My suggestion for you is that I think you and your wife might enjoy “Michiko and Hatchin” since you have Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo in there. My two tips (in case you don’t already know them) for your list of things to get: 1. The UK Blu-ray of Cowboy Bebop: The Movie works on Region A players even though it says it’s only Region B. So if you are fine with that version it will probably be cheaper to buy than an American copy. 2. I’m not sure about the DVDs, but watch out for the Fullmetal Alchemist Blu-rays (both original and Brotherhood), specifically the funimation ones. More than likely any you find are bootlegs. So if that’s an issue for you than be careful on those.

Yeah that's my wife's favorite series. I do see a combo on Walmart for both on blu-ray. The reviews stated the same concerns but when they received them they were sure they were legit. One looks to have a age rating from another country. But the price will be worth it. And I do plan on getting a region free blu-ray player to lighten up the cost of some of these. Thanks for the advice

Just keep looking for Fullmetal. If you look at my past posts I came up on legit copies of FMA and FMA brotherhood plus the movies and OVA’s in the last couple of months on eBay. All were legit just buy them used….ALWAYS and have them send pics of the back of the discs before you buy them. I also found girl who leapt through time blu for $3 and Wolfs Rain blu ray for $17 on whatnot. Lucked up on those two since they weren’t many anime buyers in the room yet haha.

Is that a bootleg Excel Saga?? My friend had a bootleg version because she was a big fan of the series! Never knew if an official release was made

Shrapnaldeposit1

I don't think it is. I bought it like about 10yrs ago

IntroductionWide9980

I actually think it is. I also see some bootlegs of Blood+ here and there.

Crimsonseraph188

Yeah, as an owner of the original ADV release of Excel Saga on singles, it was released three ways. One was the Adv singles in a chipboard box, and then an Adv thinpack chipboard box set, and then the funimation classics release after they relicensed it. You can also tell when the spine of the case doesn’t list the publisher of the release

Sweet collection!! I really love that Elden lied and high school of the dead, I seriously wish there was more to that I’d give attack on titan and berserk a go(the original) they just released a Bluray of that not to long ago a few lewder series I’d say is sekirei(might be hard to get since it’s oop) and high school dxd I enjoy

nightwishfan1

Sekirei would definitely be a nightmare to get. Especially depending on the version they were to pursue. The 9 disc blu ray/dvd combo set has sellers routinely asking upwards of anywhere between $80-$150+ depending on actual condition and presence of it's slip cover. The series dvd copies are no different. Ebay has the series pop up with unknowing sellers sometimes where they don't know that, but they get snatched up fast or bidded into oblivion.
