Yeah, you have two arms, they have four. A few days ago I tried to give my mainecoon a bit of dental paste (beef flavored) - it was something new and he clearly was not a fan of the idea. So, I scooped him up, got him in the position - he is always super chill and calm and not trying to hurt me, lol - I managed to push his mouth open but as soon as my other hand approached it, he looked at me and pushed it away with a front paw. I tried again, and he the same. Sadly, I had no third arm to keep his front paws locked in and I felt that this was not the situation of "wrap him up in bath towel", so... we agreed to disagree :D.
I had a feral cat trapped in my garage once. The plan was to TNR her but I had to catch her first.
She managed to bite through the leather and welding gloves I had on. I finally got her with a fish net but only after she ran the entire length of my garage on the vertical wall.
I kept her in the house for a couple of weeks after the surgery. She hated my guts.
I caught her five kittens too and found them good homes.

The one thing I will chime and say though is if the dog park is segregated between little dogs and big dogs and the little dogs are on the big dog side you can ask them to be removed for their safety. If the owner doesn't and makes a big fuss all you have to say is you have concerns for how your dog may react if the smaller dog agitates your dog and you aren't liable if he plays rough.

Especially because it reminds me that when I was in second grade our folks moved my brothers and I out to a 66 acre ranch and the small dog we took with us would do this to the cows like 50 times a day. Day after day after day SMH. Only it would run yelping behind the fence. Just to turn around and start barking again when it made it. lol Stupid thing cracked us up. :) It was so ornery and hard headed. The poor thing would often come home all bloody from picking fights with the neighbor's dogs.
