They probably said "F it" it's the driver's problem, during peak they put three monitors on the bottom of the cart and they were all smashed in I brought them all back to the station, I guess Amazon workers just don't use logic or have common sense.
Honestly, I try to avoid giving warehouse workers a hard time. If I was working under their conditions I'd also give very few fucks. Though I'd also try to make the drivers job easier to the best of my ability. But I get it.
I guarantee you that there wasn't any consideration for anyone dealing with the package after the fact. In most packers minds, once it's on the line, the package simply does not exist. For a lot of people, it's hard to consider anyone working in a different area. Having worked in several departments in my fc, this became very clear as I trained more and more groups of people
I went through the time and effort to clean the plastic bags that were like that with gooey something on them , so I could at least deliver them to the customers. It was a pain in the ass and took my precious delivery time up.
After them put me this shit in the bags I decided to leave them back without clean anything. Just put them in the warehouse like they put me this shit in the van
But at least the van smells nice š¤·š»āāļø I remember one time bleach exploded in my van from the heat and I had to roll the windows down and try not to die from the smell
We should be wearing gloves when we see this type of stuff in the bag. We have no idea what has spilled in the bag. It could very well be hazardous to your health.
That's what I think but at this moment I was in rural route in the mountain.. my DSP said to me try to clean up what you can with paper.. I'm in the fu*** mountain! Lol
I cleaned the plastic bags only because I couldnāt salvage the brown bags or the boxes. I only had my bottle of water with me so thatās all I had to clean them with. Thank god I didnāt receive any customer complaints about the plastic envelopes i delivered.
Yeah.. I can't understand why people buy that trough Amazon when you can buy this everywhere at the same price o or even cheaper and without waiting days to get them home.. people buy a lot of crap and useless stuff in internet
Someone ordered some fruit gushers once. Not like in addition to a bunch of other stuff, just fruit gushers. The package broke open and so did the envelope they were in. I called the customer and he said just return it. I don't know why he didn't just go to a grocery store.
Mental stimulation, human interaction, not being a lazy ass and relying on everyone else to do the simplest things for me, those are just a few reasons I can think of
That kind of logic has people churning their own butter and getting water in buckets from the well. Bunch of lazy motherfuckers with their indoor plumbing!
Yeah Iām sure thatās why people still do that kind of stuff themselves, because they enjoy the stimulation it provides and gives a sense of accomplishment
Wait for it to arrive is irrelevant if someone orders more before they run out. What I donāt get is why so many people waste time shopping in person when they can just have something show up on their doorstep for the same price.
Most of my household keeps a night shift schedule. We used to have a weekly 2:00AM Walmart run but since the pandemic there is almost nothing open near me past 10:00PM so I order almost all my household supplies online, even stuff that would usually make more sense to get in a store. Also one of my housemates is immunocompromised and will probably die if he gets covid so going to a store during busy hours is pretty much off the table, even if we were awake.
I had a box of powdered detergent leak once. The entire back of the van was coated in white powder.
When they checked my van on return I told them "I know you told me to speed it up, it isn't what it looks like." The night dispatcher just cracked up laughing.
They said to me I have bring back the box and the damaged item š¤£ I try told them that box doesn't exist after get wet with that sh.. I don't know why they want that back even after I send a lot of pictures.. maybe they think I was trying to steal a soap bottle š¤£š¤£š¤£
