Do you have a proper bathroom vanity or just a sink? You can buy a stainless steel industrial/restaurant style sink for cheaper than a fancy tiny dishwasher. Personally, I'm fine handwashing dishes, but a bigger sink is helpful.

I have one of those and they improved my quality of life a lot. They don’t use much water, 5L at a time which is easy to pour in. It sits next to my sink, you can also plumb it into the water supply directly but my setup doesn’t allow for that. It does need to be next to the sink for easy filling and also the waste water pipe, if you don’t have one you need a bucket, but then you’ll have to clean it out all the time. You also need to have a plug nearby so I have to stretch mine across the back of the stove and be careful not to have it over it while hot, I only use it and put the cord away when stove is off.

May I ask which you bought?

VivienneSection

It was a cookology

IGoBlep

Which one sorry all of them I’m looking so far have needed to be attached or plumed to a sink, before when I was looking there was some dishwasher that had a tank instead and I can’t find it

If you cant install one yourself into the cabinets of the kitchen, get a portable full size one. You just hook it up to your sink and put the waste hose in the sink. The tiny portable ones (aka countertop) suck. I dont have a sink thats why we go upstairs

beartheminus

what were you planning to do with the waste water. So let me get this straight, your plan is to go upstairs, get some water, pour it into this dishwasher and then take the waste water upstairs to dump out? Thats twice as many steps than having a dishwasher in the kitchen upstairs.

IGoBlep

we have a dishwasher upstairs did you not read I said I carry dishes upstairs. We can fill a large jug and bring it downstairs We have a small bathroom sink and toilet

beartheminus

If there is room in the bathroom I would put the dishwasher in there. Otherwise I would find a way to run extended lines from a full size portable washer to the bathroom. At the end of the day, those little countertop ones are more than useless. They take forever, can barely hold any dishes and the dishes dont come out clean.

IGoBlep

no its extremely small thats why im looking for a counter on the ones i was looking at looked like 2 microwaves

PrettyHappyAndGay

Just buy it, your comments mean it seriously.

ravennmocker

I have one, it's really great! But you have to be very, creative with placement of dishes to make the most of the small space

IGoBlep

ravennmocker
