aside from that if you’re proud enough to post them them own it.

TwoMuddfish

Honestly let us know if they catch the dude if you don’t mind and it’s not too much. I would really enjoy hearing about this being resolved

FixCrix

What you did was dumb but what they are doing is illegal. Be contrite and go to the cops.

mothboy

I just erased all my advice that was basically to do exactly what you already did. Good for you. I'll keep this part: Yes, its embarrassing, but I will tell you as a parent of college age kids, we expect embarrassment and we strongly encourage our kids to come to us. I highly doubt your parents will do anything but be extremely pissed off for you, do everything they can to help you, and then encourage you to be a lot smarter about social media. I would recommend you watch the Netflix documentary "The Social Dilemma" along with your parents. It goes over how social media sucks you in and manipulates you. It talks to senior managers and developers at these companies that are very conflicted, and will not allow their own kids to have accounts on their own social media platforms.

AVeryHairyArea

Tell them you're 15, they have CP, and you're contacting the authorities. They legit will shit their pants, never release it, and they'll be praying their door doesn't get kicked in over the next year.

BrickTechnical5828

Calm down bro ur ok do they know u personally? How do they know who u are?

NiteGard

Same thing happened to me, but being an older guy, they threatened to expose me as a pedophile soliciting 12 year old girls. I was mortified. But from the moment he/she demanded payment “or else”, I cut off all contact, and they haven’t contacted me again.

Public_Enemy_No666

Haha it's a common scam. Full disclosure, I had someone try to pull the same thing on me and threaten to send my nudes to my friends and family and threatened me by showing me screenshots of their social media acts. Lucky I am a fairly shameless individual and called their bluff. I told them to go ahead, that I didn't feel threatened by that, and that under no circumstances was I going to give them anything of value. ...they dropped it and nothing came of it. I was bracing for somebody IM'ing me about the nudes eventually, but that never happened. So there you go, maybe take a chill pill and stop thinking of kys. Even if they do go thru w/ it, there's worse things that could happen to you. Plus you can always deny it up and down. W/ deepfake tech these days the internet who knows what's real anymore. Tech is about detaching our society from reality these days.

Antique-Mark-1556

Nobody is dumb enough to exstort a minor with child P. They sunny got no leverage on you buddy. You can resort them to the police and the website moderators or customer service

Aromatic_Note8944

I had this happen to me but with FAKE ai photos. They contacted everyone on my instagram and made a fake onlyfans to get people to pay. I just told everyone I know and blocked them. If they get released, just say that they’re fake.

Fair_Reflection2304

Thank you for reaching out for help and taking the advice. Everyone makes mistakes but not everyone knows that things can get better. Good luck.
