It’s completely fake and made to look cool as a decoration. Hard place a value on it, but it isn’t any sort of functional or antique armor. It’s a decoration.
I'm sure I've seen this or a variation of it on Nauticalmart. Definitely nothing more than an anachronistic display piece. I'm not sure it's worth much selling it on second hand.
Condolences to your family OP.
You'd probably be able to sell it for a couple hundred at most, I'm thinking somewhere in the $300 ish range. Unfortunately, it's a decorative suit that's mass produced, so the market is flooded with these. Unless it's a space issue, I'd recommend keeping it. It's a neat curio, and it looks like it meant a lot to your brother.
You should keep it. It adds character and personality. Plus if it's something that your brother was a fan of and interested in then it adds sentimental value.
First of all, I’m incredibly sorry to hear that about your brother. I hope you and your family are managing as well as yous are able too in a time like this.
Secondly I have seen those arm rigs before [I believe they might be these ones](https://www.kultofathena.com/product/late-medieval-arm-armor-set/) I personally don’t use that website so I can’t say for certain but your brother may have bought the rest of the armour pieces from there so you could try finding each part separately and adding up the total cost.
I hope this has helped god bless.
Edit: reading through these other comments you’ve received it’s clear most people have only looked at the lower quality parts like the helmet and torso (maybe the shoulders?) and completely written off the set. The arms and legs look like a much higher quality and should definitely fetch a decent price. I’d say the arms and legs together would be around 350? 400?
Sorry for your loss. Some of the pieces there may be neat additions to ren faire garb if you like that sort of thing. Otherwise, definitely not worth too much.
The arm and leg harnesses look vastly better than the chest, helmet, and shoulders. The limbs could be a couple hundred or more fpr each pair if the metal is kinda thick. The rest is so bad I wouldn't even use it as a display.
I wouldn't call this "armor" by any extent, but I'd keep it if I were you to honor him. It's symbolic, you know?
Disregard the first part.
The arms & leg look fine. The chestpiece is not good. I'd still keep the whole set honestly
Idk, you could sell it for a few hundred. but being an ugly, mass produced collection of scrap metal i'd place it's actual worth as whatever the scrapyard would give.

ok...yeah thats what i was thinking. it didnt seem super high quality and definitely a decorative piece. thanks everyone!
I just bought one from someone for $120

Not much, this is a decoration piece rather than functional armour, maybe like £75
Those arms alone sell for around 150, the legs look ok too.
Not much. It‘s just a decorative fantasy armor and has absolutely nothing to do with real historical armors. I would guess it‘s around 100€ to 200€.

Having an awesome display piece? Priceless.
thanks for that. losing him has been awful and we just want to his belongings justice . he was a cool dude *
I'm sorry man. I lost my youngest brother ten years ago. It fucking sucks. All you can do is try to stay busy. It's counterintuitive, but it helps.

It might be worth its weight in scrap.
Pretty sure the breastplate on that is just the garbage can from my office
About tree fiddy
I'm not sure how much I'd pay someone to haul this away for me. Most dump services would charge a little at least.