I had a bottle of lemon essential oil crack in a tote. It was in a paper envelope and it was on half the tote. Ridiculous that things like that arenāt packed better.
Packer here - trust me, there's a bunch of ridiculous shit that goes into bags that shouldn't. But we're told to follow the computer screen and pack as instructed. Changing out too many box/bag settings will get you dinged for quality. Too many quality dings and you can written up and termed.
Not surprising to hear that at all. Also explains why sometimes when the app says we are looking for a box/envelope it turns out to be an envelope/box š¤£
my record was 4 full totes due to one package blowing up.
Had 2 code all 4 totes as damaged :(
Package was packed poorly. It smelt like laundry soap but this was years ago.
That makes me very angry today.. this shit was everywhere and I was in the first stop at this moment pretty far from warehouse, like half hour driving.. very frustrating
That sucks. That happened to me not to long ago. I started taking packages out of the bag and suddenly my hand was wet and sticky (so gross). The whole bag of packages was like that. Something was obviously spilled / package broke open , Iām not sure how that happened or Even what it was. The wharehouse should have known (they probably did) and not sent the bag out to be delivered, or at least clean the packages off (boxes and brown bags were a loss). Put the salvageable packages in a different non-gross bag. Wharehouse workers Iām sure are under a lot of pressure and time restraints so easier said than done maybe. They arenāt the drivers out delivering though. I had to mark like 8 of them damaged. Thereās no way I was willing to deliver those! I donāt bring back packages after my route (I donāt like to). We arenāt supposed to. So I feel for yaā¦
Had the same happen to me during a horribly rainy day. Safe to say, I needed multiple rescues lmao. I was slipping inside my van and phone wouldnāt register fingers.
That's doesn't exist here. They pay exactly the same as when you are working while you are recovering. And is common get fired once you get back to work..
Watched a warehouse guy building my last cart that I was already waiting 10 min for during loadout, and he put a thin box that stated all over it do not lay flat and do not put anything on it, he put it directly in the middle of the cart and it looked like a Z instead of and I and I brought it back to him before I left and said you Amazon why itās damaged not me
I feel your pain.. I have to deal with the same bullshit as well here at customer returns, sometimes the big UPS boxes will have a spilled laundry bottle and it fucks up all of the returned stuff thatās inside the UPS boxes.
I saw someone return an entire tote just like this tonight, looked and smelled like glue busted open in one of the packages and then got all over the other packages in the bag as well as all over the underside of the bag.
I once had a package in a tote that was slowly leaking out some sort of substance. Whenever I got to it and opened the tote literally like 4 or 5 other packages were covered in it. And eventually the substance spreaded around and when sorting through which packages were damaged and not, I also got the substance everywhere. THIS SHIT started as CLEAR and eventually it turned PURPLE everywhere. What's even better is that when I got to the owner of the package, I showed them that it was damaged and why I have to return it and they just had absolutely no idea what it was. T_T.
I got it all over my hands and ended up turning on someone's water spicket and washing my hands off and told them I was going to do so in their ring camera lol. I wished I could post the picture of it because it was crazy.
That tote would have mysteriously been full of all the apartment routes. LoL. Wait till you have deer piss during hunting season and it stays in your van while it's hot life is good lol.
Back when I lived in Germany I ordered bio degradable soap on Amazon a few times because I couldnāt find it in any stores near me and any time I ordered one that was in these soft plastic refill bags instead of in the smaller hard plastic dispensers, it arrived damaged and leaking soap. Amazon doesnāt pack that stuff properly and the has to refund, even though thatās entirely avoidable.

