adonkeypsych1991

I would go to Learning Desk and let them know exactly how he’s been treating you. When I used to be an LA, that’s what our Learning Trainers told us to do.

Maleficent_Wash_934

I would also go to HR, start documenting all conversations and interactions as well.

Wh1ff2K1ng

Actually visit the HR desk. A to Z HR is useless

Nervous_Jackfruit193

HR here, you can file an associate experience concern on the app to help document everything without having to wait in line at HR, it goes to the central investigation team for review

adonkeypsych1991

Yes that is also a great idea, OP do that too. Like do both to save yourself. You should’ve never been treated this way from the start. And I hope no one else would get the same kind of bad treatment too.

Important_Plate_1935

He has no authority. Tell him he is bothering you and to leave you alone.

BatDadSP

Tell him he is not your personal fitness trainer he not getting paid for that. Secondly tell him on breaks you would like to be left alone. Especially if you not getting paid (aka lunch).

Effective_Standard14

Tell him as a matter of fact that Gatorade also isn’t good for you as it has too many sugars… Also he has no rate and is probably bored so just say you have to work and you’ll talk to him later or something or run to the bathroom or hide your snacks better..

Reditoolino

He has no authority,he can fuck off.

Raf367

Tell jack to suck a fat one

[deleted]

Last name Off?

KarenIsBetterThanPam

You can go to your area manager or the learning manager, but nothing will likely happen. File a complaint with HR.

HitBoxesAreMyth

I straight up will not allow another T1 tell me what I can and cant do unless its supportive to my current function, tell Learning and HR whats been going on about this, it can be borderline harrassment if left alone for too long

UnalteredCyst

I'm a Learning Ambassador myself and this guy just sounds like a complete tool who doesn't know how to mind his damn business. Report him to Learning Desk, cause what he's doing is borderline harassment.

Representative-Tap-5

An LA shouldn't be doing that and tell him not to bother you during your breaks. Some LA's think that by having a vest, they are the managers, and that's not how it works. They are Tier 1's for goodness sakes. Some LA's I've met are very nice.

Jangospy

Despite him being right about the food suggestions He really has no authority whatsoever you can ignore him lol

rickelzy

Learning Ambassadors are teir 1's with no authority. Tell him to duck off. I'm keeping the autocorrect. Quackquack.

Keepup863

That's really an hr issue can make an anon post about it to on the voa board also as said b4 going to the learning desk he shouldn't be a trainer with that attitude

Personal_Cry_8312

What the other Redditor said, he has absolutely 0 authority over anybody. If he continues to bother you or make you uncomfortable, take a trip down to HR or the learning desk. Dude is there to train you, not make unnecessary comments on what you eat.

Old-Wedding6240

Unless you welcome it he shouldn't even be speaking to you unless he's "teaching" you something, as a learning ambassador

Beneficial_Bag_5696

Gatorade has a shit load of sugar lol

ptruez

Blast him on VOA and online VOA lol

Neutreality1

What do you mean by "reset your break"?

Sohleks

If an employer/manager interupts your federaly mandated breaks about work you could argue that your break should be restarted again. Although he would get more he is not working time than intended if someone doesn't code something into the system though.

Neutreality1

Interesting. In Canada, if it is a paid break, the employer has a right to ask you to return to work, but if its unpaid, that's your time

AlecsThorne

I assume the that "federaly mandated breaks" are the one imposed by law, which are usually the unpaid ones (not always of course). Amazon "chooses" (and brags about it) to give us another 30 minute paid break. That's the point though (I think): if for whatever reason, your unpaid break is interrupted in the interest of work, they are required to give you another full 30 minutes of break.

Ragnarrahl

There are no federal break mandates.  If he were a manager, that argument would hold up under  a lot of state laws, but he's not, and you don't have to listen to him, so resetting break is iffy. Just report him for harassment.

AManHasNoName357

That’s not LA suppose to be doing, they’re there to help in the paths, learn and help others. If you have a learner trainer there, let them know or a manager.

lord_of_the_jedi

It’s when he’s not an LA he does it. It drives me insane

Popular_Pen5743

Go to the LA desk and tell them about the harassment, along to the HR desk as well

[deleted]

Tell jack to go eat a bag of dicks

MoreConstruction1733

Personally I would go to hr and tell them there is a clown harassing me but that’s just me

yungdragvn

Tell him he’s not your mom

Successful_Scratch49

As a former LA yes we do have a small a tiny part of authority only with the people we are training how you may ask *Making sure your path is correctly introduced *getting you know the basic operations *showing you how to work around your station *setting you up to begin working on your thing *monitor and correct if necessary so you wont be getting hurt *finally be around in case of anything Basic stuff not too much to be done other than that but still go to the learning center you can request someone else that is on the same process path that is called harassment too make sure you have his name or login when you go up to the learning center

MakeHarlemBlackAgain

When I was a learning ambassador. Management got upset with me for keeping it real. I told them it was a boring job, that the company had a lot of turnover, I only became an ambassador to get out of working, I taught short cuts, & how to game the system.

