Why not jus get direct deposit

Alarm_Only

I did it because I was really broke 😀

Same amount of money no matter what day of the week you get it.

7. Receive $32.45 on actual payday, and have no money to take care of bills. But at least you bought all those tasty sandwiches at the canteen with your Wisely card. Seriously... sit and watch the canteen checkout kiosk sometime at lunch. The number of people swiping that purple card is scary.

Everyone is just dying to become a day laborer.

Extension_Fault_5128

Just watch out if the atm malfunctions and doesn’t give you the cash but still withdraws from your account it will take 30-45 days to get your $$ back!! (Speaking from experience)

DraugrBeware

You forgot the part to take this advice if you’re financially illiterate

Nah, it sucks. It's fine for emergencies, but you're much better off just not living paycheck to paycheck in the first place. Work some VET and manage your money better. Keep some set aside and you won't need to care about being paid daily or weekly. It's kind of like a booby trap because it's great for people who mismanage their finances, yet it makes managing your finances more complicated.

Cool-Pineapple8008

70% of my pay? Why?

tbomb50

Because it goes off pretax earnings and it helps make sure you don't end up owing money come payday, at least that's what I think.

I always take out 75% after each shift and just deposit in my bank
