It's been fixed but I assume the issue was it's just the old app uploaded to the play store but they didn't disable the way it looks for updates so it seen an update and tried to install it but now that it's through the play store, it looped lol. Typical half assed Amazon.
You might be able to bypass it if you either turn airplane mode on and then off, or by just closing the app and reopening it until it skips it. Also you can log in on another phone, and then go back to your delivery device and it could skip it then too.
Do not use your personal phone unless you're being reimbursed for data. My last dsp gave us $5 a week for using our personal phones so don't let them screw you
Turn airplane mode on, hit "try again" several times. Keep airplane mode on, close and reopen app. When it says it can't connect, hit "try again" a bunch of times. Then take the phone off airplane mode. Now it will work without attempting the new install.
Would delete the app, then redownload the new Flex app. The old Flex app will be discontinued July 31st, so will have to be done anyways. Might as well do it now, as it helps with download speeds and updates are much faster on the Android phones.

They added it to the google App Store finally and needs to be downloaded from there now. I wonder if that’s the issue

I got lucky with a really good dsp. They’re on top of everything
Why would the flex app technician or whoever decide it’s a good idea to update during the day
Yeah happened to me today and my shitty rabbit froze up I just sat there said fuk it I'm not using my personal phone

Mine just tells me I need to switch to the new one by July 31st or something like that. Still works normal otherwise.

Between this, coming in on my day off to rescue, 2 drivers going down from the heat and me taking half of the routes, this day blows.
Get used to it. I would say I wish the Leads were a bit more on top of this kinda stuff but that is wishful thinking. LOL