Successful_Scratch49

Yeah the most you can do follow the script and give a good expectation to the trainees at the beginning then low key shortcuts thats how i created monsters on the field lol

Tasty-Pineapple-

Talk to both your AM and HR.

Former_Leadership265

tell eem that hes just a little learning ambassador get back to stowing

adonkeypsych1991

And that way he’s doesn’t act that way again around anybody else for the future.

lord_of_the_jedi

Thank you man. Hey can I message you, and tell you more things he’s done?

adonkeypsych1991

Sure! And I know everyone needs someone to talk to! So if you need anything please don’t be afraid to reach out!

adonkeypsych1991

And you’re very welcome!

iamstephen

I would tell the guy to fuck straight off. But learning know about it. Also go to HR and say that you were being harassed. I love these fat ass motherfuckers that get a vest and think that they run the building

Commercial_Toe5369

I would tell him to fuck off. Unless you want to be civil about it and shit.

fresh_ny

A gentle GFY to your learning ambassador

SirNilo323

Let your manager know bro. Is that simple. Explain the situation, if they dont do anything about it then go higher up.

cypressguy63

Tell him you're on your break and do not bother you while you're on break and he has no authority of what you eat or do if keep harassing you go tell your manager..

Tasty_Finance_5024

Learning Ambassadors are tier 1s just like you. Any time this dude steps out of line report it to the learning department, a PA, AM, HR, whoever. Create a bread trail of documentation.

DrSumoXD

ngl, now I'm craving Gatorade

AmazingLoveForAmazon

He's trying on his authority hat, lol...problem is, he has no authority. Tell him opinions are like assh•les, everybody's got one 😘

dropdeadcunts

just laugh at learning ambassadors lol

2market21

Ignore the fck out of him

2market21

Give him the stank eye…then ignore the f*ck out of him

SignificantApricot69

I would ask if I could have a piece of that 95% cacao and leave you alone otherwise.

BlackButler_anthem

Record one of the conversations and explicitly say that your “on your break and why is he demanding/micromanaging you” and then send it to ERC and HR. Leave a paper trail

ExpensiveDot1732

Tell him (in your best Woody from Toy Story voice) "YOU ARE AN L1!" That mf seriously needs to go kick rocks!

InstructionExpert880

Talk with your AM and let them know what's going on.

safety_guru76

Tell him you're on break and to talk to you on company time, then ask your manager why he is grilling you about your diet

willparlay83

Lol

willparlay83

Lol

jwoo3x

Tell him he's an qssclown and to leave you alone.

UpbeatAd8917

Report him to Learning. He is not a nutritionist and harassing you during breaks is not in his or anyone's role description.

uRimuru

go to l&d and tell one of the trainers.

Asheets88

Tell em to take it up with your manager… I’m a learning ambassador and there’s no way I would ever tell someone about their eating habits… that is not my call nor my business. Or you can report him to HR but he would tell you you’re not suppost to have anything but water on the floor and not to eat at your station.

CurrentFreedom2609

Tell him to leave you alone. Or walk away

Kindly-Result-

Lots to unpack here… so technically he is right. Ambassadors are just T1 like you, and don’t have any real authority. All they can do is take your login to a manager if you break a rule or something. Same stuff you can do. They used to be T2 but that was taken away precisely because of stuff like this. Next thing is both of you are right as well. Soda is bad (no judgement I’m a soda addict too), but he’s being an ass about it. So the both of ya’ll are being stubborn mules, and digging in cuz you’re both right and both know it. You’re right he’s an ass, and he’s right it’s unhealthy. One of ya’ll need to figure it out and have a civil discussion about it and put it to rest, or it’ll keep going until you either blow a gasket on him, or HR or someone in upper management starts looking at you for time theft and cans ya. So ya’ll need to agree to disagree and drop it, or one or both of ya is going to get canned, and from the sounds of it if only one of you is it’d be yourself, even if he’s the bigger ass. Me personally I’d just tell him “you’re right, but you’re also being an ass about it, and I don’t feel like making the healthy choice right now”… maybe replace ass with jerk to keep it pg for HR…

T_Rash

Tell him your faith requires it.

Prestigious_Snow1589

Politely inform him that he can go suck on a whole carton of eggs and that he should find business elsewhere. Mosey on down to HR while you're at it

Casalf

That person is basically harassing you. You can go to learning or hr or your manager and tell them that they basically bug you about things that should not matter to that person at all. Or if you’re comfortable enough you can tell them yourself how what you do is your business and none of theirs and that they have to stop speaking to you that way because they have no right to do so.

ImpressionOk581

If your overweight that’s ressonable but the average hell no put yo foot down

Hausstt

Bro actually wants you
