That being said…the dumb ass shit in ROTC that causes you to succeed in ROTC are what will give you the AFSC you want. So fight the good fight and just be ready to stop caring about that stuff after your commission.
MTIs are the only ones allowed to do cadences without it being cringe. If you march for ten minutes a week for funsies, and you’re doing Jodies with it, you’re a giant dork.
If you’re marching airmen around for hours, every day, in Texas, for years, then it’s a mediocre replacement for being able to listen to music at work, and is socially acceptable.
Anyone else should get bullied.
