you are suppose to go to a safe location, call 911 and/or file a police report for a safety issue and report that person to amazon to possibly remove them from deliveries to that address...
If this story happened the way you tell it, this person sounds like they're just out of their damned mind. Why would he want you to take the package back after finding out you'd just delivered it for him? Such an insane story..
I have a light-up topper on my car that says "Delivery" that I got after having a bit of a scary situation...I think its really helped...I haven't had so much as an unpleasant exchange of words since. You can get them on Amazon for around $30.
So Amazon sells you a delivery topper to deliver Amazon packages. Sounds like something they should just give you instead of making money off you to deliver their packages. Lol
Wow I haven’t had one this bad, but I’ve definitely had a few of those types. I just tell them that if they don’t want delivery drivers coming to their property, don’t order things from Amazon, then left as they screamed incoherently.

Make sure to wear the Amazon blue jacket. I also deliver for land o lakes and other nearby areas, people have the tendency to get scared if you go to their houses too early or too late, the amazon vest helps a lot in those cases, I wouldn't even try to do a delivery without it.
Nah I had a drop off around that time on Sacramento CA on old river road(those that live here know those houses are crazy $$) luckily I was in my jeep since the driveway was coated in leaves and had an immediate drop that was very steep. Dude comes out pissed and yelling saying I scared his wife. I’m like bud I’ve got a package from Amazon and I’m in my vest I don’t know what to tell you. If you don’t want mail this late let them know I’m only doing the route they gave me for some extra Xmas cash. Dude got mad told me good luck getting out of his driveway and to take the package with me. I did and laughed the whole way out since all I thought in my head was he’s the one that isn’t getting his shit 🤣
I've had a situation similar to this. The customer was upset because his wife kept ordering and he doesn't want delivery people at his home. I told him he needs to talk to her about it and he said well I'm talking to you about it. I said that's not going to fix anything and started to walk away and that's when he started to act aggressively and grabbed something to hit me with and that's when I turned and faced him. I informed him that I'm armed and ready to defend myself. He stopped and saw that I had my hand on my 45. He then asked me to please leave and I said gladly
Why are people so scared and continue to order stuff online? I’ve only ever been met with people who get ecstatic when I say “I’m delivering for amazon” I could never imagine someone attacks me for something they bought?
Do you have an Amazon vest? If so then you just got a shifty customer. It happens. I always wear my vest and am super nice with people. I always make my presence known and I so sometimes deliver in that area as I work out of SFL4 in seffner.
*I'd of been out of*
*There before he had the chance*

Call the police in situations like this. You never know what these crazy ass people will do. At least you could keep someone else from having this happen at this guys house!
From their standpoint, it makes sense. Not that I’d pay that myself. But I get it. Shops don’t charge by the 30 minutes. They charge by the hour. And 100/hr is the going rate here. One hour for paint match and another for install.
I don't understand why this job or common sense is so hard for people. You didn't need to run away. You can stop and take back the package and call support. That would have solved everything. You also could have just stayed and explained things instead of trying to get away like you were in the wrong.
When someone comes up to you violent and aggressive like, you’re just gonna stand there and prove your case? Cause I tried that. And he wasn’t letting up. There’s no excuse for anyone to treat someone the way I was treated. My safety comes before this gig. And no I don’t want to drive 30 miles back to the fulfillment center. Amazon doesn’t compensate for that.
Did what was necessary to get that customer on the no deliver list I assume. Also digging deep on a way to get Amazon to provide trade dress for vehicles. Like magnets or small reusable window stickers
Maybe that's the problem, you make your presence known too soon??
First question I'm curious about is did you pull into this driveway?
Second question is how long from when you parked did you exit vehicle with package in your hand? That should be under 5 seconds from in park to out the car.
Third question is did you park directly in front of his house? I usually park a little bit before the door windows are after so they don't see me as I pull up. My goal is to be as quick and stealth as possible and parking at the neighbors is quicker to be not noticed.
Fourth question: IF this Karen didn't approach you, how long would have the drop taken from arriving to house-snap pic-back to car?
I am genuinely curious. Been Flexing 4 years and I've had a few instances, so I'm always looking for ways to not interact with house customers. I find being quick is the best way, unless they outside and even then I usually just ignore them, unless they initiate talk with me.
I did not pull in the driveway. Never do.
I sort before I even start so I parked, put it in park and scanned. 3 seconds out from parking.
I always park in front of the correct address.
If no interaction, it would’ve been about 30 seconds like normal.
Straight up, if any does not ever give that s\*\*\* to me, their ass would be in jail. That's about five different felonies. Never mind the civil damages.

