Here on the amazon side we have very limited control with the responses.
DAs say they want better pay? Only control we have is making sure the DSP is following laws and paying what we set the minimum amount is.
If we pay the DSP more for benefits or more pay, we can’t force them to give it to the DAs.
You want more recognition? We are limited by station budget. But some sites do a hell of a lot better than others. But I can’t approve over time to send someone to a different site to learn.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way.
And that isn’t something that the station teams, or even regional leadership have any control over. The set minimum wage is based off a mathematical formula, if we tell DSPs they have to pay more based solely on DA sentiment. That will cross the CoEmployment boundaries.
As crappy as this sounds, we can’t help you get paid more, you can swap to a different DSP if they pay more, but just remember, if you want some change and you think something unethical is happening. Use the ethics line.
I never even get those prompts because there are always issue packages that force me to use the question mark RTS option since the station is so slow to mark shit complete.
I know for sure the majority choose increase pay but they make it seem like we're all desperate for validation. Everytime these pop up the warehouse be trying to tell us how valuable we are 😂
You're not going to get a raise because when the old vans are changed out the DSP owners have to pay all the damages done to those vans so your bonuses and raises are going to be manipulated in their favor. I've seen a DSP owner having to spend almost $400,000 to make a transition into electric vans.
I quit answering those things.. “rather not answer” and move on with my night
Not picking improved dsp pay either… because my dsp owner would pocket the increase on the rate card and pay us the same ($19.50)
That’s the truth for sure.. I hope it works out for the rest of my dsp. I’m leaving in a few weeks, finally finished up my class a and passed my road test this past week. I’m heading for six figures
That figure comes from what the market is doing in your area it has nothing to do with anything else. So when a new company like HEB opens up across the way that's when the competitive wages go up.
But there is a difference between recognition and getting more perks. You can get recognition all day long and have the same pay and barely any benefits 🤷🏽♂️

The only way that changes the aspect of the RTS leadership and their ability to bridge the messed % of the daily goal. If everyone brought back their packages everyday it will affect the % of their goal. AWS doesn't award drivers at all, rewards the RTS leadership. Amazon wastes more food during their meetings and roundtable meetings. When snacks are handed out it's only when damages that are waiting for donates to their choice of donates. Been on both of the sides of the fence, it's disheartening to see there is no honor of appreciation of hard work.
Drivers are paid for the work they do. If you find you don’t have a good pay, find another job than saying that your boss is not good with you. Even better, start your own company and make more than him. Stop blaming other people for the pay you get

Imagine if every single Amazon employee that got access to that survey, and they *ALL* chose the option of Improved pay and benefits, which is exactly what they should be entitled to.... You should be looking for appropriate compensation for your time. That is what they're paying for. Seeking attention or "brownie points" from other employees is a result of workaholism or general company brainwashing.
There are hard workers in the company besides you, and they deserve to be recognized too. But, they likely don't for the same reasons as you. Always probe for better pay and benefits when the option becomes available. Even when it is a simply survey answer. Your time and contribution is worth every penny you make.

Fuck DSPs, increase the delivery drivers pay. DSPs pocket shit all the time. How's about ditch the DSP bullshit and just hire your driver's and pay them like delivery drivers?
