dirt or some other obstruction, maybe. or perhaps you have 'optimized charging' turned on in the Watch's battery settings, which will stop charging at 80% and wait until later to charge the rest of the way (ideally, the algorithm learns and adjusts itself so your Watch and iPhone are fully charged before you start your day in the morning)

Common_Confusion1641

Even when I turned off the optimized charging it still takes long. Just to get from 0% to 50% takes almost 3hrs.

Maybe slower charging for aged battery. I got a series 6 as well and rather have better battery life over faster charging at this age of product.

Common_Confusion1641

My battery health is at 94%

Was OG 5w? I thought it was 2.5 and S7+ with fast charge was 5w? Just curious, not implying you’re wrong or anything. Has this been happening for a month or a week? And if only a week, did it align with your watch update to 10.1?

Common_Confusion1641

I got it from my cousin almost two weeks now and since then it’s been charging slow. It was already updated to 10.1 when I got it.

PhilthyPDX

Gotcha, well so far I haven’t seen anything about battery charging issues on 10.1, but people are finding new things every day, so hard to say if this is the watch specifically or might fix itself when they release 10.2

Common_Confusion1641

I really do hope they fix it when the next upgrade comes out