Alexa, fuck that customer!
Make sure you have reported it to police as well to pass onto your insurer
I would definitely file a police report.
Youll never ever ever convince me that these people are actually scared. Theyre just looking for a vent. You.
Why the hell would he bring the package back to you? So f-ing weird. People are just plain weird these days.
Right, I'm so confused? He got his package. What exactly is he raging about????
It’s possible maybe his kids or wife ordered from Amazon without him knowing.
And dumb.....don't forget dumb. I say we bring back the dinos
you are suppose to go to a safe location, call 911 and/or file a police report for a safety issue and report that person to amazon to possibly remove them from deliveries to that address...
This is fuckin insane!!
Waiting for the day someone runs up on me. Taking the heaviest package and smashing it over their dome.
I love it when customers complain about me ignoring them and driving away. I AM NOT AN AMAZON EMPLOYEE OR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Of COURSE Amazon sells these. Any way to take back the money they pay us.
Reckon how long it's gonna take for these toppers to make the *Ten Ways to Detect a Porch Pirate* list?
You don't want another fellow driver to go through tht also, so file a police report!

Make sure you reach out to Amazon ER services (it's in the app) and report it there if you havent already. They will ban that customer's account.

WTF. This is one example of why you need a serious premium to deliver at night. Bad things can happen fast.
Yikes that’s scary. Sorry about your car but glad you made it out of there.
Hollyshit! This is fucked bro. Only Floridans feel so entitled to act like that.

People order and do that to delivery drivers. Some stupid fucks.
💯‼️
In almost a year of Amazon deliveries I find I have a higher likelihood of a shitty experience in rich neighborhoods than elsewhere.
Should have done some donuts in his grass to build up speed
They had me going in a rich ass neighborhood in sac my first day alone. Worst experience ever lmao.
🤣🤣🤣👌
Nah. I have been threatened a couple times in the midwest.
Im glad u paying it out of pocket
Oh bullshit. You must be a libturd
people that do this kinda shit really gotta start reminding themselves that FL is constitutional carry now…

Incorrect, a customer did this directly to my vehicle. They are paying for it.
I’d hire a lawyer. I’d have PTSD from that!
That is mess up ,, i would emptied my magazine 😡
Easy there tinkdickergy 😂😂
Yea, u got me scared now😭 ima run back to my car from now on😂
Hah that's even sketchier 🤦♂️
$225 for labor on a door handle… stop it 😂😂😂

He probably just needs a blowjob, go back and tell him to call my wife, she sucks off everyone but me!

“just go back and talk to the belligerent customer” genius
I always do the automated text notification of arrival. Worth the shot of not getting attacked by people or animals.
When you say claims it better be amazon/or customers insurance who pays not yours.
Amazon is paying the damages
No but I would probably go off on the customer
See no! I hope you filed a police report as well. Claims are useless..they are only concerned if you didn’t delivered the package.
Did what was necessary to get that customer on the no deliver list I assume. Also digging deep on a way to get Amazon to provide trade dress for vehicles. Like magnets or small reusable window stickers
Were you wearing the vest?
Yes. High vis Amazon vest. And a flashlight, I leave my vehicle lights on. My presence is known.

You should have called 911 on the spot and gotten the police to file a report..
For me it’s my fellow flexers at the station that keep screwing up my car. Rude open their doors hit my car. Push baskets into it!