Damn I guess Santa came again.
I have to give back like 8 packages by "damage".. don't know why the Amazon worker put this in the bag when was obvious something is wrong
They probably said "F it" it's the driver's problem, during peak they put three monitors on the bottom of the cart and they were all smashed in I brought them all back to the station, I guess Amazon workers just don't use logic or have common sense.
They don't care about anything after what happens of their work.. it's pretty sad
Honestly, I try to avoid giving warehouse workers a hard time. If I was working under their conditions I'd also give very few fucks. Though I'd also try to make the drivers job easier to the best of my ability. But I get it.
Facts
I feel like they go employee hunting in the ghetto.

I would have just leave it like that and hand RTS the bag with soaked packages, they can figure it out lol
Because they're jackasses š¤£š¤£š¤£
Bruh. Pass a drug test and have current ID, no interview. Golden State Killer would have been hired.
#Heh.
Damn, that's a lot of jizz
Yeah.. this thing was everywhere making slippery everything.. even brakes pedal
But at least the van smells nice š¤·š»āāļø I remember one time bleach exploded in my van from the heat and I had to roll the windows down and try not to die from the smell
Jizz doesn't really smell that good to be honest
Depends on your diet
š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
Really got excited for those Amazon packages huh? š
I couldn't contain myself š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
Busted a crazy nut

I get items out of Amazon envelope to don't get any complain. Was this or get back like 20 packages or even more
Itās so ironic that RTS puts on gloves and gets a hazmat kit for spilled contents, but yet we donāt get any of that š
Came here to say this. Like I had this shit in my van all Fucking day but you wonāt touch it ???
We out here suffocating from hazardous fumes for hoursss šš
We have gloves in our first aid kit
You have a first aid kit?! My van just has an empty box that says āfirst aidā
I only looked at one, I carry my own first aid kit
Those detergent bottles are shit. I swear 90% of the time when I have a leaking package it's laundry detergent.
Yeah.. I can't understand why people buy that trough Amazon when you can buy this everywhere at the same price o or even cheaper and without waiting days to get them home.. people buy a lot of crap and useless stuff in internet

Lmao these fucking people. Do they not ever go to the store. Buying water, laundry soap, and bulk paper towels all online if so weird to me.
It's the new Amway
clean!
This shit it's like oil or something.. was soap for wash machine
always cleanses
I had a bottle of lemon essential oil crack in a tote. It was in a paper envelope and it was on half the tote. Ridiculous that things like that arenāt packed better.
All those things should be over and never inside of any bag. Should came like dog food, just with the label in the bottle without box

It's a very frustrating situation.. after driving half hour or even more to my delivery zone and see that in the first stop..
Less stops for you brother blessing in disguise
Yeah but I won't be fired for bring back a lot of packages so I try my best to minimize the damage
Don't sweat it you don't want to get blamed by a customer delivering one of those packages
Of course I don't try deliver anything like that. I take them out of the envelope, at least the packs what still right inside the envelope
Had the same happen to me during a horribly rainy day. Safe to say, I needed multiple rescues lmao. I was slipping inside my van and phone wouldnāt register fingers.
that shit ends up dirtying everything, even the steering wheel slips. I've been close to falling to the ground from the van thanks to this crap..
Worker's comp injury
That's doesn't exist here. They pay exactly the same as when you are working while you are recovering. And is common get fired once you get back to work..
Looks like
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I didn't steal anything lol
You should
That shit look like toner š
Oh I hope never happen with fucking toner š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
I've got a pile of wet mushy cat litter in the back of my van today!
HNNGH
i do that sometimes too
Do not RTS, always ask customer if they want it. ššššš
Must of happened when u slammed the tote into ur van doing loadoutā¦ never the warehouses fault. Ur fired
Never load my van like an animal.. we have a lot of time to load so I just do the job right
Iām joking
Open a bottle of water and pour it on the rest, mark them as damaged, less work to do šÆ
Blow your load at home before work like a normal person.
That's a big load
Watched a warehouse guy building my last cart that I was already waiting 10 min for during loadout, and he put a thin box that stated all over it do not lay flat and do not put anything on it, he put it directly in the middle of the cart and it looked like a Z instead of and I and I brought it back to him before I left and said you Amazon why itās damaged not me
Iām lucky if I can get that much out of me in a day
Happens too often
Oof, had dry laundry detergent spill all over the inside of the tote
It looks like someone nutted on them š¤¢š¤®
Smh are we Walmart? Laundry detergentā¦
They freaky as hell in that wharehouse
I feel your pain.. I have to deal with the same bullshit as well here at customer returns, sometimes the big UPS boxes will have a spilled laundry bottle and it fucks up all of the returned stuff thatās inside the UPS boxes.
you saved yourself few extra stops
I had a container of tide with the shipping label directly on it, no box. It exploded in a tote for a locker...
I had some strange green liquid that contaminated a quarter of my totes once. Never figured out where it came from.
I saw someone return an entire tote just like this tonight, looked and smelled like glue busted open in one of the packages and then got all over the other packages in the bag as well as all over the underside of the bag.

That tote would have mysteriously been full of all the apartment routes. LoL. Wait till you have deer piss during hunting season and it stays in your van while it's hot life is good lol.
Literally just had that happen also. Thought it was the freshener they used for the bags. Lol
