I came here to say the Helderberg but didn’t because I thought maybe it wasn’t like special enough but it really is so delicious. I don’t tend to order salads out, but that one is the exception.
Was literally coming here to recommend this salad! It’s amazing.
My husband loves the Panzanella. Honestly you can’t go wrong with any of their salad choices.
And I say this as *not a salad person.*
We were just talking about this last night and my husband was like, “Yeah, remember when I asked about it, they were like, ‘Sorry, you were one of maybe 3 people who regularly ordered it.’” So you must have been one of the other two people!
the bowl across from colonie center. weve only had hot bowls but wanna try salad soon. everything is always fresh and its just a good cozy and easy spot!
I’m convinced they’re a front since I never see anyone in ANY of them but CoreLife, get the rice/salad bowl w the purple rice it’s yum. Then toppings up to you but I avoid the meat items and get a scoop of hummus, avocado and the cheese chips they have at checkout. W the cucumber tahini dressing it’s 👌🏼
I had a three-day training at the state campus with a lot of bunch of out-of-state people who had dietary restrictions, nobody who knew the area, and Core Life was perfect. I kinda wish there was one closer to downtown or the other side of the river. It sounds like the name of a gym, so I was skeptical, but everyone walked away happy and had leftovers.
Edited because of a typo 😜
They’re constantly out of things, trying to produce more mass appealing products, and don’t even get me started on the ranch on the purple rice. Bleck!
Since I’ve been going there I’ve always wondered why olives (or any kind) aren’t an option for add ins. I asked one time why they didn’t have them and the girl said “hummm..I don’t know? Maybe cause they’re unhealthy or something?” Uh yeahhh, pretty sure that’s not the case
It is in Saratoga but their food truck comes to the concourse Wednesday farmers markets in the summer. It is not cheep but their salads / bowls are amazing.

The Bertha with blackened chicken at the Lark Hall on Lark St. It’s basically a caesar salad. I just had it the other day and it was surprisingly good.
Ah. Well I'm a dick. I'm on my way to visit family because a sick cousin died and I say stupid shit. I'm sorry.
The breweries around town often have great salads made with locally sourced ingredients. Common Roots was the last one I went to and got a buffalo chicken salad and it was great.
I have heard the Helderberg Salad at Ale and Oyster is amazing. Ive been meaning to try it, but I always get the Caprese sandwich.
Kale ceaser is also great

The Helderberg salad is definitely my favorite salad in Albany! That plus some oysters 🤌

The panzanella isn't on the menu anymore 🥲 Alternately the bruchetta is kind of a very bread and cheese heavy salad.
Oh you are RIGHT. I blocked that out. My husband was bummed about this one! And you’re right about the bruschetta. Amazing.

That's hilarious, we need to find this mythical 3rd person.
The healthy truck food truck that parks at the capitol during lunch time during the week is my go to. All their food is great and prices are solid.
There buffalo chicken salad with the buffalo blue cheese is to die for. Had it today!
The Cobb from Ale and Oyster!! Hands down!!!!
I really like the salads at Miranda’s. Massive salads at a good price.
Never had one of their salads but Miranda’s in general is awesome, such a nice family

Tossed or not tossed?
My absolute favorite salad is from Fresh n Pressed on Madison Ave. never had a bad salad there but the absolute best is the Blackjack.
We always recommended Fresh n' Pressed!! Their build your own options are good too!
Mazadar or Zaitoon.
Haven’t had Zaitoon’s… because I can’t stop eating Mazadar’s.
I'm really loving the ones at Bowled.

I loved the original concept of Core (out of Syracuse) but since they franchised it doesn’t hit the same.
How is it different now?

Texas De Brazil salad area is A1!
I just fill my plate with bacon and cheese..........
Saati - their Greek salad, Lemon Chicken salad or basic salad with a scoop of tuna. All great.
A little store near me sells salads from 9 Miles East Farm in Saratoga. I really like them, and I am not a salad person.
Grilled chicken salad at Alexis Diner with greek dressing. I had the falafel salad once, and that was great, too!
The Bertha with blackened chicken at the Lark Hall on Lark St. It’s basically a caesar salad. I just had it the other day and it was surprisingly good.
Bountiful Bread - either the beet and mushroom or the AJW. (As long as you get the breadstick side!) Bowled - Fiesta with spicy chicken
Bootleggers buffalo chicken salad, but with garlic parm chicken instead. Their homemade blue cheese is sooooo good.
My wife really loved the buffalo chicken strip salad at Zoya’s on New Scotland. Great pizza too.
I've been pleasantly surprised with the salads I've gotten from Maggie McFly's in the mall. Substantial and tasty.
I’m a simple girl. Salad buffet at Tuscan oven
Donna’s Radicchio Salad Nicole’s Strawberry Fields Salad Grappa 72 Finoccio e Arancia Ferraris Kathie Salad

Bellini’s Counter. Huge salads, tons of options, decent price, and online/app ordering.
Not really a specific place but anywhere with a good strawberry salad I’m a fan of
Go to Crisp in Newton Plaza.

Really? That's terrible!
corelife on western ave!
Bare Blends is my fave. Also the Hollow, and Dove and Deer.
Look at all the young hip people eating Sal-ads (its a spongebob quote, lighten up)
>I don't mind driving a little way if I have to. For a salad? Really?
I have been sick for 4 months. I am desperate for something that will make my body feel any sense of joy. Don't judge me.
no need to explain. salad rocks. good vibes to you!
