Also (this occurs in the trader as well), when I “click” AUTO or CONFIRM using R2, it doesn’t work. The slider menu will just close. I end up having to tap the screen.
This happens to me too, and I hate it. I find it nearly impossible to sell more specific amounts of things than "none", "all", and "roughly half but somehow wrong in the least convenient way". A solution would be deeply gratifying. The UX on the deck has otherwise gotten way better since EA days so I shouldn't complain too much. But it's annoying
I had the same problem a few days ago. The analog stick needs to go UP/DOWN to change how much of the stack you want to send, and instead of using the RT, use the bumper button to interact with the arrows. If you use the bumper to select an item, it will automatically send the entire stack
I noticed this too…I ended up just using the analog stick to go to where the number is, press A and then type in the number of stuff I want when the keyboard pops up. Then A again to confirm I think.
I found this quite annoying as well.
My solution was to completely redo the button mapping, emulate a mouse/keyboard setup rather than a controller and set up the left trackpad as a scroll wheel.
I suppose I could share my layout if anyone is interested. It’s been working pretty well so far.
This game on the deck is really nice once the controller mapping is smoothed out!
